My mom and I had a greens and grain bowl with a pita on the side. My mom had the grilled steak, and I had the chicken. We both really enjoyed our entrees. It is fabulous that they have so many choices of sauces. They have a good variety that you can really try something different each time. Everything was very fresh, and it was also filling as well. I was surprised to see so many customers, or perhaps it was a group of people from an organization or something. The food, however, is great, and I'll be back to try other sauces!

I ordered a salad bowl online and specifically said asked for no chicken. I attached the online order for this review. When I got home and opened the order, it's filled with chicken. For medical reasons, I can't eat chicken. The people who made my order clearly didn't read it at all or completely disregarded it. I can only imagine what this place would do if someone was trying to avoid a life threatening allergy. This was a waste of my time and money.

The tiny piece of salmon they are calling a filet.

Could not believe the salmon they were serving that they called a "filet". I never leave reviews unless the food is really bad or really good and this time it's really bad. Charging $4.25 for the salmon, and they gave me salmon on ozempic. -1

Been to the location near Aliana a couple of times since their opening. Food wise a lot of variety compared to other similar places - variety of toppings, sauces and main dish choices. However I felt the portions were small compared to their competitor nearby even if you chose to add extra rice for an example. Customer service is good, got my order quick and the employees were courteous in each visit. I have not eaten inside however decent amount of space between inside and outside. Very clean atmosphere as well. It's a good alternative if you went to other places that offered similar style of food though it felt a bit pricey for the small portions.

I frequent this location often since I work across the street. The food is always fresh, and the restaurant is SO clean; tables, floors, and the drink station are always immaculate. Glory, who works the front, is awesome. She is so fast and friendly!

went to @cava, I am a fan of rice bowls as it is, wanted to give theirs a try. they have multiple bowl options on the menu, and an option to make your own, I went with the make your own. since this place is not halal, so my meal here was all vegetarian. so my bowl consisted of Saffron Rice, Harissa, Red Pepper Hummus, Roast Veggies, Falafel, Fiery Broccoli, Pickled Onions, Olives, Tomato's & Cucumbers, Pita Crisps, topped with Hot Harissa Vinegarette and Skhug Sauces. Overall the good was amazing, generous portion size, very flavorful, the harissa had a kick to it. it just all went well together. definitely a great spot to check out.

Having dined at this place four times now, I can attest to the fact that their pita and salad bowls are truly delightful. The flavors are consistently excellent, and each visit has left me satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. While some have noted concerns about portion sizes, I found them adequate, especially considering the rich flavors. However, where this establishment falls short is in its customer service. On each visit, I experienced frustratingly slow service. The staff seemed unprepared to answer basic questions and often spoke in such low voices that communication was difficult. During busy periods, they appeared overwhelmed and inefficient, leading to long wait times even for simple tasks like warming up pita bread. Moreover, the cleaning of tables was haphazard at best, with staff seemingly oblivious to the need for prompt attention after a group left. Overall, the pace of service was sluggish, detracting from the overall dining experience. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant's popularity speaks volumes about the quality of its food. It's evident that many patrons are willing to overlook the service issues in favor of the delicious cuisine. However, if the establishment hopes to retain its customer base and attract new patrons, significant improvements in staff training and efficiency are essential. In conclusion, while the food at this restaurant is undeniably excellent, the lackluster service leaves much to be desired. Amazing service. There's always a line. Just when there's about 2 people left in the line, more people start coming in. Well-lit, clean, simple and modern atmosphere. There's also some outdoor seatings to enjoy. Side note, some customers don't know how to clean up after themselves so for god sake... toss out your trash when you're done so others can use the table/chairs to dine-in! For those whose never been to Cava. You go in the line, choose between building your bowl and/or pita wrap or choose from the menu (refer to my menu photos). Build your own bowl/pita wrap starts at $11.25. Some proteins (such as Harissa Honey Chicken) are extra. It's almost like Chipotle, Halal Guys, Gyro King, and Piada where you pick what you want in your bowl/pita wrap but Mediterranean style. Healthier option than many American fast food restaurants. Drinks are made in the house but there's also typical soda fountain options. Food was delicious! You get 1-2 scoops of each item, depending who is in charge of which station. It doesn't matter what you pick to be honest. I haven't had any bad choices. Meats are at room temperature. You can ask dip and sauce on the sides; I always opt to have the sauce on the sides. The speed of the line will vary, depending on prior customers. But no worries, the staffs are friendly. For all you tree-nut and peanut allergens, none of their sauce/dips contain any peanuts/tree-nuts!!! Yay. Although I don't have a tree-nut/peanut allergy, it's a pain and I totally understand.

