Found a larva in my bowl I have seen repeated sanitation issues at this Cava. Staff talk over the food with actual spit landing in the containers, they put items that fell on the counter back into the containers, and the trash is always overfilled. I kept overlooking it because there are not many healthy options in this plaza. But finding a giant larva today is absolutely the last straw.

First time visiting this spot and I found the food very tasty. I ordered a bowl with roasted vegetables, rice, kale and topped with a garlic dressing. The ingredients were fresh but the portion sizes were a bit smaller than expected. The food is prepared at different stations allowing you to customize your bowl. There are an array of toppings from mild to spicy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which, I appreciated.

Cava has always been good to me. I never really had a bad experience here. Everything tastes super fresh and flavorful. I love eating here because of how nutritionally dense their meal is. You get your protein, carbs, veggies, and the fat from natural sources like yogurt and chickpeas. I got the basmati rice and lentils with chicken. At the time that I went, there seemed to be a rush before and they ran out of a lot of the proteins including chicken and steak. They notified me of a little wait time which I was fine with. At the end, they gave me a drink on the house for the inconvenience. They also packed my bowl which allowed me to have some leftovers the next day. Super considerate employees! This place is my new favorite place to get cava. I've always been satisfied with my experience.

Stopped by CAVA for lunch and even though it was pretty busy, the wait times weren't bad at all. Food (4/5): I ordered the garlicky chicken shawarma in a pita wrap. Flavor was great and everything was customizable, much like Chipotle but with a Mediterranean twist. One tip: if you're getting the pita wrap to go, I'd recommend having the sauces on the side--it can get pretty messy. I enjoyed it thoroughly, though I'd probably eat in next time. Ambiance (4/5): Clean, modern, and very much a fast-casual vibe. It's a nice spot, but parking can be tricky since it's right next to Panda Express and other popular lunch options. Service (4/5): Staff was friendly and helpful, keeping things moving quickly despite the lunch rush. Overall: Solid lunch option--fresh, tasty, and customizable. I'd definitely come back.

I have come to this Cava many times because of its convenient location, but my experience is always hit or miss. I either walk out very satisfied or unsatisfied. I have had experiences where the staff are very friendly and welcoming. However, other times they are not welcoming at all and the customer service is below average. This day the service was not the best unfortunately . They were also running low or completely out of some toppings in the afternoon, which was disappointing. The portions were a bit small as well. Everything tasted great though. Also, the cashier was very kind and helpful, which was nice! I love Cava, so I will definitely be returning, but it's just disappointing at times.

This location replaced Ian's favorite Pizza place when he was growing up. Darn... I got a bowl to go. Portions size was not in line with the price that was charged. I was starving after this bowl. (-2) They were out of Chicken during my visit. (-1) Employees were very detail in explaining that they were out of Chicken, how the system works, etc. (+1) Good customer service, expensive food. I wanted to try this chain, and I did. Just on the price alone, I would not be returning. Sorry.

Cava has been our favorite go to meal for awhile now but as good as the meal already is, it is so much better when you get the toasted pita chips to eat alongside it! The staff here was patient and able to answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed our dinner here and we will definitely be back !

The employee was really friendly and upbeat, just like the one in Fullerton. She also reminded me about the upcharge for the braised lamb, which is always a kind gesture. The canned water is also great, and I would choose Cava over other fast food and fast casual dining options. The sauces taste just right, a bit tart, and even though I usually don't like food when it's too saucy, I couldn't go without the red pepper hummus and the green stuff. There wasn't much of a line, but I'm sure it gets packed! It looks and feels very clean, so I'm glad they opened last November. I haven't tried any of their drinks yet, but plan to in the near future.

Stopped by on a weekday for a late lunch and it was super busy but so goooood! It did take long to get my food, could be because of the lunch rush but also because it's a new place still trying establish an efficient flow of service. Servers were friendly but definitely stressed due to the crowd, I felt bad. It was difficult to see what the choices were for building your own bowl because they are on the windows separating us from the food and in tiny font. You couldn't see the options until you were already supposed to order so that maybe could've been why the line was getting backed up too. I ended up building my own bowl and here were some of the highlights. -Grilled Chicken: Super flavorful and was good on its own, sauce not necessary! 5/5 -Harissa Dip: It's pretty spicy but very tasty! Kind of tastes like sun dried tomatoes but with a peppery kick. 4/5 -Schug: I wasn't a huge fan of this, too much parsley flavor. I like Luna Grill's better. 2/5 -Pita Chip strips: These added a nice crunch to the soft ingredients of the bowl! 4/5 In regard to presentation... -I do wish they gave more of the dips and put them on the side because they get lost under all the ingredients and get mixed in. You can't really dip pita bread in it. -It's always great having options but it's a little overwhelming at this place! Too many ingredients, you start to get lost in all the various flavors and can't really identify what you're even eating anymore. I'd probably get less ingredients next time. -I had a hard time eating this because it overfilled with so many ingredients, it either spilled when I mixed it or I got too many of one ingredient in the bite because I couldn't mix it properly. Maybe that's a me problem though! Overall, I definitely understand the hype around this place. I really enjoyed my food, the flavors were great even if a bit overwhelming! I hope this new location and the company itself work out their kinks though because it's got so much potential.

