I payed over 70 dollars for "nail extensions" and my nails came off within three days of getting them done. I had to go to CVS to get nail glue to put it back on, but most of my nails came off within less than 2 weeks of a manicure that's supposed to last for 4. And I just gave up. Would not recommend this place. read more

A tiny little nail salon that is easy to miss. I'm very conflicted with this review, because they were so nice and polite (a NY rarity) that I only want to visit this salon. My nails however, have seen better days. I got a gel manicure in grey, and it it's kind of all over the place. The edges are not smooth, the polish is see through in places, and it just doesn't look like a quality job. This was my first time coming here, maybe it was a fluke for the day. I'll be returning for the awesome customer service, the friendly smiles, and with hope of an excellent manicure! (will totally update when I go back) My advise would be: When you've had too much of the rude nail ladies around town, go here. read more

Execellent service and friendly staff. Was able to get me plus two other girlfriends in for a pedi pretty quickly, which is rare on a Saturday. The massage chairs were great! Great selection of colors and basic pedi includes a some kind of callus remover that made my heals feel nice and soft. Highly recommend! read more

I've been going to CC Nails at least once a month for 6 years and since then I've only been to another NYC salon twice! I've moved to Roosevelt Island and still will go out of my way to come here. They're the only salon I've found that will give you a great foot massage included in a pedicure for less than $40 (the "signature pedicure" is the best value... It lasts about an hour with scrubs, lotion, paraffin on your heels, etc. and includes the 10 minute foot massage). They also have a punch card which gives you a free 10 minute back massage, manicure, or eyebrow wax at every 10th visit. Everyone who works here is skilled and friendly and gives equally great massages and pedicures. It's also clean and obviously sterilized (real medical sterilizing devices for tools, disposable covers for the pedicure tubs). I love this place! Highly recommend. read more

I stopped in here for a gel mani and pedi and was in a bit of a rush. They quickly got someone to assist and worked quickly but still did a great job and gave a nice little massage at the end. Also they have a gel in light that is super quick and doesn't take nearly as long as most places. Losing one star just because this place is just too pricey- $62 (w tip) for a gel mani and pedi is just too much! read more

It's so sad to see how awful this nail salon has become. I previously had a 5 star review that I'm now editing to write this because of so many poor experiences in a row. This used to be my go to nail salon but I can't tell you how bad the service has become. I was burned with the plastic they put on your feet, the staff are not trained properly and the overall experience is really not enjoyable. My manicures and pedicures are all done very well and last a long time. Cleanliness is vital to me and I'm happy to report that everything they use is sterile. I don't understand why the reviews are so good. It's cheap, which might explain it. My nails look good but I didn't find the color selection very impressive, especially for gel nails. Ultimately I would never go back because it was not clean. Dirty nail supplies lying around. Floor is dirty and the area in general. One woman was getting a SNS nail polish and I sat and watched her nails being dipped directly in the jar and the excess shaken from her fingers back into the container which would later be used for other customers. It was totally gross. I will not return. read more

I went here due to the reviews and I'm not sure what to think. My nail technician was pretty rude. Told me to sit, I waited 15 minutes with no communication, then she finally came over. It was pretty obvious she was talking about me during multiple durations to the other technicians, and just kept asking me if I wanted to buy more. In the end I tipped her fairly well considering all things and she didn't even say thank you. She was never even slightly welcoming nor did she smile. My pedicure doesn't look great and she rushed through the entire thing. read more

I was in need of an emergency mani/ pedi and dropped in CC Nails near my work because of the great Yelp reviews. I'm not sure what the other reviewers were thinking. The spa did not seem clean and service was very basic. They kept trying to sell me treatments such as a 10 min massage throughout my pedicure...not relaxing. Plus, randomly increased the prices just for the upcoming 4th of July weekend....annoying. My go-to Thai spa is not only cheaper, but provides a much cleaner environment and nicer atmosphere. I live in FL and part-time in NYC. Mani-pedis here are SO much better and less expensive. CC in particular provides better service than other nail salons in the area. I had a mani pedi that didn't chip within the first week. The pedi extras are well worth the money, too. read more

I really wanted to like this nail place from all the great reviews but my $25 mani-pedi was honestly just okay. The girl who did my nails, Lucy, was very polite and pleasant, but the actual nail painting was just ok. It was not evenly painted and some parts of my nail got a thicker coat than others, so it looks a little haphazard and sloppy. Definitely an adequate job though. Also she was super nice and used the quick-dry/high-shine topcoat (Ceche Vite- it's a great brand and you can buy your own at Duane Reade), which i think they usually charge extra for. I felt really bad for the girls working there, as there was a suuuuper rude older guy getting a pedicure that wasn't happy with the shape the filed his nails or something, and kept yelling at them about it and yelled even more when some of the girls didn't speak English. Like its a nail salon at 5:30 after work, calm down mister. Worth a visit if you're stuck and need your nails done, but for a better quality job that is a few dollars more walk down the street to "Ceci Nails" between 1st and 2nd on 34th st. They are so sweet, all speak English and love to chat (or not if you're in a more quiet mood). It's worth the extra few dollars for a more relaxing experience. read more

Great massages that make you want to keep going back, and ok pedicures. Horrible manicures. I did sns, within a week the polish on one of the nails had completely come off, I was able to remove the rest myself with nail polish remover. The gel manicures come out looking sloppy and don't last. read more

The first two visits were ok. It was a decent job at a great price. However, I came in yesterday and had the most half-assed mani/pedi ever. She rushed through the entire service, finishing me way before a girl I came after. I look forward to the few seconds of massages, and she barely did that. She even continued to hurt me AFTER the fact that I was flinching and taking my foot out of her hand, and she ended up cutting TWO of my toes. HELLOOOO?? Pay attention!