I have been a fan of CAVA. I used to go there in Austin. I usually build my own bowl, but the harissa avocado bowl ($15.15) seemed to include everything I'd normally get. (Harissa honey chicken, feta, crazy feta, hummus, avocado (half an avocado!), corn, cucumber, pickled onions (yum!), basmati rice, greens, harissa vinaigrette.) Seems a bit pricey but it is a large portion. It was 2 small meals for me. Bf ate his whole bowl though. I got the harissa vinaigrette (red sauce) on the side because it's spicy! Build your own starts at $11.25. I'm not sure when this location opened but it seems new and it's pretty busy. The line was long but it moved fast. I did see a lot of people take it to-go or pick-up. Parking was a little challenging too (i parked close to Whataburger) . There was enough seating inside though, and there were some tables outside.

I've waited for months for my local Cava restaurant to open and today is the day. The Mediterranean styled eatery is one of my favorite places for healthier fast food options. As with most Cava locations, the restaurant is very bright with lots of windows and natural lighting. The staff behind the counter is friendly, patient and efficient with keeping the line moving. I especially enjoy having both gains and greens to select for "build your own bowl". My choice today was half and half chicken (spicy and roasted) which is always great. This is simply the first of many more visits.

Came back to update my review and give 2 more additional stars. I come here quite frequently. Maybe 4- 5 times a week after the gym. I'd say the service has gotten so much better . Portioning also improved which is greatly appreciated . read more

This was my first time ever at a Cava. The service was second to none. I came around 1:40 pm and it was incredibly busy. I ordered ahead, online. Glory individually asked everyone who was waiting for their name for their online/mobile order, checked on the progress, updated us and offered us a lemonade since it would be a few more minutes. She proceeded to deliver each order to each person who had been waiting once it was ready and she was as cleaning tables, taking orders, and helping deliver online/mobile orders all at the same time. Overall, this was a great experience and I look forward to coming back. read more

DO NOT USE THE APP TO ORDER IF YOU WANT IT MADE RIGHT. missed a lot of items in my bowl that i requested on the app (4 things to be exact). seems like small portions for even just the base. just go inside to order bc otherwise they'll skimp on everything or not even give you what you wanted update: confirmed if you go inside and order at the counter they do give you better portions than online orders. staff are friendly and usually accommodating read more

The food quality is great and the location is clean. However, during my recent visit, I had a very unpleasant experience at checkout. When I handed the cashier a $20 bill, she immediately asked if I had another one. When I questioned if there was an issue with the bill I gave her, she explained they had been receiving counterfeit bills lately. I found it extremely rude and unprofessional to be treated as though I was handing over fake money before even testing it. This was a disappointing experience and reflects very poor customer service. read more

Please train the grumpy man -child at the order pick up some manners ! He doesn't greet you when the window opens , he just STARES. I told him my name , he retrieved my food , handed it to me . I said thanks - he turned quick and walked away. Put him on dishes or the grill bc his attitude is very distasteful. This was not the first time . Everyone else is always nice and polite. Never had problems with the food . read more