My nephew invited me to try this mediterranean salad bar to hangout and it is much much better than Chipotle.. good quantity on the protein servings (got chicken) lots of different toppings you get 3 different sauces though it is a small scoop of sauce but it is 3 different scoop.. you get a free pita bread (a small one) but the salad is delish and on the healthy side. service is satisfactory despite of the other staff busy chit chatting.. ambiance is welcoming very spacious inside and good parking.. will definitely come back.

First time trying this, new restaurant in this shopping center. Build your style, like Chipotle but Mediterranean. I ordered the build your own bowl. I added rice and salad, chicken and vegetables, 3 dips, hummus, crazy feta, and tzatziki, added tomatoes, cucumbers, and corn for toppings. Very flavorful, but just small portions. They had a ton of people working on Saturday night. I would come again, the food is clean and very flavorful, but they cut corners with the portions. read more

Let me start by saying, I really enjoy Cava. My only complaint is that 75% percent of my visits at dinnertime- which occur by 7 pm- include the news that at least one of my chosen ingredients is out. FOR THE NIGHT! They close at 10:30 pm. So for at least three hours of being open, they are out of lentils or roasted vegetables or pickled onions or feta cheese. And when I ask, they don't intend on making any more for the night. This baffles me. I feel like the lentils and roasted vegetables should always be available as mains for vegetarians. It's frustrating. If this is a planning issue, they should probably be prepared for the possible needs of the day. As I said, this happens A LOT. I guess I should learn my lesson and try another Cava. read more

Chipotle is delicious, but if you want to eat something tasty and healthy, I recommend CAVA. The ordering process is similar to Chipotle. You can choose between a bowl or a pita and customize it with the ingredients you want. The drinks are refillable, so you can save money by ordering a small cup. Most of the drinks are fruit-based and taste a bit mild, probably because they don't add sugar. I find them light and refreshing. The garlic dressing and harissa sauce were my favorites. The staff are friendly and polite. The restaurant is spacious and clean. read more

The food here is so fresh and amazing! My first time here was today and I will definitely be back soon. All of the ingredients tasted really well. Also the staff is really nice here, there was a young lady named Cynthia that was patient and kind with me as it was my first time ordering and I had a lot of questions! The lady misled me into thinking more steak was 3.75 but it's actually 7.40. Ended up spending $22 on a bowl for double protein. At chipotle, I'd get a bigger bowl with double meat for $14-15. Cava lacks taste in the meat and the sauce, while at Chipotle you get a big portion for what you pay for. Will not be going back to Cava for a very long time. I've given it way too many chances. If you want a good mediterranean chain, try Luna Grill in Buena Park. They just opened and it is fantastic. Way better service, they give deals in the app unlike Cava, and the meat and sauce are actually really good. And for $22 there, I get a massive plate with two kebabs, 3 pieces of pita (Cava only gives 1), and two big sides compared to Cava's mid sized bowl. read more

I had my first Cava bowl this September and I've gone back at least half a dozen times (probably more) because it's SO good. I really appreciate how fresh and healthy everything feels while being delicious and tasty. Customer service has been great (friendly) as well as quick and efficient. The atmosphere is comparable to Chipotle--minimal, with a food assembly line, and a self service station for drinks and utensils. My go to order is a build your own bowl with basmati rice, half chicken/half veggies, tzatziki dip, traditional humus, cucumbers, picked onions, salt brined pickles, romaine lettuce, and garlic dressing. It may feel a bit expensive for a quick service restaurant, but considering the quantity and taste, Cava is definitely one of my first quick food choices and at the top of my list when I'm looking somewhere for a quick and casual bite. read more

