This place has awesome pizza and great sandwiches. Definitely my favorite place for pizza in the north shore (deep dish all the way!). The service is a little laidback, so don't expect your server to come running to your side every two seconds, but it's good enough to get the job done. We had called CB's 3 days before we came up to Tahoe to make sure they could accommodate 25 adults and children. They said no problem. Then when we get there last night they told us they were unable to accommodate us. They said that we would need to sit to get pizza. There was more than 25 seats available. So we said ok that was our plan. Then the people behind the counter got the manager and she told us we could not come in. Then one of us asked well where else could we spend over $500.00. I can't believe they turned us away after we made reservations. Went somewhere else. I will never take my business there again as we travel up to Tahoe many times a year. read more

Decent pizza. I called more than 10 times before they actually answered the phone. There are not a ton of options in this area for a good pizza but once you can actually get one, the a pizza is usually good. 3 star for the customer service. read more

Amazing food, came here for their Italian Tuesdays! Try and order from their menu of the day. Got their prosciutto flat bread and mushroom alfredo. With a couple of beers. Not sure why the ratings are low, but we would definitely visit this place again! read more

Best menu, most chill, friendly place in North Lake Tahoe!

Great food, decent atmosphere. Where I have my only issue is when I walked in, not one person greeted me, even though I made eye contact with multiple employees who didn't seem very busy at all. I ordered their "Dough Knots"- very good. The girl who had helped me seem very put out when I came up to the bar to place my to-go order. She was also eating soup which was on the bar top, seemed unsanitary. Overall; great food, unfriendly staff. read more

We got take out. Friendly but the food was really not that good. not terrible, but we probably won't order from here again. The chicken wings were ok but barely had ANY meat on them and don't be fooled by the "fire sauce," it really was not very spicy. and i have a weak palette. The mozzarella sticks were so gross, limp and soggy we threw them out. The breadsticks had absolutely no flavor. The pizza's were ok until you got to the crust-it was terrible-tasted like it was not cooked enough and was kinda like a gross cookie. The Caesar salad was ok-best part of the meal. There were five kids and 7 adults and we all felt the exact same way about the food. If this is the only place you can make it to, stick to the pizza and salad, don't be expecting too much from the crust and DEFINITELY DO NOT order mozzarella sticks-seriously not edible. read more

Just ate here today and CB combo medium pizza is good as always. Very good expansive menu that anybody can find 5-10 things they like on it. Good appetizers, tacos. Sandwiches are so-so, not because of poor preparation -- just not my taste. This place is good for families and always good for watching a game. I haven't had poor service yet but then I'm rarely there on weekends. I know one couple who from Truckee who still drive over there because they miss it from days when they lived at the lake. I'd give it 4 stars if I really liked the pizza or really like any other items a lot. I think everything is good and not great which is 3 stars in my rating system. Well, where do I start... So we come in an awkwardly placed door and aren't seated for a good 10 minutes even though the place is barely half-full. So we get seated, and I'm pleasantly impressed by the menu. They also have games towards the back for the kids. Or me. Well, I order a "build your own burger" and it was delightful. It was big, meaty, and the bacon... Oooh the bacon, perfect compliment for a thick burger. And only for 8$! I recommend it! read more

Getting better! More consistent staffing and they have not botched a pizza in a while now. They went through some growing pains for a few years and now it's a great little pizza spot again. We are in town visiting and decided to try CB's Pizza. We were beyond happy with our decision to go there! We ordered a medium thick crust CB combo pizza, and it was so good! The veggies were fresh and delicious. The meat had excellent flavor and the amount of cheese and sauce was perfect. My husband and I are typically big eaters but it was so dense and filling we only were able to eat about half of the medium pizza. We definitely would recommend this place. Nice selection on the menu. My so got spaghetti with meatballs that looked fantastic, girls got a small pepperoni pizza, dad got a small pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese, I think my wife and Mom both got a salad, and I got a gyros. It was a little crowded, at 2:30 pm on a Wednesday, but not overly. Waitress acted to busy to wait on us. When she finally came over, I said "There are so many choices it was hard to decide." But I already HAD picked & was getting ready to give her my order when she spun on her heel and walked quickly away back to the bar!!! WTF!! I didn't say I needed more time, just there were a lot of choices. We were flabbergasted and almost walked out...but we had driven from Reno and have always loved this place. Chicken Parmesan sandwich was delicious. Lasagna had kind of a fennel taste I didn't like, but hubby didn't mind. The old waitresses were much friendlier. read more

