Amaya and Kylie are by far and away the kindest people I've seen work there and they go out of their way to make sure we're taken care of. That's saying a lot because they're all friendly. My only issue this time is Cava at this location has been out of one or two things lately like meat or pita options, or their food quality is off. For instance, I ordered a bowl with lentils and they looked unusually dry. The two ladies reassured me by bringing me a batch of brand new lentils on the side, in case the initial one they gave me some tastes good, which was very nice of them. When I ate it home. The lentils were HARD. Wouldn't surprise me if they were raw because I've never had near solid lentils, it was very unusual. This was a Monday early evening order, so it wasn't the fact I arrived near closing. This review is based on cleanliness. We came on Sunday 4/4/2025 around 1 pm and the tables, chairs, and bathrooms were filthy. The tables are filthier than a public park bench- the photo attached shows the table after I wiped it down with a wet towel. All the tables around us looked the same. The bathroom was also disgusting. Although we like the food here, it was hard to eat today looking at the dirt around me. You can build your own bowl or pita, I choose to build my own bowl with lentils, brown rice and arugula, traditional hummus, crazy feta and tzatziki, roasted veggies and falafel as the protein, they were out of a lot of stuff but the tomato and cucumber, fiery broccoli and cabbage slaw were a good combo. Topped off the bowl with garlic dressing and skhug sauce. The order comes with a slice to warm pita, you can add the pita chips and drink for $6. Their cucumber mint lime was so good but not sweet. However, the most noticeable issue here is that the store is disgustingly dirty. Food everywhere, things on the floor, odor, employees look unkept. This is the second time I have been to Cava, the first time was in Chino Hills, and I have to say there is a difference in the locations. Food is exactly the same, but the environment, at least in this location is quite dirty. The tables are all dirty , trash on the floor, bathroom out of towels. I hope it isn't just that The Chino Hills Location is newer. Either or that was one of the first disappointments. After wiping down the table with my own sanitizing wipes we were able to go through the queue to order our food. Food I would say is quite the same, but I think it is the proportions or how the people out the food in. Don't get me wrong, the workers seem to be nice, but for example, there was a lot of toppings but barely any rice and vege base. The drink section some of the milk and chocolates were knocked over to a side. The kids meal we had, they just put everything into the pita w the sauce on top, while the other location asked me if I wanted it on the side. Just little things like that, that changed the experience for me and my family. It is located inside a plaza so there is plenty of parking available, except it might be hard during the lunch rush since a lot of people enjoys this place. It is a small store, but could fit small groups of people for dine in. Recommend doing a build your own bowl, because that's my go to and I enjoy customizing my meal with things I like. Also, they include a free pita bread on the side. It has healthy food because they include vegan options and protein rice called right rice as examples. Price is reasonable around $13 and it is good enough for me for 2 meals, but for some it is just right for one meal. I always come here after work, but the past 2-3 times I was served by this tall male worker with longer orange colored hair & piercings & every time I have came there, he is super rude towards me & speaks in a derogatory tone, talking to me like I'm stupid. This was honestly one of the pettiest customer service experiences I've ever had. Three staff members were involved, and the behavior was unbelievable. One of them was named Jo and the other one was wearing a blue bandanna, they were giving me constant attitude rolling their eyes, making faces at each other every time I asked a simple question, and acting like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. The $17 Harissa Avocado (and other) bowls are falsely advertised on Cava's website and are half filled. The "free" pita bread is often missing. The drink for the Kids meal was missing twice (and would've been a 3rd time, but my husband insisted they look at the incoming order to confirm what we already KNEW..and paid for). Originally we wanted to go to Soup 'N Fresh, but there was a ridiculously long line so came here instead. This place is like the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. There was a long line to order your food here too. My friend and I ordered the Build Your Own Bowl. You can choose the type of grains, veggies, meats, toppings, and dressings for it. I ordered half chicken and half falafel with super greens, various toppings, and a garlic dressing. It was delicious! The shift lead had to track down the person who was supposed to make my food, and another employee loudly said, "She's in the bathroom." Not something a customer should hear. They pulled someone from the kitchen