Happy to report that my latest visit has changed the dating to four stars. Amazing service and delicious food. They've really upped their game since I was last here almost ten years ago. Solid diner/comfort food.

The food is good but dry service was so slow over all it was good but I don't recommend

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Not bad for a diner with a small bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a beer while I waited for my food and another when I was eating. The waitress was polite but didn't say much. The hostess, while on down time because no one was at her stand, would wait by the nearby kitchen looking at her phone or talking to the waitresses waiting for their food. A lot. The food wasn't bad. I got the Greek panini sandwich with fries. The panini had far too much feta which overwhelmed the rest of the flavors of the sandwich. The fries were okay. I'd probably come back but probably get a different meal.

My wife and I went out for breakfast on a Monday. I was at the Central Diner once or twice before but it has been years. We arrived around 9am and the restaurant wasn't very busy so we were promptly seated. Our waitress was attentive enough. My wife had a skillet that was pretty big. I had two eggs over medium, sausage, home fries and Italian toast. My breakfast was good, I wasn't blown away but it was good. Restaurant is clean, menu is huge. Our breakfast was 1 drink was 31.00, which I felt was a few dollars too much. You probably won't have a bad meal here, this just seems a little more upscale diner food with a Greek focus.

Our Own Challah French Toast with 2 Eggs, Any Style and bacon

We stopped here on our way to the airport so we could give our friend a solid meal before he flew out. I won't be doing that again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the hometown charm of the place, and the servers were experienced and attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food, though, was utterly forgettable. The "home fries" were a bland cross between scalloped and mashed potatoes. The avocado toast came with a pile of raw greens on the side without any dressing whatsoever, and the avocado didn't have any seasoning or topping. I had to season it myself with salt, pepper, and hot sauce. The one standout dish was the French toast, which was huge!

awesome brunch spot! came without a reservation for a sunday brunch for 5 without an issue. service was very friendly and attentive, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place was buzzing and there was a lot of seating, whether it was booths, bars, or tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the diner boasts a huge menu, with some fun and creative specials. I tried their greek eggs benedict (featuring gyro meat) and their cream cheese stuffed challah french toast. portion sizes were huge, and the food was delicious. would love to come back again!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cool dinner experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is super friendly and nice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place has an old school dinner feel, but new and clean inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pickle and cole slaw is excellent. I got the French dip and fries and had so much flavor. My girlfriend got the gyro and it was delicious. You can tell the tzatziki sauce is homemade. It was amazing! I been here for breakfast as well and it's also great.

Came in on a Friday around noon, and the parking lot was PACKED. The service was a bit slow; but the food was good. The fried pickles were spears, not slices. The marinara it came with was DELICIOUS. The grilled chicken Caesar wrap was alright. I didn't think they were going to grill the whole wrap, so the lettuce came out all wilted, which was weird. But overall, good. Check out their cake display!

I can only give this place a 3/5. I have heard great things and wanted to give it a try for breakfast. My mother and I went around 10:30 on a Wednesday. We were greeted warmly and sat right away. Our server Sunni was quick, efficient and knew the menu well. She recommended the skillet as one of her favorites. My mother and I both ordered the Western Skillets. I was underwhelmed. It was very under cooked in my opinion. I asked for my eggs well done. They were not. The onion were close to raw and well as the hash browns. My mother's was the same way. It seems that all the ingredients are cooked ahead of time and then assembled onto our plates. I say this because our meals came out in under 10 minutes. It was also not seasoned at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe of the place gave large, clean diner vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All of the staff was kind and service was great.

The five star rating is because Kelli was our server and she is the best. The second reason for the five star rating is the managers level of attention to details. We love that we were a party of eight and we were treated so well. The food is delicious and made to perfection to your order, you will love the ambience, the energy the service check them out. He will not be disappointed.

Do you have gluten free options? My daughter has Celiacs disease.

Central Diner definitely has many gluten-free options-they always have gluten-free pasta and their buns are quite delicious! Excellent salads, breakfast options, and many many…

My husband and I have cancer and are on a "very limited income". Would you have any coupons so we can afford to eat there? Now that my husband and I are both doing chemo, we can barely get the bills paid.