Great area of Tahoe and not a bad location. Waitress was not very friendly and the prices were a little high for the quality of the food. And normally I would never frequent an establishment that puts the tip on the check ahead of time. We were a party of 8 and charged 20 dollars for being a party over 6. My family and I went to CB's Pizza & Grill for dinner tonight, and I ordered the lasagna. I thought it was simply delicious, there was a perfect cheese to noodle to meat ratio and it had a good texture too. I had a few family members try it and three of us said it was the best lasagna we have ever had. In short, if you're in Tahoe and want some good food, go to CB's and get the lasagna! read more

This is frustrating for me to write such a bad review because I've been coming here for about 20 years. My family owns a home in Tahoe about 4 minutes from CBs and we've been frequenting them for many years. The pizza has always been good but they've messed up more than a few orders. I was up at the Lake for the past few days and decided to get some take out from CBs. I ordered a Turkey Burger, and for my side I got a green salad with Dijon Vinaigrette and egg on the salad. I go to pick it up and the guy ringing me up is too busy talking to one of his co-workers to ring me up. He asked for my name twice and spent literally 5 minutes doing something on the computer (ringing me up?) before he finally printed out the bill. I saw a take out box sitting on the counter behind the guy, that had been there since I walked in. He continued talking to his coworker laughing and joking for another few minutes before he finally turned around, casually picked up the food (which turned out to be mine) and went to a fridge where he grabbed "my salad" (he even opened the box to see if he grabbed the right thing). He put my stuff in a plastic bag handed it to me and by now, I was irritated and ready to be home. When I got home, I opened the salad and it was not the green salad I ordered but instead a Cesar salad. Not only that but there was no egg on it, but they charged me $1 for the egg I did not receive. The turkey burger SUCKED. The bun and the toppings were fine but the turkey burger was rubbery and awful. Uck. I was horribly disappointed. I tried calling the restaurant back to complain but was put on hold and hung up after a few minutes of waiting. My family easily spends a few thousand dollars a year in that place between everyone who goes up to the house year round. I will be sharing my experience with my family and friends and will not go back. read more

it pains me to give a poor review to a neighborhood joint, but here goes... this review is solely for customer service, as we never were able to try the food. the staff and management here is, unfortunately, a little more confident than they should be. we called in to place a generous order to feed over 12 very hungry people. as the guy on the phone was totaling up the order, i hear a man come speak to him and the kid scrambles to tell me his boss just tapped his should and said they are no longer taking phone orders for the night. weird? well, for some reason we didn't take the clue and proceeded to drive over. while on our way, we called and called and called to inquire how long the order may take to prepare - their phone was off the hook. we arrived to see a line of about 3 people. the person in front of is...picking up his phone order. we inquire why they took his phone order and not ours, they told us that they got overwhelmed and decided to take the phone off the hook, but are now taking phone orders [keep in mind, we had only called in 30 minutes before]. when we asked why they couldn't have made an exception and take our phone order [it took over 5 minutes to give our order over the phone before he decided to cut us off and hang up] they said that they made that decision because they were "overwhelmed". we were quoted 55 minutes wait time for our food with attitude and no apology. needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. read more

We were visiting Incline Village for the week. After a day on the beach, we wanted PIZZA!! No other place was open for dinner so we continued to drive down the lake side. Came across C&B's. We all figured, let give it a try. I mean we eat the best of pizza and low end, how bad can it be?? (such as freezer and Little Caesar's). After ordering, we asked some locals outside about the food and their pizza directly. They laughed and said they only come for the beer but don't expect too much from the food cuz it's not that great...(??!!!). The lady running the placed seemed more worried about socializing with the locals. I moved to a table from the booth to see the game better on the tv and she actually said, Hmmm. you want to dirty up another table hu?? Then the pizza came. WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE DISAPPOINTED and I have TEENAGERS!!! Clearly the crust is frozen and cooked too fast - It would have been used as a better Frisbee at the beach. We wasted $50+ bucks - don't waste your time or taste buds. read more
