I went there for dinner with friends. I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to just order an appetizer which was $15 on the menu. The place is lovely, most of my companions said their dinners were very good. They had a singer who was wonderful & engaged the entire restaurant in joining him with the singing. We were a large party & the service was very good. I couldn't wait to tell my friends what a great place this was & recommend they go there. The problem was, when the server gave me my check, it was for $20. I thought he made a mistake so I brought it to his attention. I was told it wasn't a mistake, if you only order an appetizer, they charge $20 no matter how much the appetizer is on the menu. Can you explain to me the logic in this?? I was livid & told the waiter I'll never go there again. Of course, one person not returning isn't a big deal, but I've told every one I've spoken to about this & they all said they'll never go there. Just bought a property in the area and heard about Casa Nostra so wanted to give it a try. stopped in on a Tuesday night with a party of 5 adults. We enjoyed appetizers of fried calamari, jumbo shrimp/cherry tomatoes/peppers in a delectable garlic and wine sauce. Also finished the apps with the sausage/spinach and cannelloni beans. Apps were enjoyed by all. Not one negative comment. Then all of the party had the house salad. Again very nice house dressing. We then all had different entrees. I enjoyed the plentiful chicken Marsala over capellini and the wife had a chicken in lemon sauce again over pasta. Others in the party had different dishes such as chicken fra diavolo chicken Fantasia and the final one a gnocchi that was to die for in a Parmesan cream sauce. I put this experience right up there with some of my favorite Italian joints all over. Service was great. Food served hot. Will be back soon. read more

I have driven pass this place many times and really did not know the name until I parked almost in front of the joint. The restaurant is modern, clean, and cool with a friendly staff. Dine inside or out your choice, also BYOB place. Jaun our waiter help us out with the menu, also explained all the specials in detail and did not rush our orders. Appetizer which we ordered was calamari tubes only came with a warm marinara sauce and some type of a sweet red pepper sauce with was outstanding. Meal came with house salad very colorful with a taste house dressing. Entrees were cheese ravioli with shrimp in a creamy sauce. Also ordered the special of Swordfish with eggplant, provolone cheese, roasted tomato, something that I never had caper berries in a light sauce, swordfish was a good size eggplant, tomato, and cheese on both ends and big enough to split. I could only eat about 25 percent of this dish. I was also checking out the wood cooked or wood fired oven pizza that is only served in the restaurant area on Friday and Saturday evenings. I think you have to be sitting in the dining area for the wood fired pizza, pretty good choices to choose from, heading back very soon. read more

The Carne pizza was amazing. The sauce was deep and rustic vs sweet/fruity. The meatballs were extremely soft and flavorful, must be pork! We had lunch Saturday and we were very happy. I heard it was good but I always wait for them to slip up and start sucking but that didn't happen. The place wasn't busy but they still had good service. We had really good bread for the table, chicken Milanese ( the chicken was slightly greasy from just being cooked) and the salad part of it was really good. Party of 8 for lunch, while there was another party of 20. While the main meals came out at different times, we understood that would happen, and everyone's food was perfect, and tasty. Very disappointed. My husband and I have been there several times and we've gotten take out as well. A friend and myself decided to have a pizza after a long week of work, she was here from California. It was busy, which is always a good thing, and I can see they were short handed, but we were hungry, and knew it would be worth a few extra minutes. We were seated and forgotten. After several attempts to get someone's attention for 20 minutes, we left. I understand the worker shortage, but several parties that were seated after us, had their orders promptly taken. The one kid that was there was running around picking up empty glasses and bringing bread to 3 other tables that were seated well after us, we didn't even get bread, all we got was water, and the older person in the shirt and tie, I assume was the manager, was talking to the people waiting at the door who were waiting to be seated, laughing and chatting with all the other customers, everything but take our order. Like I said, I understand being short staffed, but that was an awful experience and we won't be back, at least not until you have enough people to serve everyone. Maybe because it was just 2 of us, and not a large group where a larger tip is involved. You both looked right at us several times while walking by, then kept going. We went down the road to Montesini's, and had a great pizza and salads. And, I did send a message to them-they didn't even bother to respond. read more

