That level of care really stood out. We were also celebrating my husband's birthday, and they kindly comped dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. It felt misleading and left me wondering where the short rib actually was. The pasta itself was fine, but when you order a braised short rib dish, you expect to get braised short rib--not just pasta with a trace of it. North Italia has a great atmosphere and excellent service, but this dish was a major letdown. Hopefully management takes a closer look at consistency because the gap between expectation and reality was hard to ignore.

She apologized with sincerity, and explained that because of the chicken shortage, they had to purchase their chicken from another brand/company; she assured me that this was only temporary and that I wasn't the first one to comment on this.
