I haven't tried all of their menu but the ceviche is so so good. My favorite part about it is that they're not greedy with the amount of fish they give. We came here starving after a day at the FIU V UM game and I must start by saying that Cebiche Bar is a super cute place located right in the heart of Pembroke Pines. This was a last minute spot after a long day of drinking so unfortunately I can not comment on what they are known for, Ceviche. We had a long day of tailgating and drinking and needed to soak up some alcohol with solid comfort food AND PLENTY OF WATER! To start we tried the Causa with Tuna. The plate presentation on this dish is super sexy! Adding the tuna gave this dish gave a rather unique taste. Causa is made with potatoes so there is a creamy texture with a sauce that tasted like it had a mustard base (Huancaina sauce). The dish was served cold (disappointing). It was not bad, nor good. Just different. We called it fancy tuna salad and potatoes with avocado (more creaminess)! To be honest, this dish was a little on the pricey side for cold canned tuna and potatoes in sauce. I may be open to trying another protein base to see whether I would like it better. But at this point, the dish was uneventful and overpriced. My entree order was Tallarin de pescado (fish and spaghetti in a savory sauce). The white fish was chopped up and lightly fried with a nice light seasoning that gave the dish a nice crispy texture amidst the soft pasta and stewed tomatoes. There was nothing extra fancy about this entree. It was basically a traditional Peruvian style dish. Very enjoyable. Overall, the ambiance is nice and the location is easy to get to. After attempting to eat at Submarine Crab and finding a 2 hour wait ahead of us, my party of 3 found this place in a quick search of seafood in the area. There was no wait and we were seated quickly. The menu has plenty of options and a TV in the dining room has photos of many of the dishes. Drinks include limited liquor and mixed drinks, beer, wine, and sodas. We ended up getting 2 appetizers, a shareable cebiche for 2, and a fried rice. The appetizers were crab tostones and a mix causa of crab, tuna and shrimp. Tastewise, everything was delicious. The portions were large for appetizers and more than enough to share between the 3 of us. The tuna causa actually looked like it was canned tuna as is had that brown color to it. Definitely not a raw tuna. For dinner, we had the mixed seafood fried rice and a shareable cebiche (as they call it), the 3 types of cebiche. It came with portions of regular, medium and spicy fish. The chunks were large and the fish was perfect. The spicy was my favorite. Though they were all good and the citrus seasoned well. The Peruvian fried rice was nothing special. It came with a mixed seafood of squid, shrimp and mussels. The flavor was a little bland and the seafood was sparse. The portion was huge though and complimented the cebiche. This is one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants in South Florida. I like that it's privately owned and that the staff and the manager personalizes the customer experience. Their ceviche is one of the best that I have had and their chauffeur rice is to die for. It's a very small and cozy restaurant, it's not very conspicuous and I actually found it randomly while walking around the complex. It is Wednesday, middle of the day... I decided to take my family of 4 (two small kids, ages 5 and 8 and my wife) to lunch as it was my day off. We have been at Cebiche-Bar several times before, but this place is rapidly getting worse by each visit. Today's incident took us overboard and we will never go there back again. Here is how it all came down... 1. Hostess was young and rather rude. She approached us in Spanish and when I asked if she spoke English, she gave us an attitude immediately. Be ready to be treated as a "second class" citizen unless your Spanish is fluent. 2. There were 7 available tables at the time and 2 of them were set for 5 people. We were told that since we are party of 4, we cannot sit at the tables that were set for 5. At the same time, all tables for 4 were taken by the parties of 2 or 3 which made no sense. When I pointed that out, the young hostess was getting even more agitated by our presence and questioning her authority. She did everything in her power to make us unwelcome and send us home, so we left. 3. Since my wife and I ate there last week, we took pictures of the metal baking pans dishware that the food was served in, see below. It was filthy dirty and chipped pieces were exposing the metal underneath it. Food was pretty good though but we struggled with English again as our waitress spoke NONE. Manager is also NEVER there to raise any concerns. 4. The restaurant automatically adds 18% gratuity to any check, like it or not. If you not happy with a service or food, just too bad, you are out of luck as your English is not going to be of much help to voice your concern. 5. I suggest you bring your own sanitizer as none are offered or available. In addition, tables and seats ARE NOT being sanitized or disinfected upon patrons' departure as we stood there for 10 minutes and saw how poor cleaning occurred between the turnovers. *** Summary: Food quality and temperature is good for the most part, even though salty at times. Dishware is horrible, unpractical, oversized, and dirty looking. Service is atrocious most of the time unless you speak Spanish. Hostess leaves a lot to be desired and needs to go back to hospitality training. But during pandemic, in our opinion, cleanliness and disinfection is as equally important and that was a huge letdown as that was none-existent. read more

