With COVID they are taking every precaution necessary which makes me feel very comfortable going back. The wait for the cookies are close to none they right away give you them to you. I've been coming to The OC Fair for years and I haven't seen Cathy's Cookies, but I was hooked this time around because of the smell and it looked really tasty. They only have chocolate chip cookies (but really that is all you need in life) and milk. If you are a big group or a family get the bucket because you get about three dozen of those babies. I ordered a sleeve of cookies (about one dozen) and they were tasty and soft. The cookies were soft and remained soft until the next day. I highly recommend getting this the end of your fair visit that way you can have it on the way out and save the rest the following day. read more

OMG, these are frighteningly good! I normally don't like this style of cookie, but we were at the Angel game and they were there, so I gave them a go. (It's against my religion to pass up warm cookies.) My husband and I could not stop eating them. We ate waaaaayyy too many!! Ended up taking some home and they were still yummy three or four days later. My husband heated his in the microwave for 14 secs and said they were extra yummy. They may seem expensive at first. They also offer milk for $2 to enjoy with your fresh baked warm cookies. I ended up choosing the Sleeve of Cookies. The cookies are super warm and fresh. They taste like a home made cookie. They are also made to order. The Bucket of 36 cookies is too many for one person in my opinion. But the sleeve of cookies is the happy medium. Overall I will definitely be back! Cookies & Baseball?! Came for the OC Fair and walked by Cathy's Cookies and instantly smelled the freshness of the baked cookies. Smelled so good and looked even better. They only sell chocolate chip cookies. When a place only focuses and sells one type of cookie you know they will be amazing. They had a few options for cookie ice cream sandwiches, hot chocolate, and coffee as well. For the cookies, they sell them in a sleeve which comes with about 12-14 cookies and also a bucket which comes with about 36 cookies. Once I received the sleeve the cookies were hot and fresh. They were delicious. Super soft cookies, gooey chocolate chips and just exactly what you want in a cookie. Will be getting cookies here again next time I see their booth. read more

These cookies are so delicious. They come out soft and warm. I actually purchased these cookies a couple of days ago at the Orange County fair and ran into them again at the Angle Game. Of course I had to make another purchase. I would recommend if it is only a few people that are not going to be eating a bunch of cookies just purchase the cone not the sleeve. The cone is at the bottom of the menu, so it is very easy to look right passed it. I've purchased both the bucket , in my opinion the top seller, and the sleeve and it has been too many cookies for the small group I was with both times. They are very rich so 2-3 cookies go a long way. read more

When I went to the OC Fair I bought a bucket of their famous cookies and it did not disappoint!!! They were warm, gooey, and soft - tasted homemade. A bucket was pricey around 22 dollars and they do fill the whole bucket to the top so you get your money's worth. A week later they still tasted fresh and you can warm it up in the oven to melt the chocolate chips. They only carry chocolate chips and no other flavors which is disappointing if you love cookies but hate chocolate. I haven not seen these in stores only at the fair. read more

Taste is 10/10 even when you get them home & they're not warm anymore the flavor is delicious. I first had Cathy's Cookies at the LA Fair a couple years ago, and I was impressed not just by the cookies but by the fact that CATHY HERSELF was inside of that truck breaking a sweat and working her tail off. That may have won me over more than the DELICIOUS cookies. To see someone create something they believe in and really work for, now that is something I'll buy over and over. So, this year when I entered the OC fair and saw some other cookie stand I told my family "no we are getting our cookies from Cathy!" and we did, and sure enough just like before Cathy was inside baking these cookies!! I don't know her personally, but what I do know is that she's a person of integrity, willing to get her hands dirty, and definitely not just standing around at the register collecting money or sending the truck with employees to bring her back her cash. I love the cookies but the service at Dignity Health Sports Park is too slow. I usually miss 20-25 minutes of a game half that's 45 minutes. They usually have one person filling the order and an order comes out per minute. Everyone in line always complaints. :( read more