We had my son's Confirmation dinner after mass and the food was amazing. From the appetizers to the desserts and everything in between was delicious. Service was fantastic!! William and Giovanni know how to take care of their customers. The prices were so reasonable for the amount of food we received and the quality. Highly recommend eating in or doing take out. I had a couple of very bad experiences here a couple of years ago with one of the owners. I don't know why he acted the way he did, the past is the past. Sometimes people have things they are going through and it has nothing to do with you so you should not take it personal. The food is great. The older gentleman owner is sweet. Sorry. We Iive in the area and decided to try Casa Nostra after recommendations from our friends. My husband ordered the pasta Fagioli soup and fried calamari (2 apps), enough for dinner. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The server told us there is a $15 sharing charge and because I ordered an entree for $20 there would be an additional $15 added to our bill. The sharing charge is listed on the menu. I could understand it if we only ordered one dish. We left the restaurant. This is bad business practice. Sorry, we won't be back. This was my first time ordering from them and the delivery was fast. The crab soup was AH-MAZING bomb.com status its white and very cheesy! Yummm. Big portion for the small price. Cacio e pepe I was honestly kinda disappointed in only bc I was expecting a more creamy base and it seemed like butter noodles w some Parmesan cheese. Met friends for dinner at Casa Nostra last night and it was a great experience! We had reservations for 6:15 and when we arrived the restaurant was packed! All of the tables were filled except for our table of four. Our friends enjoy wine and brought a bottle of their favorite and we decided on soft drinks. Several large tables were ahead of us but our waiter, who also had those large tables made sure we felt comfortable and assured us he would take care of us. We were in no hurry and in a reasonable amount of time bread and oil were at our table, waters were kept cold and full as we waited to order. After ordering salads arrived and we enjoyed a fresh salad with the house dressing, it was delicious. Entrees arrived shortly after we finished the salads and everything was amazing and well prepared. Especially liked the lasagna and eggplant parm!!! The sauce was magnificent! An entertainer kept the crowd happy during the wait with standards and soon enough the whole restaurant was singing along. All in all, a great experience, fantastic food and since we ate with friends we hadn't seen in a while, a most enjoyable evening. Can't wait to go to Casa Nostra again. Best pizza I have had in years, the sauce is sweet and light with fresh tomatoes. So far we have had only their pizza from take out, damn pandemic, but will certainly eat in once we are living normally again. I also recommend the "Di Rabe" pizza with cheese, sausage, garlic and broccoli rabe. It has no tomato sauce but is still a real treat for the taste buds. read more

