The food is standard high tea food, but all tasted average. Besides coming to chat with some friends, something I love about high tea is trying multiple types of tea. There is only one house tea that can be served hot or iced. They did have bagged tea as an option but I was only offered when I asked what other types of teas were offered. I chose an orange spice. It was alright. If you can't tell by now, I will admit I am a high tea snob. Haha. If you prefer places that offer multiple loose leaf tea options, this is not for you. If however, you just care about the feel of going to high tea with friends or family, you will be satisfied. My favorite of the foods was the pimento cheese sandwich and I overall leaned towards savory items over the sweet. Any of the scones and desserts were heavy on the sugar. The service was good. They brought each course, named each item and checked if we needed more tea. Individual checks for our larger group was a breeze for them as well. Overall, it was a good spot to get the feel of high tea and chat with friends. Another perk is getting to peruse the shops before or after tea. 3/5 stars sums it up for not amazing but not bad either. If they added a few more tea offerings, I think I would've enjoyed it more.