Downey's House provided the local spot I needed. Local marinara & meatballs made with the same recipe of the old Main Hotel that was in Carnegie for nearly 100 years. That bowl of pasta was SCRUMPTIOUS and just what I was after. I even talked my lovely wife into doing up her salad 'Pittsburgh style', which means adorning the salad with fries. And yes, it's as good as it sounds. Sushi Bomb is an all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi restaurant in Robinson Township, on the other side of the parking lot from Robinson Mall. They have different lunch and dinner menus, with the lunch just being a more condensed version of the dinner menu. In addition, they serve a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. It is in a small strip mall with several businesses, so the restaurant itself is not gigantic. There is signage identifying the business out front, and the strip has designated parking in the front and on the side. However, since it is across the larger parking lot from the mall, any overflow parking can park in the mall lot and take the short stroll over. This is going to happen during peak business hours, as the strip simply will not have enough parking. In regards to seating, there are tables of varying sizes, in addition to some booths along the perimeter. On this visit, my fiance and I ate in on a Friday night in August. It was packed when we arrived, which was around 7:30 PM. Usually on the weekend nights, it will be rather busy. I have eaten here for lunch and been seated immediately, but I have found that for weekend dinners there will usually be a little bit of a wait. We actually put our name in before we left the house, and there were only a few parties ahead of us by the time we arrived at the restaurant. We live about 25 minutes away, so I would say if you do this about 30 minutes before you want to dine in, it should work out that your wait is minimal for the weekend nights. We were seated at a table after a short wait upon arriving. It is all-you-can-eat, but you order off of the menu and rolls are brought out fresh to you. So, we looked over the menu and began ordering some of the rolls we wanted to try. There are a ton to choose from - with over 100 menu items on the dinner menu alone. While we waited for our orders to come out, we visited the Cold Bar, which is set up more like a traditional buffet. It is not very large, but usually has Lettuce for a salad, different Seafood Salads, Fruits, Desserts, and various Sauces. The desserts especially seem to rotate in and out, so these might vary each time you visit. For appetizer-type items, we ordered the Edamame (3), Miso Soup (1), Spring Rolls (4), Shrimp Tempura (8), Crab Rangoons (9), Fried Calamari (10), and Gyoza Dumplings (6). My personal favorite is always the Shrimp Tempura, as I love shrimp in any form. The Edamame is a generous portion, though if you did not think so you could always just order some more! These dishes are served in small enough quantities that you can simply just put in for more if you find one you particularly like. It also helps you to save room for more sushi! Our sushi rolls included the following: Salmon Skin Roll (91), Paradise Roll (74), Angel Roll (64), King Lobster Roll (69), and Mango Roll (76), along with a few single Sushi pieces. I typically gravitate toward rolls with cream cheese, so for that I really enjoy the Angel Roll. Going along with my shrimp comment from above, I liked the King Lobster Roll and the Angel Roll for that reason. The roll sizes here are a great size. If you are trying to sample as many as you can, I would recommend splitting rolls between those you are eating with. From the Kitchen Entrees, we tried the Teriyaki Steak Hibachi (33). The portion on this could have been an entire meal by itself! It came with a generous portion of fried rice, vegetables, and steak, all coated in teriyaki sauce. I know it is unlimited, but I was pleasantly surprised with the portion of this dish. It is never too long of a wait between ordering and when your items come out of the kitchen. I have never had slow or bad service here, as there always seem to be a lot of waiters/waitresses and runners. From start to finish, we were in the restaurant less than 90 minutes. Even on nights that are busy such as this one, it is never a bad wait for anything. After we ate until we literally could not eat anymore, I visited the ice cream freezer. They just have the classics of Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry in single-serve cups, but it is always a nice way to end the meal here. After so much meat and rice, it helps to reset the pallet and leave on a sweet note. The value of this place is truly incredible. The adult dinner price is $23.99, and I believe the lunch price is about $5 less than that. It is hard to get a quality meal anywhere sit-down at that price nowadays, much less unlimited made-to-order sushi! I will forever recommend this place simply on the value alone. Truthfully, I love Sushi Bomb. As someone who was quite a sushi novice on my first trip here, I have grown more cultured and knowledged by trying a lot of different rolls from here over the years. I would highly recommend anyone giving this spot a try!

There would be enough room for the people, but not the plates and drinks. Also, we saw no tables larger than 6 tops. In addition to that, most of the tables are booths, which is really annoying for a restaurant where you need to get your own food to cook. We'll definitely go back sometime. Their ground beef now has more carrots & potatoes than beef (tho these ingredients are NOT listed on the menu). The seafood mix used in the chimichangas, enchiladas, etc. now has more celery than seafood. Sometimes when you order something without onions they say okay, then bring it with onions. And you find out that you can't get that item without Indians anymore (even tho you've had it without onions before), but they didn't tell you. I'm not allergic to onions, so it hasn't even dangerous, but I know people who are allergic to them. It's dangerous. The taco salad has almost no lettuce tonight, but that seemed like a tonight issue, not a general menu change. Tonight, I ordered the al pastor nachos without beans & pico with jalapeños on the side. I was asked if I wanted the sour cream. I said it doesn't have that. He said it did. The guacamole was on the menu. Sour cream was not. I got it on the side so I could give that to my fiancé with the jalapeños. But what if he hasn't asked? It's not on the menu, so I couldn't have known. When I got my nachos, there were a TON of onions. There were no onions listed on the menu. I'm not allergic, but I didn't want them and they were very annoying to pick out. They were everywhere and covered with cheese. Allergies can send people to the hospital. I wouldn't feel safe going there with anyone who has any food allergies. I can't trust them to put the ingredients on the menu. It's close to Costco, which is why we keep giving it more tries, but we're continually disappointed by a restaurant we used to like. There's no great Mexican food here for someone who lived in SoCal for a long time, but the used to be passable. Now, I'd recommend you avoid it. Our waiter actually told me there weren't carrots in the empanadas, but there was a language barrier. The other waiter came and explained they were in the mix. I like carrots, but not cooked carrots. And don't want meat that is mostly potatoes & carrots. They said the chicken doesn't, but 100% of the time I've tried the chicken, it's been way overcooked. The layout and decor hasn't changed and service is typically still fast (tho not tonight) & friendly. Definitely staying away for a while.