They need to plan better so they always have chicken ready to serve and not have to turn away customers because the chicken isn't cooked yet. We came in on Saturday at about 630 for dinner. We ordered 4 bowls. The so called manager was putting portions as if she was serving a 3 year old kid. One scoop of rice that barely filled the bottom of the bowl, and we didn't get any greens. What made it worst was she had a terrible attitude. They were out of a lot of food. The store was very dirty. Straws and napkins on the floor, tables were dirty, floor was dirty, the drinks were all empty by the fountain machine, and they were out of garlic sauce. We definetly will not be back. read more

Don't be stingy! ..Cava as a whole is amazing! The La Habra store is the reason I gave it 1star. The portions are less then 1/2, the attitude is a turn off, and customer service needs help. I have been to more then a few different Cavas to know how the people should be and how the servings are. It's like they are trying to save money by adding less then 1serving. When I asked for more the blonde girl at the front was annoyed, so was the girl making my non seasoned pita (although she said it was!But why? Am I not paying for my food? This is the second time here and No more! I will drive to BREA next time. Where they great you and there's no questioning or eye rolling. read more

I don't know how good the food is yet because I've been waiting almost a half hour for steak & feta pitas. About 7 people have gone ahead of me. They had one person filling orders. I'm still waiting. This is the closest cava to where I live therefore, I always come here. The only thing I don't understand is how some days my bowl is filled to the top of the lid and then sometimes it's like 3/4 full only. It should always be the same if I'm paying the same price or else weigh your bowls if you're gonna charge me the same for a empty bowl also today I ordered for pick up which said it would be ready at a certain time gave them 15 minutes and when I arrived, they told me to wait another 15 minutes because they were busy read more

This place is slowly turning into chipotle. Stingy with their items. And I found a white hair in my salad, so gross! When they first opened it was great and amazing. But these days, every time I order they barely put the topping or not put the amount I requested on the app order. For $16 a bowl for salad and meat, it's barely filled half way. When I put in my mobile app order, I request double lettuce, onions, corn, since the app allows me too. You can't even call this a salad with the amount of lettuce they barely put in. read more

So nice to have a flavorful healthy option in La Habra. This was our first try after hearing so much about CAVA. We were helped by Aden and Rachel who were both extra helpful since we had no idea how it worked. Honestly the add ons added up really fast but the flavor and freshness was worth it! So I think as we get better at ordering it'll be more cost efficient. Oh and the drink selection was incredible! Do yourself a favor and get the cucumber lime. This locations portion sizes is terrible. I've been to a few different cavas and they at least make sure my bull is full. It's okay to charge the price they do but at least make the portions match what we're paying. It's so disappointing looking at my bowl and it's not even half way filled. I tried giving it a few chances to see if it'd change but it seems to keep getting smaller and smaller save your coins go to chipotle instead read more

Here my go to is usually the lamb Jairo or the lamb chops but lately I've been trying to try different things. I am happy I chose to do this as I have found items that I have loved that I just hadn't tried. I had this year tuna one day and it was really good. It was perfectly cooked and it had a good sauce but the one item that I was honestly surprised was the half roasted chicken. I tend not to order chicken at restaurants because I am worried that the chicken will be dry, but that was definitely not the case here. The chicken was really good and I will definitely get it again. My boyfriend tried it and he wanted to switch dishes, but I absolutely did not allow him to. The chicken was just very juicy and tender. For the sides, I used to always get hummus, but I didn't know that they had an eggplant dip similar to baba ghanoush. Now that I have tried it, it is my go to. You can really taste a roasted eggplant in there and the texture is similar to hummus. My other go to side are the artichoke hearts because they are so big they are roasted and it's a good portion. Overall this remains to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I will be back.

But the Olive Pit isn't going to wow you as much as some of the best Greek restaurants in SoCal.

The service was painfully slow and careless; tables around us were left uncleaned, and when our food arrived, we had no utensils. After asking the food runner and waiting around while our meals got cold, my friend finally had to get up and track down silverware herself. When the waiter finally acknowledged us, he literally threw the utensils onto the table. Then, when we asked for extra napkins, he actually put his hand up to block us and just walked away. I was so shocked by the blatant rudeness that I called for the manager. While the manager apologized and gave us a free dessert, a sweet treat doesn't fix a total lack of professionalism. If employees hate being there that much, they shouldn't be working in hospitality! Management is also to blame by keeping them employed. When reading some of the other reviews, seems like service is really lacking here and the waiters have major attitude problems. The food is always great, but this type of behavior and level of disrespect makes me never want to come back. I will take my money elsewhere.

