Margarita

Our school Christmas party was hosted here and a lot of people said the food is good. It is good for group of people I believe we were 30 teachers here. The staff are attentive and friendly of course! We received a great service. I ordered chicken enchiladas and mango margaritas both came really good. The food was a big portion very fulfilling and we got flan is a good. All the teachers are satisfied with their orders. I will be returning to try other dishes.

We come regularly for years. There are great menu items that are good to read about and consider, but typically we have go to items. Mine is quesabirra or street tacos, my wife is a street taco fanatic. Pork pastor never disappoints, but there are a variety of options. The quesabirra had a rich flavour with a homemade smokiness that was very delicious. The prices are great. Once you know what you want over time you can order very effectively, getting plenty of tasty, shareable food at a good price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a solid establishment that you can use for parties or smaller groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think they have a balanced menu that is consistent over years. Service is great, with very polite staff. It's a regular part of our lunch rotation...

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Love this restaurant the ambience is very open family oriented, large restaurant good for a large groups and parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's always busy and bustling with conversation and smiles from the hostess all the way to the waitress in the waiters very professional attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is delicious. We had the shrimp quesadilla with a side of rice and beans, and a combination of pork tamale, shrimp enchilada, which was excellent by the way and a fish taco with rice and beans on the side we had the 22 ounce top shelf. Margarita, which was fantastic. Don't miss out.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything, food, service and fun ambiance![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great crew always! You can never go wrong here, especially on Cinco de Mayo

Fries almost tasted like McDonald's!

I'm the dude that got french fries here so interpret my review however you want. First off, those fries were good though! 75% closeness to McDonald fries. I got the Street Tacos Al Pastor. They were fine, nothing super memorable about it. Just tasted standard. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think what's nice here is the space. I was really surprised by how big the restaurant was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came here during lunch, and there was a sales presentation being held in one of the corners and then another area had a children's birthday party. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is HUGE! Perfect spot to host something[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Casa Orozco catered at my work for lunch on Monday, a variety of trays set up, different meats (beef, pork, and at least two types of chicken), crispy and soft taco shells, tortilla chips, beans, rice, veggies, and sauces. The salad ingredients were fresh, and the mixed vegetables were delicious but mainly bell peppers. The steak was okay, not bad but not memorable in any way. The chicken was really good, tender and flavorful, marinated in really great seasoning. I especially enjoyed the arroz con pollo, a smoky and savory concoction with layers of mexican rice, melted cheese, and enchilada sauce.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty cool restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a great patio area and plenty of seating inside as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are tables and booths which I appreciate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is pretty good. The food is delicious. I usually get chicken enchiladas or the Alteno Burrito with shredded beef. The beans and rice are amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place to go with a large party or just a few people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very accommodating.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely has a great vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service a little slow for not being busy. Margarita pricey and weak. Food was definitely a solid five star. I had the carnitas burrito.

My family and I had a lovely meal at Casa Orozco last night (Thursday) They have a number of gluten-free choices. I got the GF chicken free fajitas, which were delicious. The food was fresh and yummy and the waiter was very accommodating.. give this place a try you will be glad you did. Bon appétit

TEN YEARS LATER My last time eating here I wasn't impressed by either the food or service. I wasn't planning to come here again. Last night my friends and I ate here at the last minute as the place we wanted to go to eat was too far away with closing time approaching by. I wasn't going to order the barbacoa, which was the item I ordered last time, but something new. What appealed to me from the menu was the quesabirria - an item lately that I'm attracted to when I go to a Mexican eatery. When I got my quesabirria it didn't look as if the tortilla was crispy enough. The beef was tender and moist. The consommé tasted more of a salsa texture than a beefy texture. I was satisfied, but not impressed with the quesabirria. My dinner at Casa Orozco was a slight improvement from ten years ago when I last ate here.

Bad service, rice and beans looked liked leftovers, warmed-up. Loud inside, tried flagging-down server, no luck.

