There needs to be more Cavas here. I'm so glad they're showing up more in California. I got introduced to it in Arizona and crave it every so often. Think if Chipotle was Mediterranean. I feel like there's more variety here though and the options are healthy and are great quality. These bowls are so affordable, literally I pay $10 here, and the portions are huge sometimes I'm able to turn it into two meals but even after the gym we're all satisfied with Cava. It definitely hits the spot. Anna is the sweetest worker ever, literally took such great care of us and she will hook you up. Introduced me to this amazing sauce too!! DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. I've been to CAVA Anaheim hills many times and Brea always excellent all around. This location not so much... This one opened and is closer to my house thought I'd try. I will never return! The serving size was less than half the bowl. Maybe a quarter filled MAYBE. I didn't even realize they put rice in it I thought they had forgotten because I could barely even see it scattered throughout the bowl. I took my dad here as I raved about how good CAVA was and he was SO disappointed. His portion had barely anything 3 spinach leaves and some burnt meat! (No over exaggeration) They didn't include the pita bread and BARELY gave any of the dips you get to pick from. This is unacceptable. What a waste of $ and poor service all around. After the third time trying to give this location a chance, sadly I will not anymore. Portions were very small for the price, even without comparing it to other Cava locations. Not a fan of the flies behind the sneezeguard landing on the food. They didnt provide or offer the pita slice that typically come with the bowls. Also noticed they were not practicing FIFO with the proteins. They just placed the newer hot meats over the older meats on the service line. Unfortunately, this is one less local spot to support. I guess this is just as well since its challenging to get a parking spot since there's a gym next door. You'll be left waiting forever while they assign one person to you, but they've got two staff members hustling for online orders, even when there's a long line of people. 2. Maybe it's because we showed up at 7:30 pm, but the selection of vegetable toppings was pitiful. Both online and walk-in customers got served scraps. It wasn't until I asked them to restock the tomato and cucumber that they actually bothered to go to the fridge right behind them and swap out the containers. And this wasn't just one item--it was at least six different toppings. Seriously, step it up. We're paying for a decent meal here. Honestly, highly disappointed in this location. My boyfriend and I came in for cava, and this was my second time having it. First and foremost, the brown rice we both got was crunchy and stale. We asked for them to remake our bowl, and they did with pleasure. But the portion size they gave me, compared to the first bowl, was absolutely ridiculous. Personally, I would never come to this location again. And it sucks since I live down the street. I mean, chipotle and nick the Greek give bigger portions than what I just received. I'm a fan of Cava's food, have been for awhile. I know this location is pretty new, but they really need to get it together! First off, it's TINY. There are maybe 8 tables, if that. It's nearly impossible to get a table at lunch time, especially since rude people finish eating and refuse to leave, instead they sit at the table with their empty bowl scrolling on their phones. The workers seem frazzled and unorganized. On our most recent visit, my husband and I arrived right before noon to a line of 10+ people ahead of us. I don't know what was going on, but they somehow messed up the orders of a group of three at the front of the line. This caused the rest of the orders to get backed up, and soon there were at least 10 bowls sitting in a row on the counter, but nobody could work on them because for some reason it took 3 employees to rectify the issue. During this exciting wait, more and more people arrived and soon the line was out the door. Of course, there were no empty tables, so we all had to take our food to go. We decided from now on we are going to place our order online, pick it up, and eat at our office. It's not worth the frustration to stand in line and hope there will be a table open for us. Good food (especially the lamb meatballs and falafel) but a horrible system and too small of a location. read more

Sometimes they make it wrong like forgetting to put in toppings or adding non requested toppings especially when it's 2+ bowls but it's always filled. However Im not sure what happened today. We had no idea what to expect since it was our first time here. It was super busy with college students on a Saturday night. This is a new addition to the plaza shared with Paris Baguette and EōS Fitness. CAVA is located next door to Five Guys, which was like a ghost town. The line was nearly out the door when we arrived. It would flow a bit faster if the workers were a bit more well-trained. The staff seemed flustered with the long line. The girl who was making our bowls was distracted even with the cheat cards on which toppings are needed in a Chef curated bowl. We ordered the Steak Mezze Salad - healthy and light with