You probably shouldn't expect ultra high-end, top-tier omakase quality at that range, but overall it was still enjoyable and worth trying at least once.

Where I live, I usually went to the Cava in Whittier about 15-20 mins away. When I saw they were opening a location about 5 mins down the street in the local shopping center I was pretty happy as my first/most recent experiences with the Whittier Cava were great! This Cava has also treated me well so far after a couple visits. The staff has been friendly for the most part, specifically one of their (I think) managers, Jose, was super friendly on my last visit, cracking a good joke and giving me a complimentary drink when I ended up changing my mind after ordering and paying! Leanne and Merida helped prepare the food that day for me and my girlfriend, and both of us were happy with how our bowls came out! The food tasted fresh, the service was good and quick, and the portions were nice--though I will say the portions at this location have been hit or miss; the Whittier location is always thorough with their portions! This location doesn't seem to be super busy that often the couple times I've been--and maybe that's simply due to when I happen to drop by--I'm guessing because it's new or people already have their favored Cava location, so this one isn't as staffed or streamlined as the Whittier one (the Whittier location is my only other Cava reference so far), but I think with a bit of time to get more people coming in, they'll staff a bit more and the quality control mentioned in a couple other reviews will improve to a level that's consistent with their other locations. Overall, my experience over several visits was pretty nice and I'll definitely be back often because of the close location, good service, and of course the delicious food! read more

I visited the new Cava on 11/10/2024 with my wife and daughter, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The portion sizes were quite small--even smaller than what we usually get at Chipotle. The real issue, though, happened at the cash register. After we paid, I noticed that the cashier had a bleeding finger, which had gotten onto my food container and the counter. I pointed it out and asked for a new order, but instead of resolving the issue, he told us we'd have to go back in line to reorder. This felt both unprofessional and unhygienic. We ended up leaving and going to a different restaurant. Later, I tried calling Cava to speak to a manager about a refund, but despite calling multiple times, no one picked up. Cleanliness and customer service don't seem to be priorities here, which is really disappointing. read more

Despite long lines and some pretty rude customers, the team at this CAVA absolutely crushed it. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the staff handled the rush with professionalism, patience, and a great attitude. A huge shoutout to Cam, who went above and beyond. She took the time to recommend options and made sure my Steak & Harissa bowl came out perfect. You can tell she genuinely cares about the food and the customer experience, which made all the difference. Even during a busy rush and impatient customers, the quality, attention to detail, and customer service never slipped. Came in on today on Friday 04/04/25 around 2pm. First time customer and my first time leaving a review. I was told by friends that it gets really busy at lunch but I had gone after lunch so it wasn't too busy, which was great! Tried their lentils, it was super tasty. I will say one of the employees did not leave a good impression on me. She was white and had a hair wrap thing, she was the one on the first station. It wasn't professional of her to scream out very loud to the cook about the lentils being almost empty. Overall, the food was delicious. Variety of selections. The other girl at the end was nice, she recommended delicious dressings for me to try out. I will be coming back to try different things on my bowls. read more

I'm not sure why anyone gets Chipotle anymore. I think the best part about this Cava location is that they have such friendly staff members. It can get overwhelming for them because it gets busy at times but they always have a smile on their face. Even when the customers are being difficult (which I've seen), they always respond with patience and respect. I went today and I think his name was Jose- had such positive energy and was just so kind! They are super generous with their portions which makes the price definitely worth it. Usually go to cava in Whittier was excited to see that they opened one closer to home came here yesterday at about 8;45 and they were already cleaning up to go which was okay but there stuff was very limited and they didn't offer to grab a new one of any toppings the servers were both bothered as if they were doing me a favor as they Served me will definitely not be coming here rather make the drive to Whittier were the service is always great as well as attitude of the people working there..and food was definitely sitting there for a while and chicken and rice seemed under cooked read more

Welp never mind. Went again, ordered a bowl and i only got one half spoon scoop of meat, usually they will give two scoops. when I said something the girl preparing my bowl said we don't do that and said I'd have to pay extra. She rolled her eyes at me too, felt super embarrassed. I was close to just walking out but I only have a 30 min lunch and I had already spent 10 of it in line. Anyway I love cava but not never going back to this location. Oh and also the pita chips I got were stale prob gave me some from the first batch of the day or something. read more

Food is amazing, came in here with my wife for lunch for the first time. Heidi on the protein station was super kind and guided us with which proteins were an extra charge. Great concept and very popular! This store is struggling a bit to figure it out. Most often they run out of food and dressings. It's messier than the other two locations I go to.