The people who run this place keep this place tidy and clean as evidenced by how quickly they cleared my glass and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I missed the rock n' roll memo, but amazingly talented singers including the KJ himself. The sound system can be pretty loud especially the bass, so ended up keeping my ear plugs in. My only major reservation is how the karaoke queue is managed. Couldn't help but notice the bartenders and some patrons who generously tipped got to sing multiple times in a row. One of the patrons tipped $20 and sang three songs in a row. In comparison, I got one song in in the span of three hours. I kind of expected the place to start clearing out after midnight but ppl stuck around and seemed to be having a good time. If you're not into rock n' roll/metal karaoke, they also have pool, shuffleboard, and darts. I do like the KJ and the patrons here, though in the future, I'll just set the expectation that I'll get one song in and set a curfew for myself.

The inside is dimly lit and decorated elegantly. I liked the inclusion of honeycombs in the lighting fixtures and even the ice in my drink. The darks and golds almost give Great Gatsby vibes. We all ordered a different cocktail from their signature menu. I got the Electric Nectar. The drink was a little tart and sour. The Buzzed & Bougie was very floral, and The Cusco Comb had a nice balance of flavors. Out of the 3, the Electric Nectar was probably the strongest in terms of tasting the alcohol. I don't particularly prefer sour drinks. If I were to re-order, I would get the Cusco Comb, as it fits my taste profile the most. We also ordered the Burrata to share. It came with 6 pieces of toast, which was perfect and divided evenly among the 3 of us. The burrata was delicious. The cherry gastrique added a nice touch of sweetness without being overly sweet. As time progressed, more and more people came in. By the time we left, the lounge was pretty filled.

The service was fantastic, and every drink we ordered was thoughtfully crafted. Pro tip: Follow their Instagram before you go! They post their updated schedule and the weekly secret password there since it changes regularly based on bookings. Here's what we tried: Cusco Comb (1000/10): Absolutely one of the best cocktails I've ever had. It was sweet, strong, and incredibly smooth without the alcohol being overpowering. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered a second one. I would honestly come back just for this drink alone. Honeycomb After Dark (9/10): Such a fun twist on an espresso martini! It reminded me of a Vietnamese coffee with a boozy kick. As the ice cream melted, the drink became even creamier and more delicious. Gin & Tonic (6/10): I'm not personally a gin and tonic fan, but my sister really enjoyed it. She thought the ratio of gin to tonic was spot on. Fries (6/10): Super crispy with a great texture, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The only downside is that there's only one bathroom, so keep that in mind if it's busy. If you're looking for a great spot to grab drinks in downtown, I highly recommend this speakeasy. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the cocktails are outstanding, and the service is consistently excellent. I'd probably skip the food next time and eat somewhere else beforehand, then come here to enjoy the amazing drinks.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, the indoor decor is super cute with total tiki vibes, but it was a pretty evening so we snagged an outdoor table. Perfect for people-watching: right by the street, but not so close you're dodging traffic! We arrived early enough on a Friday that we were seated immediately. The drink menu has something for everyone, including mocktails (huge plus!). I went with the Mango Bubbly Beach Bum, complete with a little umbrella and twisted straw - as cute as it was delicious. Pro tip: they have heaters outside, just ask and they'll bring one right to your table. The servers and bartenders were so attentive - even sitting outside, we were never forgotten, which I really appreciated. The best part? When we paid, our server told us not to leave just yet, something was coming. The three of us were side-eyeing each other trying to figure out who planned a surprise. Spoiler: it was the bartender (I believe his name is Prince - didn't catch it that night, but other reviews confirmed my suspicions)! He brought out mini shooters in this volcano-looking contraption, sprinkled it with cinnamon, and it did a fireball thing that was SO cool. He even remembered we ordered mocktails and made them non-alcoholic. Such a thoughtful send-off! Downtown is officially our new girls' night spot, we'll definitely be regulars. 10/10 would recommend!
