We've only had breakfast there over the past 5 years, but the service is friendly, and the food comes out as ordered.

Just went to this place for breakfast this morning. I have to say my experience was very good. The place was clean, and I was greeted pretty quickly by the waitress. She was very friendly and eager to take my order. I ordered the migas with chorizo and avocado. It was fantastic. The only thing is the hashbrowns were a little too salty. Little hole in the wall cafe right off the main road as you come into the small town of Celina. Great selection of breakfast items, sandwiches and paninis. Very friendly service. I had the basic breakfast combo. It came with a large amount of food for the buck. Eggs were done perfectly. The meal came your in a quickly and timely matter. Coffee was good but not a+. I had really been looking forward to this as it had been recommended on my message boards. As others have consistently mentioned, prepare to wait. We ordered eggs, a burger, and French toast. 40 minutes later I had to ask the hostess to track down our food. The reason? They were "slammed." That excuse always makes me mad. You know how many tables you have so be prepared. I'm pretty sure our server forgot us somehow as we didnt see her after she took our order. As to the food: My friend said his burger was delicious and it looked great. Another friend ordered eggs Benedict with no meat, and of course, there was meat on it. I ordered french toast, I got 4 slices of sandwich bread dredged in eggs and fried. For $$ I was expecting at least some hearty or specialty bread. Nope! Toast cooked in eggs with no seasoning. Random servers kept our water glasses full as well as coffee cups. The coffee was good and strong. I will give them another try b/c that's only fair (will not be ordering the french toast though.) read more

We were so excited to try this local restaurant for breakfast. The reviews on here were what encouraged us to go. There were no masks, no wiping down of plastic menus and no social distancing of any kind. If you are a stickler for restaurants to follow CDC guidelines, this might NOT be your place. All that aside, we felt it was a little pricey co pared to other businesses offering breakfast, non the less, our party of three placed our orders. The bacon was awful, it was so grisly, I had to spit it out. I love bacon! The egg was that, just an egg, the pancake was delicious, this why I am being generic on 3 stars. We came in on a Sunday morning which understandably can be very busy however, we were sat ahead of a large party and not addressed until after that party not only had their drink order but food order in as well. Got seated right away. Waitress brought our drinks and took our order. For the next 40 min we sat there with no waitress or refill on waters. This gave us time to look around at the unkept and uncleanliness of the place. The busboy took at least 5 min if not more to clear a table. One handedly lifting one piece of dishware and food left behind on the table. He then pushed the rest of the food on to the floor and walked away. And... you guessed it, didn't come back.