to help, but he rushed me through my order, tried to add ingredients without asking, and even dropped an entire set of containers while hurrying. To make it worse, he made a flirtatious comment to a coworker right in front of customers. The whole staff seemed frantic and distracted. However, I will note that the workers don't really seem welcoming. Today, I ordered online because I had just gotten off work and wanted to fix my craving. I show up a few minutes after it said my order was ready, there is one girl helping the couple at the register, but there are three other girls just standing there. Two of them were talking to each other and it seemed like the other one was finishing up other online orders, not in any rush. I waited for several minutes before the girl doing the online orders, without even greeting me by the way, asked what my name was for the order. She then handed me the bag, and I politely asked if I could get a pita that I had also ordered, and without a word, she reached into a bowl and dropped it in my bag and then walked away. I was here for their pre-grand opening last summer but haven't really been back until I was able to convince my husband to try it. He's been asking for healthier options but was under the impression that their bowls were so small and wouldn't fill him up. We ordered from their set menu (Harissa Avocado and Greek Salad) and my husband makes a couple alterations to his. Some of their menu items are just okay. We enjoyed them and the next thing you know he wanted to come again. The next time we got another bowl from their menu Chicken+RightRice. The first two times we ordered in person. Depending on who is in front of you, it can be a slow process as people can be indecisive. So it's become a thing now where my husband asks if I want Cava for dinner during the week days. The next three times I've ordered on the app and he will pick it up on the way home from work. We finally got it down now and order custom Greens + Grains bowls and the toppings to our liking . The bowls are yummy and actually very filling. Now I'll order from the app and we go there to pick up and will eat on their outdoor patio which is also dog friendly by the way. On average for two bowls, I'll spend about $27-$28 (no drinks) which isn't too bad considering we're spending over $40 for two people these days at other places with inflation. Sometimes the garbage outside is overflowing and they need to wipe down the drink station and tables more often so they may be short-staffed but overall we've received friendly service. read more

The food is consistently good where everything is fresh, I keep coming back because of that. That said, I'm really disappointed with the service, especially when it comes to online orders. During busy hours (especially dinner time), things get completely backed up. Lines are long, online orders are delayed, and the whole process just feels chaotic. Honestly, it might be worth closing or limiting online orders during peak hours to help the staff manage the in-store demand better. It's frustrating to wait in line only to see the crew overwhelmed trying to fulfill both walk-ins and a flood of digital orders. Hopefully, management steps in soon to figure out a better system. Zero respect for military/veterans. I used to be able to consistently receive the first responder discount here, which made me a regular as a disabled veteran on a fixed income. The last time I came, I was denied by a very rude and uncaring manager. Today, I saw no managers present, but I was still told by employees that the policy had changed to police only, and that they didn't want to get in trouble. I don't blame them, but it's interesting how an ICE agent who can spend all day terrorizing our community and abducting the people that make this country function, then go home every night to his family, can receive the discount, but someone like me that served overseas and came home with extensive physical injuries and PTSD, can't. read more

My experience is based on a pickup order, so it's a little limited. The employees aren't overly welcoming, but they're nice enough. From what I can tell, they do move through the line pretty quickly. They were busy, but the online orders were still prepared on time. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Restrooms are available. Parking is not an issue thanks to the large shared lot with Seafood City. They offer a wide variety of options, so I believe most diets will be able to find something here. The food is pretty tasty; although, I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had. The sauces do a lot of the heavy lifting. Their drinks are very subtle in flavor, but I prefer that. Prices are fair, more so if you order in person - the in-person orders were packed with much more food than the online orders. Bad service, all the workers seemed annoyed when ordering & even said they might run out of an item, told us it was enough and a full portion even though it seemed like a scoop of leftovers. The meats were all bland even after covered in sauce and for the price of almost $20 a bowl, it's definitely not worth it. The line was almost out the door since they prioritize takeout orders.
