The PREMIER bicycle shop in the whole Bay Area hands down & bar none! This bike shop operates the way a bike shop ought to be! Their customer service is only second to NONE and this is my go-to bicycle shop from everything that I need bicycle-wise even though itsalmost 10 miles from my house but I don't care. There's something to be said about a business that cares about it's customers for customer services like theirs are very hard if not non-existent. Have been going here for a while to either buy parts or have services done and I'd say it was always a pleasant exerpeince here. Work would be done in a timely matter with prices that I find fair. I would usually do work myself, but when I find myself in a snag I like to come here to either get their opinion or to have a professional lay their hands on it. I was pretty set on getting a particular bike until we went to Centripedal. The store was well organized and clean. The owner and all the sales folks were friendly and very helpful! they were never pushy which we appreciate :) we also had the chance to test the bikes and ended up purchasing two of them the same day. Since we dont have a truck and didnt want to mess with trying to put a bike in our compact cars, we opted to have them delivered for a small fee. We had asked for a saturday delivery (3 days later) and was very pleasantly surprised they were able to have them delivered on friday late afternoon! I've tested out many brands of bicycles but the "Giant" brand stood out to me the most for their affordability, design, and comfort. I have been visiting there for a few years. They fixed the flat tires for my sons's bike, my 26 inch cruiser bike, and the electronic bike. The owner is very friendly and professional. I came there today at 4:30 and they close at 5. James helped to fix my bike after hour. Monday will be closed for the President day. I am very thankful to have it done today (Sunday), otherwise I have to wait more days. We use bike everyday. The price is reasonable, the service is great. I went in here without realizing it was a "Giant" store. The first thing I did when I came in was ask "do you guys have specialized bike tubes?" *facepalm*. I swear when I went to the trek store in San Jose, I was curious where the cannondale bikes were without even looking at the front sign clearly saying "Trek bike store." Good thing I didn't say it out loud and ask the staff where they were or else I'd feel really stupid lol. Anyways I just went here to buy a bike tube for my boyfriend's bike. $6.50+tax was cheap! Staff was helpful and they let me inside to shop last minute even though they were closing in 10 minutes. They were in no hurry to rush me out of the store and were even still servicing bikes for people. read more

This review is for my dad, a cyclist: I heard about this shop opening from the Fremont Bike Club and I had been wanting to come check it out for a while. I finally had time yesterday to stop by. When I came in, I was greeted by an Asian woman, who is the wife of the owner. She asked if I needed any help, and I told her I was just looking. She then asked whether I rode road bikes or mountain bikes, and I told her I ride road bikes. Then things got awkward. I thought "Okay, I know they are a dealer for Giant, so I'll ask about the Giant Aero road bikes." This proved to a challenge for this shop. The woman said she didn't know if they had them, and brought me to the counter to speak with her husband. He promptly told me there was no such thing as Giant Aero bikes, and offered a catalogue from 2002. Obviously it's not in a catalogue from 2002. To back up her husband, the wife brought up the Giant website. It's not on there since it's so new, and I was beginning to question their knowledge of Giant. Have they not seen the latest bike shows? Everyone's talking about the Giant Aero bike online. So I ask if she will just Google "Giant Aero road bike" and she stared at me like I was crazy. Her husband repeated that it doesn't exist. And then a young man who works there that was also at the counter moved as if he was going to search it for me, but the owner kept insisting that I was wrong. There are several things wrong with this shop and this experience. If you're a dealer for a company, maybe you should learn what you're selling. You should keep up with their products, not base your knowledge on an extremely outdated catalogue. And if a customer asks for something specific, humor them. Look it up. If it really doesn't exist, fine, try to sell me something else. But if I'm right, you look stupid. read more

I keep forgetting to write a review! I came here when they first opened and the owner was extremely nice. I came back probably 2 weeks later and he remembered me. I needed my derailleur looked at, and he adjusted it for free. I came back months later to get my wheel trued and it took less than 10 minutes. He was nice enough to tell me it wasn't that out of true, but I did it anyway since I was already there. I remember buying my first giant bike from here in 2013. The owner was quite friendly and was able to help me with my specific needs. Happily got what I wanted and was off. Came back in March or April and purchased another Giant escape 3. The young man assisting me answered my order professional and met my needs again over the phone. This morning, I discovered that my vintage Italian bicycle had minor play in its headset. Since I didn't have the proper tools to adjust my headset, I went on yelp to find any bike store EXCEPT the Bicycle Garage (a truly reckless and careless bike store). I stumbled upon this store, which caught my interest. I biked over and was immediately greeted by David, a very friendly and knowledgeable bicycle mechanic. He assessed the problem immediately, assuring me that it could be fixed for a flat fee of $5 (an amazing price). After ten minutes, he called me over and had me feel the mobility of my fork and headset, and it was perfect! Not only that, but he also re-greased my headset for free! Talk about exceptional customer service! All in all, I had an excellent experience at centriPEDAL Bikes, and I recommend this family owned bike store to anyone who is experiencing a bike dilemma! whoohoo, another bike shop in Fremont. This place is next to Suju's and Dale hardware. The place is brand new. The shop mom and pop shop owners are great. James and Karin are helpful. James is very knowledgeable and clearly knows his stuff and is responsive and helpful. I came down to browse around and check out the goods. For being a new place, this place is clean, well organized, and good store for basic needs. This place make sense. It has road, mountain, hybird, and some cruisers out in front. James was mentioning they will be expanding their selection, they currently have Giant and Nirve bikes. This is my first review and its for a place that well deserves it! I went to this store today to look at their bikes. I've been wanting a full sized bike for months. I got tired of my little folder. I have been to many bike stores around the area and none could compared to this store. I was immediately helped by the owner who is a very kind and knowledgeable man. He helped me decide which type of bike would be ideal for me. There were many different bike styles to choose from. He let me try out some of the bikes I liked outside the store to get a good feel on which size and style would be most comfortable for me. I was never pressured to purchase and the process was not rushed. Once I decided on the bike, James took the time to make sure the bike was adjusted to fit my size. The seat and handle bars were adjusted until it felt just right. I also bought a car bike rack and he helped me install it onto my car and teach me how to attach the bike on it. Overall, this is a great bike store. The people who work there are patient, informative, and helpful. I will return for tune-ups and future purchases. read more

These people are great. They are extremely friendly and have fixed my bike BEFORE the expected due date and time. The thing is, back in Chicago they tell me that the chain rubbing on the front derailleur guard was normal. I didn't know much about them back then but the staff here at Centripedal explained the situation to me and I had a much much better idea of what was happening. Anyway, I attempted to fix it myself at first but i frayed the cable in the process and just could not do it. I didn't get any shit from the staff for my attempt like some elitists would do but instead they explained the problem in detail and fixed my bike. I rode it about 2 miles so far as a "test" ride and NOT ONE problem. The staff here is 5x more reliable than my LBS in Chicago and they know their stuff 100%. The price is very reasonable too. Not one person in here seemed like a scam artist and they are all passionate about cycling and genuine about their service evident in their positive attitude and interaction. I recently purchased my new hybrid bike from CentriPedal and so far I've been really happy with the bike. This is the first time I've purchased from an actual bike store, so I'm glad I chose this place -- they had great customer service, great selection, and were really knowledgeable about bikes/biking! Everyone was also really friendly. Their prices were comparable to other places (I looked up my bike online after I made the purchase) and found that they were around the same price. They build your bike for you brand new from the box (same day if necessary) and adjust it to your height for you! You can also ride it around, down the street, etc to test the bike before purchasing.
