This review is for LV. We are currently living in a time where great customer service is on the decline, so to have a pleasant experience, I do not take for granted. The store appeared to be short staffed and there was a bit of a hold up when I went in yesterday, but employees like LV make it worth the wait. She had impeccable customer service, was personable, friendly, and helpful. I couldn't decide between lamb meatballs and braised lamb, (I usually order falafel or steak) she suggested the braised lamb and OMG this is my new fave. I love when employees are knowledgeable about the dining selections and honest if they don't know something; LV fit the knowledgeable dime. customer service was awful. everything was fine, i placed a pick up order. I showed up to the cava, went up to the counter (last time i was at this cava i went up to check if my pick up order was completed early and it was, so i did the same thing again). coming into this cava, you already feel like the workers don't want to be there. i went up, didn't interrupt whatever the team member at the counter was doing (she didn't even acknowledge me, no "i'll be right with you" or "give me a quick minute" ) she finished whatever she was doing and finally acknowledged me after a while and this is when i had asked if my order was ready. she checked the bags, wasn't there so i assumed it wasn't ready which is totally fine. she went to ask the line of workers working the pick ups and one of the workers grabbed the ticket that had my order on it, came back to the counter where i'm at, looked at her colleague who had asked for the order, placed the ticket down, looking at her and tapped at the promise time in a condescending way, shaking her head. My apologies for checking a bit early, i know i should've waited for the promise time (but it doesn't hurt to check), but i shouldn't have to face the bitterness of some workers. the overall attitude really makes things worse. read more

I genuinely hate this location. The attitude and service is terrible. There are no visible sign on where to order when you walk in. You'll have to guess and go to opposite side of the register. And if you are picking up an online order like I was, good luck! Three people asked me have I been helped and I said no but I'm picking up an online order and then they walked away. They did not asked me for my name to check. They just walked away. Slowly they called the online orders. I was the last one left. I walked over to where the register was and leaned in to look. I saw my order and told the worker "excuse me that's my order right there." The girl looked and handed over to me. I'm so glad this location opened up. I used to drive to Culver City from Hollywood just for my Cava fix. The Staff here is friendly, food is healthy, tasty and it's a quick in and out. Love this place, I'm here at least 2x per week, so much that I know a few of the staff's names by heart (they used to wear name tags and I have photographic memory.) I usually get the bowl with either Falafel or if I'm in the mood for meat, either the chicken or the lamb. Garlic sauce is a tasty addition. The colors of the food is so vibrant. Stopped to get my monthly Cava order for dinner. I was greeted upon entry by Preston, who also took my order. I arrived at the right time because there was only one person in front of me. Normally when I go to Cava its a long line but definitely worth the wait. Preston was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and made suggestions when I wasn't sure of what I wanted. I'm glad I listed because the shug with the Pita chip was amazing and now a part of my usual order. My portion sizes were just right. Definitely better than Chipotle. I don't like too much but don't too little. All items were available and samples were offered. At checkout Arius assisted me and made sure my order was correct and all items bagged. I went to get my drink and had a casual conversation with another employee (didn't get him name). Her recommended the lavender drink and it was delicious. Tried Cava for the first time today via UE as I just found out there's a location near me. I orderded the Harissa Avocado bowl. It was good but nowhere near healthy and not suitable for eating daily due to the super high sodium content of 2060 grams (daily limit is 2000 grams and as petite person under 100 lbs I should eat less than 2000 grams due to my small stature), also has 12 grams of saturated fat and I keep my intake of sat fats under 10 g daily. And tbh, it is a bit too salty; I can literally taste the salt. I can afford to eat this amount of salt once in awhile because I have low blood pressure, work out a lot and am very healthy but I know consuming this amount of sodium on a regular basis would NOT be good for me. Way too much salt. To be healthy, it needs to be low in sodium and sat fats... not just be "Mediterranean" with an insanely high sodium count! High sodium increases blood pressure and increases your risk of heart disease and heart issues. It's bad for you!!!!! I can only eat here regularly if I order my own bowl (their "build your own" "salad bowl" option with RAW GREENS, aragula, super greens, cabbage only (nothing that is sauteed) with protein on top but their chicken seems a bit salty too. When I cook at home I can adjust the sodium levels and I never add sodium to chicken. I eat mainly for longevity and health, not for taste. The pre-made bowl I got (Harissa) was incredible, but again, just a treat. It's not healthy on a regular basis due to the fat and sodium content. The "build your own" option is a necessity for those who are TRULY health conscious and even them, convenient but not necessarily the healthiest. I am also not positive if they use 100% olive oil for chicken or if its a mix of olive and sunlower or canola. When I cook at home I only use premium EVOO with a super high polyphenol content and NEVER use seed oils. I enjoy ordering out but I always feel it's not as healthy as what I could get if I cook at home because I don't add in extra sodium and I can control the sat fat content. I will eat SweetGreen across the street instead because although SG is not perfect, I feel its way healthier. Way less sodium for one and way less sat fats. If you have hypertension or want to have a healthy heart, I would avoid tbh. This amount of sodium is just not good. Sweet Green across the street has less sodium and even so, it still has more sodium than what I would use if I were to cook at home. I am very picky and just want healthy good food that is TRULY healthy, low in sodium, low in sat fats and NO SEED OILS IN DRESSINGS OR COOKING. EEVO only. read more

To put it plain and simple, this is the WORST cava I have ever stepped foot in. I walk in and head to the restroom, then some worker who knows what their name was since they didn't have a name tag on, stepped infront of me and blocked my way to the restroom and said I had to be a customer before using the restroom. How would they know if I was or wasn't going to buy something after using the restroom? Just straight up assuming the worst of the customers. Funny part is there is no sign around the story or near the restrooms saying that they are for customers only. Whatever I ended up buying a brownie since it was the closest thing and then make my way to the restroom. When I walk in I am greeted with the most horrendous and disgusting restroom I have ever seen, the mcdonald's down the street has better restrooms. The restrooms didn't even have toilet paper, after making me pay to use the restroom you would assume they would at least provide toilet paper. read more

This place is very popular and for good reason. I wish they had a fish option, as I am pescatarian (usually) but the vegetarian option was really good. I really enjoyed my bowls I've had there. Nothing really bad to say about the food besides the super small protein portions.. what I'm here to say is the ridiculous long lines. Wastes a whole lot of time, this time (in the picture) it took about 30 minutes. Thats just nuts. Thats not fast food to me. Workers are struggling to keep up, I'm guessing the simple solution to this is just hire more workers. Nothing bad to say about the employees as well, they're getting their jobs done but just have too much hungry customers. But I heard a lot of good things about it and how it was good value, friendly service and something quick and convenient. unfortunately the only good thing that I can say was that the food was actually fairly good. (albeit cold) but was able to microwave it when I got home) was it worth $17? I don't know you tell me.. see attached image. first and foremost I ordered on the app so ordered ahead at 9:15pm the promised time on the receipt states 930pm no problem at all. I arrive at 9:35 PM and proceeded to wait for my food until 9:55 PM. the staff was very dismissive and when I asked if I could get an extra side of dressing, the girl who was at the counter said oh I'm sorry we don't have anymore of that. instead of arguing, I just said OK and took my food and left upon opening it.