Food is fresh and really good! Many choices to choose from so you can change it up everytime you visit. But the review is more for Lauren the girl behind the counter making the food. If I were the manager I would want half a dozen just like her. She made choice suggestions that were great! I've been a customer at CAVA since they opened at Waterview and was always pleased with my order: I order harissa avocado and I tell them with little modification. Today, to my surprise, I'm told that if I wanted few springs (not a big scoop) of arugula with the power greens they'd charged extra $1.45!!! Dumbfounded, I asked when they implemented this because I literally was there this past Monday and I had heard of no such extra cost. Just warning for everyone who orders there, of the hidden cost. Apparently they've implemented a system where if you ask for anything extra beyond their set menu.. will cost you. read more

I went for the first time this week and was given the portion of a child for a bowl that costed $17.75 (w/o tax). She gave me half a scoop of rice, when I asked for more she said it would be extra...the braised lamb meat was measured in a small dressing cup and literally put 2 tiny pieces of meat and threw it in my bowl. I asked to please put the toppings (cucumbers /tomatoes) on the side, and she didn't want to do that. Extremely disappointed as we were excited to have a Cava nearby. read more

Dressing missing as usual from cava which makes the rest of the salad not even enjoyable. This seems to be an ongoing thing with cava no matter the location. The dressing requested on the side is the way they mess up orders. Then majority of my avocado that I had to pay extra for was brown. Nothing should be messed up on a 17.00 salad that I could easily make at home. Two I don't know who's worse them or chipotle when it comes to answering the phone to report an issue. It's a main number that just rings. This place really needs to get their shit together. read more

I went today. Food was good however the same lady ringing you up on the register is the same lady finishing your bowl. Which I get it you can multitask. However she's been wearing the same gloves for every transaction. Which at one point in the same gloves she wiped the counter and took a guest phone to assist with mobile app issues she then goes over grabs a piece of pita and pushed it into the paper sleeve. Can you imagine all the cross contamination that takes place in that kitchen if staff is so careless when it comes to food safety. When it got to my turn for her to finish my bowl I asked if she had new gloves she seemed bothered by that and kinda just ignored me and continued with preparing my order. I gave the pita to my dog since she felt the need to fondle it before stacking it on top of my bowl. I definitely think management needs to work on retraining their employees on proper food safety and hygiene. Because food allergies are real and this could end in a cross contamination issue. read more

They put both mayo & mustard on their burgers. The hickory burger was ok. You couldn't really taste the bbq sauce. Tots were cooked extra crispy. Luckily that's how I like them but most customers probably would've preferred less crispy; like my husband. The crinkle fries were also a little too crispy for husband. Not too crispy for me. Overall the meal wasn't bad. It's what you'd expect for a small family grill. Fairly priced for the economy we are in. Two combo burger meals ran us $30.

Lastly, when we were leaving, someone was mopping the walkway and left puddles of water in the walk, which posed a slip hazard for our group of elderly individuals. When we told a server about the water in the walkway, she told us that she knew it was wet, because she just mopped it. Not an answer you want to hear. All in all, a very unimpressive experience.

We came on a deal day for the 2/$5 margaritas, and when I tell you they were strong... they were STRONG *and* delicious. Definitely did not disappoint From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with amazing service. Our server was super accommodating, especially since our group ordered a little bit of everything--from quesadillas to fajitas. Everything came out great, and no complaints at all. I wish we had taken pictures, but we were too busy actually enjoying the moment and having a good time--which honestly says everything you need to know. Overall, the food, the service, and the vibe were all on point. We will definitely be back soon!

I'm not sure why we haven't visited this place sooner but my husband saw a photo of a dish online…read morethat made us want to give it a try. We were immediately offered a sample of their soft serve margaritas. I'm not usually a big margarita fan but it was delicious! We ordered queso and 4 entrees and everything came out quickly and was delicious. My daughter and I were especially pleased with the carnitas. Miriam was our server and she was so sweet and attentive. We really had a lovely night. We didn't save any room for dessert but the manager brought us complementary slice of tres leches cake of course we found some space! We look forward to going back and sampling more.