It costs 26$ and it was very overpriced for what I received. The portion was small and jalea was not good. My husband ordered special of the day, ajide galina and he was not impressed with this dish. Two pros: The causa de atun and torta de chocolate, both delicious. I'm not one to love sweets but since the dessert was ordered, I tried it and was not disappointed. The chocolate cake was rich in flavor, delicate and fluffy. As for the main dishes, they left me a slight bit unsatisfied. If you know authentic Peruvian food-hence me, who is half Peruvian, you know the difference when something actually taste authentic and when it doesn't. It just didn't quite do it for me. The tallarin saltado de pollo was eh, and so was the arroz chaufa de mariscos. Arroz chaufa in general, can (usually) never be cooked improperly. Even if the case was that you happen to order it and you have never had Peruvian food in your life, you will never be unsatisfied with the choice, it is always yummy. Yeah, no. Not in this case. Even the way the plate was served was so peculiar. Con: Another main thing everyone at the table noticed was the music that was playing. I felt like I was at club E11even (no I'm not trying to be cool this is really how its spelled) If you're not familiar with the club let me just say they play a lot of EDM, sometimes hip hop and top 40 but mostly EDM. Yes this Peruvian restaurant was playing that at 12 pm in the afternoon. Not sure how that ties in with the restaurant at all. I mean, I enjoy that type of music but if you want to go along with the whole vibe of a Peruvian restaurant, you're better off playing some Salsa. I'd give this place a solid 3 stars. Not the worst food but not the best. I didn't mind the music but to anyone else coming in they might be just as confused as everyone else in my table. read more

If you are looking for good, fresh ceviche with large portions at a reasonable price then this is the place to go. I ordered the fish and shrimp ceviche and it was a tad bit on the spicy side but I have to admit it was really fresh and delicious as it was prepared. The inside of the restaurant has a laid back and casual kind of vibe. Service was good and quick. The location is on a strip mall and has lots of parking so it's easy to get to. Loved the little corn nuts that came with every plate & each plate could have easily served 3-4 people! Really good Peruvian food in Miami! The ceviche sampler was amazing. There were many in our party that had never tried ceviche before and they loved it. The lemon and fish was so perfectly balanced and it was so fresh. My sister ordered the mancho seafood platter and it was delicious. It was a rich seafood stew sauce atop rice and the sauce was so flavorful and savory. I ordered the linguini and chicken and it was good, but it didn't stand out amongst the other entrees. Likewise, the Chaufa entrees were a tad boring in comparison to the other star dishes. We also were a gigantic party of 15 and the service was stellar. Tried this place out for the first time. I did not really feel welcome by the staff. The waitress asked me if I spoke spanish, which I did not know was a prerequisite to dining in this establishment, because when I told her I didn't she said she didn't speak English. the food was decent, although for the amount of time we waited for the food to come out I guess I expected made from scratch ingredients. The fries weren't fresh (they were previously frozen), and the chunks of fish in the ceviche were too big so they tasted chewy. The waitress' spoke English with us the whole time, so I am not sure why she would say she couldn't speak English, unless it was to make us feel unwelcome. I've always heard how Peruvian food is the best one there is. This place has so many attractive options that I have to keep coming back until I've tried them all. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try because of the reviews. We skipped appetizers, I had the seafood noodles/tallarin saltado and they came in a sauce with shrimp, clams, octopus, calamari, onions and tomatoes. Very delicious. My friend had the fish in seafood sauce corvina/pescado a lo macho. This one I liked more than the one I had, so I would highly recommend it. Their plates are big and more than enough for one person. For dessert we had an alfajor and a flan (crema volteada). The alfajor wasn't as good as I expected but the flan was delicious. The staff was nice and our waiter was very patient explaining us every item in the menu. This place is very reasonable priced. We were two and the check was $56 before the tip.
