My wife and I visited tonight at around 5:30pm. Immediately as we walked up we noticed the glass doors full of handprints. Already we had a ba feeling. We walked in to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am sad to report the inside was a mess too. The tables hadn't been cleaned and the cement floors were dirty with stains. The stains didn't appear to be recent either. The line was backed up about 12 customers with 2 girls working the front. We decided to walk out and eat elsewhere. We ate there about 2 months ago and this issue wasn't as bad but there were some signs. Anyhow we hope Cava can get this under control. They are far better than Chipotle and we'd rather eat there. read more

This place is heading the same way as chipotle famous serving. Went yesterday for the first time and was excited to try it out, but was left disappointed. I ordered a build your own bowl and the majority of it was greens and rice. The rice had no flavor at all. When we got to the protein stop I asked for chicken and the lady scooped the chicken and shakes the remaining off if it was above the scoop. I asked if I could get more and she said for two scoops it would be more it was company policy. I told her the previous employee was being more generous with his scooping and she did not care. So I basically payed $16 for a bowl of spinach and rice with a drizzle of chicken scraps. read more

The restaurant is filthy. All the time. Every table is dirty, inside and outside the restaurant. The soda machine always has ice pilled up at the bottom. The food is good but the cleanliness of the place is disturbing. read more

This was our first time trying as we don't have a location near us in riverside(hopefully one day). We downloaded the app and ordered ahead of time to bring back to our friends place who lives close by, this was all of our first time trying and we were not disappointed! We each tried something different as we all have different taste. The food is so flavorful, tastes very fresh, and we got full. They're a little pricey so this will only be a once in a while place for us but it's so delicious! Location is convenient and accessible. I was repeatedly told this place is similar to Chipotle so I thought to finally try it. I figured the portions and prices would be comparable to Chipotle, but I was wrong. I ordered the wrap with falafel which I rate 6.5/10. I wish they had a plant based alternative. Online ordering is completely pointless and a mess. We waited for our online order for almost an hour past the promised time. No apologies, no updates, just kept us waiting and waiting. When we first arrived there was no one in line, so we could gone through the line multiple times. Not worth the hassle, I'd rather go to Luna grill or panini kabob next time. With the help of the first goddess (she had glasses on), I ordered a build-your-own bowl, half balsamic rice half arugula with falafel & chicken, a bunch of delicious toppings the most delicious ... the pickled onions topped with crunchies!! DEZ at the register was so sweet and helpful she provided us with such great service and checked in on us afterward. She really made us feel so taken care of and was so welcoming! I LOVED the outside seating option!! That was actually the reason I opted to dine in, because of the outside seating! knocked off a star due to the fact that i feel like their customer service can use a little upgrade. we placed an online order & arrived at the time the email said it would be ready -- don't go off of that time & rush to get there if you place an online order, you'll most likely be disappointed. we ended up getting our food maybe an extra 30 mins after which okay, i understand if they're busy however there wasn't a long line like you'd usually expect here. the team member working the online orders just looked like he did not want to work that day & worked fairly slow so that was bit frustrating as we waited to our food. cherry on top was finding out as we pulled out of the shopping center that he forgot to add the dressings i requested on the side. the food -- i loved it. it's sooo fresh & such a good change up from other similar chains with this concept. i built my own salad bowl & everything blended so well together. i got SuperGreens, Grilled Chicken, Fire Roasted Corn, Pickled Onions, Persian Cucumber, Pita Crisps, & Lemon Herb Tahini, Balsamic Date Vinaigrette, Red Pepper Hummus on the side. their pita chips are so good as well. the saltiness is a good pallet cleanser from the salad. it would be a complete 5 stars from me if the customer service experience went different but it's okay, everyone's allowed a bad day. hopefully it'll be a more friendlier ambiance next time we stop by! read more
