Love cava! We were in the area today 5/23 and decided to stop by when they opened. Very clean location and was able to find parking right up front. Only complaint is they didn't have half of the toppings which was kinda odd. I think it's better to let people know up front instead of waiting until they get to the toppings section which is right before you check out.

It was my first time at CAVA and I would recommend if it's your first time, to order a bowl odd the menu rather than a build your own (BYO) since it's difficult to predict how the flavor combinations will work together, especially since there are so many things to choose -- a bit overwhelming. But alas, I did a BYO and there were more sour flavors and not enough salty and sweet to balance. I wish it was clearer that when you order half a serving of a protein that has extra cost, they will charge you the full amount (as if you got a whole serving). Perhaps next time will be better.

I love you CAVA, please come to the Bay Area! I always describe this as a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but better. Although it's a casual/takeout chain restaurant, the food and service have never missed for me. This is a non-negotiable must have for me every time I'm in SoCal. My go to is Supergreens and Splendidgreens mixes, grilled chicken, Tahini Caesar dressing, hummus, fiery broccoli, corn, persian cucumbers, feta, tomato and cucumber, and a side pita. Their falafel and spicy lamb meatballs are also quite good!

Millie, Taia, and Richard the dream team over at Cava helped in fulfilling my lunch order today. Their energy was great and it made me that much more excited for my meal! I ordered the BYO bowl with Harissa Honey Chicken. Chicken was juicy, tender and has a great lil kick to it. I'm the type that loves a colorful bowl so I get all the toppings. Such a plus that Cava gives you unlimited toppings! My absolute fav dressings are the yogurt dill and garlic. Millie also let me try out their skhug and that one might make it all the way to the top of my list as well. All of them are rich, creamy and perfect for any bowl or wrap. Thank you guys at Cava for the amazing service, I am a happy and returning customer for this specific location!

I fell in love with Cava while I was in Atlanta. This LA location didn't disappoint. I just wrapped up with an event across the street, and needed to grab a bite. The parking situation was a nightmare, and I had no idea where to park. There was a garage attached to the building, but the attendant said you can't park there for Cava. The workers did seem ever so slightly annoyed that I didn't know what I wanted. I had only been to one in Atlanta, and it had been a while, so I was still unfamiliar with the bowls. Anyway, it was still delicious. I do wish the bowls were crafted in a way where you can see where things are. My bowl felt like it was missing something for there to be a savory/sweet balance the whole time I was eating, and then I got to this last part that had a huge chunk of some sort of garlic-y paste that I would've distributed more evenly if I saw it. The corn pretty much covered everything, but I guess they expect you to just mix it all before you eat. Anyway, the location was super clean. Service was super quick. And there are plenty of beverages to choose from. I'll definitely come back.

Travel plans had me passing through LAX on my way back to MSP, and to my surprise, I found myself right next to a CAVA! Let's just say ... goodness in a bowl. I ordered my usual: the Steak & Harissa Bowl (minus the tomatoes) and it was everything. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. CAVA really knows how to deliver bold, satisfying flavors in a fast-casual setting. If you have a CAVA near you, run, don't walk. Unfortunately, Minneapolis hasn't caught on yet ... either they're missing the memo or CAVA is being a little stingy about expanding. Either way, I'll be patiently waiting (and maybe secretly hoping they set up shop in MN soon)!

We came in after picking up our bib from diplo running club across the street and I wish we didnt come here today. They have 2 doors and 1 was locked so we walked towards the one on the side, before walking in this lady slammed the door open for me then walked away.. thanks i guess? She really didnt have to do that lol. The service was so terrible the worker making our food acted like his job was so hard scooping hummas. Are you really that lazy??? Is working here really a drag?? I honestly started to feel so bad for the employees. Is it that miserable working here? Smh or maybe this attitude is just an LA thing. I would much rather walk a few buildings over to chipotle

I had such a great experience at CAVA today. Parking was super easy, the restaurant was clean, and even the bathrooms were spotless which already set a good tone. The food was amazing (as always), but what really made this visit stand out was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was patient, friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. A special shout-out to Manny, who went above and beyond for my son. He took his time walking him through the menu, explaining different options, and making him feel comfortable instead of rushed. As a mom, I appreciated that more than anything. It's not often you find great food and exceptional service in one place, but CAVA delivered. We'll definitely be back!

My daughter took me to Cava, which was my first time. The food was so good! I told the food server that this was my first time at Cava and he was very helpful, along with my daughter helping me. Tried the Balsamic chicken bowl and the downside is the grilled chicken is on the salty side. Not sure I'd get this bowl again because overall too salty. Friendly service in this newly opened space that reminds me of Sweetgreen. Very limited street parking. read more

with this location being so close to my work, I've frequent it many many times this year unfortunately this is the third time that I have purchased the same bowl that I always do and gotten something completely different. This time the order that was put into my bag for Uber delivery were two separate items and I'm not allowed to have either one of them due to allergies. Not sure if this is a malicious weaponized incompetence situation or if the closing team genuinely hates their paying customers so much that they would sabotage a delivery order. But for paying almost 40$ in food you would think the supervisors would check each order for delivery or pickup to prevent issues. Regardless avoid this location at all cost . read more

Always a fan of Cava! I like their self serve bowls because they give you a good selection of veggies. Chicken and falafel are included but everything else is an additional charge minus one star for that. The server I got was patient enough to walk me through choices so that was nice of her! I like how spacious the restaurant is, there's a lot of seating and I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Ordered a power grain bowl from here 2 days ago and was in so much pain from that same bowl the next day. Never had this issue eating Mediterranean food. Also they didn't put all sauces on side as requested. After googling my pain all day, I found this post warning of faulty food handling practices that is prominent across CAVA brand. Quite literally the worst place. Food is good, but speed and service is absolutely awful. I have been here six times and not a single time have I had a good experience. Always lying about food being ready, constantly running out of food, and mixing up ingredients from different orders. I don't ever leave reviews but this time I was very disappointed. I wanted my best friend to try Cava for the time and the service we received was terrible! The workers had a nasty attitude and were rushing to make our plate when it was only me and her in there. Before I got to choose my next item the girl would close my plate. My first visit ever at a Cava and the service at this Sunset Cava was exceptional. LV walked me through the process and made some fantastic recommendations. If I had to base this on food only , I think it's delicious and it would be a 5 star. However, the service is so painfully slow and they don't have enough people working here. I even ordered ahead of time and they still didn't have my order on time. Just make sure you expect that you are going to get your order after they tell you it will be done. read more

If you come here, order this. The pork belly bun was my personal favorite. The braised pork belly practically melted in my mouth, and everything was seasoned beautifully. Simple, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. The pan-fried pork buns were the only disappointment. The filling felt underseasoned, and the bottoms lacked the crispy crust I was hoping for. They were fine, but not something I would order again. The beef noodle soup was solid. The broth was excellent, with a depth of flavor and spice profile that I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the beef shank was overcooked and a bit too dry (乾) for my liking. For dessert, we had the Hakka mochi. It was served warm, pleasantly chewy, and not overly sweet. It was a nice way to end the meal and made me curious to try some of their other desserts next time. This was overall a fantastic meal. The portions are very generous you get to pick as many toppings as you want there was a long line but it didn't take too long to get through the food was very delicious I didn't have room to finish my bowl it is very filling. Their yogurt dill dressing is delicious! Service was very friendly. while the service might not be the best, unfortunately at most cava's its pretty bad but the food is great and the prices are very fair. Doesnt matter if I go this one or the one in pasadena by my family I can rely on quality consistent mediterranean food.