First of all, let me just say, before I posted this review, I reached out to the owner, Giovanni. His response to my issues was very unprofessional. My husband and I and another couple had a 5:30 reservation for dinner last night. We had heard some good things and wanted to give the restaurant a try. It's a fairly small casual BYOB establishment in a strip mall. There have been numerous restaurants in this location that have not succeeded. It was fairly empty when we first got there, but continued to fill up as the 6:00 hour approached. There seemed to be sufficient wait staff on duty. Upon introducing himself, our waiter stated, "This is my 4th day here; bear with me!" I'm understanding and realize the restaurant had only been open a few weeks. However, not really a good way to start out. He was not a young kid; probably in his 30's, so I'm assuming he has had some experience. My party had a few questions. "What is EVOO?" Answer: Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Our waiter's response: "A spicy red sauce." We asked whether soup and/or salad came with the meal. He said only with the veal dishes. Ok, a little odd, but if you look at the menu, only the veal dishes stated a salad was included. We had a few other questions, the answers which were inaccurate. Ok, you're new and may not know the answers....then ASK someone!!!! Between the 4 of us, there were 3 salads ordered. Only 2 were brought out. We had to track the waiter down. I had ordered the "Cardini" which was a traditional Caesar salad. It was a small plate of romaine lettuce with a few croutons sprinkled on top and what looked like mayo drizzled on it. The menu said it was $8, I believe. I asked for shredded Parmesan. I was told it didn't come with it. Ok, but I'm sure there was some in the kitchen you could sprinkle on it???? I ended up sending mine back. There was also some confusion with my entree. However, mine came out first, while we had to wait a few minutes for the others. One person ordered lasagna which the menu stated came with meatballs. It was presented with 1 meatball and 1 sausage. We were never offered dessert or coffee. When the bill came, we were not billed for the 2 Caesar salads, but were billed for a chicken salad we hadn't ordered. To be honest, we were ready to leave. The issue of salad coming only with the veal dishes continued to bother me. I decided to call today. I called between lunch and dinner when it wouldn't be quite so busy. That's when I spoke with Giovanni, who identified himself as the owner. I asked if all their meals came with salads. I was told yes. I then said I had an issue with our meal the night before. His response, "Are you the one who left the review?" My answer: "No, I prefer to address things directly with the business." Before I could even say anything more, Giovanni began yelling at me that "In my defense, we are a new business. If I don't hire these people, we shut our doors. What do you want from me? What do you want? Tell me. I want to know." I proceeded to say that if he didn't speak in a nicer tone, I would leave a public review. Needless to say, here it is! Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? As a new business owner, would you not want to know the incorrect information that is being given to your customers? I was very disappointed. Tried Casa Nostra for the second time couple nights ago. First time we ordered pick up got the margarita pizza. Was delicious. Plenty of cheese and sauce. Crust nice and thin and perfect chewy texture. Also got the cardini salad which is their version of Caesar salad and it's sooooo sooooo good. I really enjoyed this salad! So fresh and slices of parm. So this week we called for delivery and we got a few things: mussels in white wine sauce, chicken wings with a truffle caper aioli on the side, cardini salad again () and the pork ragu gnocchi. Everything was delicious!! The wings were probably my least fav but that's okay, the Italian dishes really shined! They gave yummy fresh bread too! Soaked up all the delicious sauce from mussels. Also the mussels were very big and plump! And then the gnocchis were so fresh and light, they must be homemade !! I'm overall so impressed with casa Nostra and very happy we live close by! read more

Had a great dine-in experience last Friday evening! Very attentive and quick (but not rushed) service! Loved the roasted garlic infused olive oil and fresh bread! All dishes we ordered were made with fresh, high quality ingredients and were delicious! My only critique was that we were expecting a dinner menu that included their salads, pizzas and sandwiches. Is it possible those are only available for lunch or takeout? The menus we were handed only had appetizers, pasta and full entrees. The waiter was kind enough to let us know about the kids' options (we had our two daughters w. us). We will return but maybe for takeout or lunch so we can take advantage of the other options! read more

This is now the third time I've ordered from this restaurant and every time I order has been either messed up or "voided". When they canceled my order they did not have the decency to call me and let me know it was canceled they let me call them 55 minutes after I placed my order to find out that my order was canceled because they were out of short rib for one of their most popular pizzas. I have not received a discount For all of these mess ups. And when I called tonight I was told they tried to call me but my number was incorrect which is a complete lie because when I checked online my number was correct. The food is relatively good. DO NOT order online. It took over two hours for my order to arrive. After waiting an hour and half, I called and asked where my food was, and they said they don't always get the orders when they are online. (big red flag) I asked to be reimbursed since they did not have my order and he said no, he couldn't do that and I had to take it up with the website vendor. There is no phone number or email for the website vendor. I asked for the manager and he said there was no one onsite. Then and only then did he find my online order. He said it would arrive in ten minutes and it took thirty-five. Again, DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. You will never get your food. read more

Finally pizza the way it should be made! As a Brooklyn girl living in South Jersey finding a good pizza has been next to impossible. I just moved to Marlton and decided to try the many pizza places in the area---again I was disappointed until I ordered from Casa Nostra. The pizza is the best I have tasted. The crust is thin and crispy and a perfect texture. The sauce & cheese were just perfect with lots of flavor. My 20 year old son who doesn't like red sauce said it was the best he tasted (he ate 3/4 of the large pie). My only complaint is that we ordered a pepperoni pizza and when we got home we realized that we had been given a plain pizza instead. The person on the phone said they would remake the pizza but we couldn't wait another 30 minutes. I would still order from Casa Nostra again and can't wait to try the other menu items. read more