arugula, baby spinach, fire roasted corn, tzatziki, red pepper hummus, pickled onions, and served with a Greek vinaigrette. The avocado was an extra charge. The steak was a bit tough but still flavorful. You customize the bowl to your liking or keep it as is. The complimentary pita bread is available upon request. The other bowl was a build your own. We opted for steak and chicken. For the bases - shredded romaine lettuce and saffron basmati rice. No sauces or dressing. Add-ons: fire roasted corn, Persian cucumbers, and Pita chips. Keeping it simple and still so good! We enjoyed the food! We didn't have an issue with undercooked items or portion sizes. I've been a handful of times since this location opened and have enjoyed my visits! This location is in a plaza that has many other businesses, including a gym. The gym can get very busy so sometimes it can be a bit difficult to find parking, but it is a large lot, so it shouldn't be too difficult. The food is great! Lines can sometimes be a bit long, especially during peak meal hours. Despite that, during my visits - the staff have all been very friendly and very kind! There are a few tables inside, so if those fill up then people take their food to-go. I've only ordered food here to take out so I can't speak too much on the ambiance of the in-store seating. There was one time where I ordered via the app for pick up and came shortly after my pick up time, but the food wasn't ready; they hadn't even made it yet. So I did have to wait about another 10 or so minutes for them to go through the orders before I was able to pick up my food. Personally, I've had better luck just going inside to wait in line then order my food. Sometimes they may forget the pita, if you want it, so just kindly let them know and they'll get it for you! It was my first time trying Cava , and I've heard wonderful things about it. I definitely was excited and decided to get a chicken bowl. Having a dairy allergy comes with a lot of accommodations and getting stuck with playing one option types of sides, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of vegan or dairy free options available. I was pleased to see the amount of toppings I was able to put into my chicken bowl and I also liked the side of pita. I definitely wanna come back and try a wrap. First and foremost, it's $17 for a basic bowl with two meats.. a little pricey but you get what you pay for sometimes. Well I didn't get what I paid for and that's what is concerning. They were out of almost five different ingredients, and two different sauces.. I am already a picky eater as is, so the fact that they were out of so much that I specifically wanted on the bowl was concerning. The staff her are always very friendly but one always stands out. Kenya has waited on me more than a handful of times. She is always so friendly. Makes small talk without holding up the line. Today I encountered her waiting on someone who had never been there before. She was patient and made suggestions which was great. A Mediterranean chipotle! Basically a build your own type of place. The bowl with steak ends up coming to about $17 which isn't too bad for the amount of meat you get. I do think it is a little pricey for what it is. The chicken bowl will set you back about $13. The steak was super tender and cooked a nice medium. Lots of options to choose from like hummus and tzatziki to pickled onions and roasted broccoli. There's really so many options that it can get overwhelming. Since some items are limited to 1-3, you can't really try everything at one time. Overall, it's a nice, clean, modern place with quick service just like chipotle. The customer service here is good the workers are really helpful in choosing whatever items you want to get and they don't skimp out on the portions. The place is always packed for some reason, probably cause it's the only cava there in area. The line usually wraps to the door, there is indoor seating, but most of the time it's not worth sitting down because the line wraps around to the seats and it's just weird eating when people are standing right next to you. I have been craving CAVA because the food is tasty and I love how healthy it is. Unfortunately, my excitement was quickly deflated by the rude and lackluster customer service at this location. It was deflating because not only had I been craving CAVA, but I was also, excitedly, introducing my boyfriend to CAVA for the first time. There are two specific people who were just rude, disinterested and seemingly dislike working at CAVA. I wish I would have asked their names, but I was so disappointed that I just wanted to get my food and eat. The first was a tall, skinny, white female who seemed rushed and annoyed at my request to get half salad and half lentils. To be fair to her, I was taking a bit of time in deciding as I was also explaining how to order to my boyfriend. She then passed me off to an even more rude shorter Asian lady who was so unwelcoming. I wish my experience was isolated, but the a party of about 4 females who were infront of us were also commenting on how ruden these two female workers were. I definitely don't want to shame anyone, but it really took away from not only my boyfriend's first experience, but the excitement I had to indulge in this food. Customer service is everything!
