Came back to try their seasonal rice mochi series. Ordered the Mochi Taro & Mango Mango. Both drinks were very disappointing. The drinks weren't flavorful and had very little toppings. The rice mochi wasn't as good either. Also, there was barely any AC inside and it was an extremely hot summer day. Very packed inside and our drinks took a while too. Service was meh as well. First off, I love the interior, a bright room with neutral tones paired with olive trees that add a relaxing feel to the space. They have a large selection of menu items, and also offer a variety of seasonal menu items as well. Matcha ice cream in a croissant was pure MATCHA. Nothing like Starbucks matcha lol. This is the real deal. You must love matcha to enjoy bec it has quite the organic taste. The croissant held the ice cream soft serve like texture pretty well. The avoacado with strawberry (almost like a shake) was quite creamy and light. It doesn't have a heavy avocado taste to it. Some may think an avocado shake seems weird but this would question your judgement. The strawberry purée had a mix of bits of jelly. Good mix to change up the texture. This boba shop is located at the Santa Anita Mall in the outdoor promenade area. The decor inside is nice and minimalist. The service was pretty quick even though they were quite busy. I only tried the Matcha Tornado which is an ice blended matcha with fresh taro paste. The drink was tasty but I do feel like the taro overpowered the matcha rather than blending well together. So if you're a fan of taro, you'd love this drink! I wish the matcha flavor stood out more, but overall the drink was pretty good! read more

I really recommend the da hong pao milk tea as it was super fragrant and tasty. Although the drinks are good, the customer service (or least the barista I spoke with at this location) isn't great. I placed an online order and picked up the drinks fairly quickly. When I got back to my car, I noticed they had added ice when I specified no ice and for the drink with less ice, 25% of the cup was empty. When they get your order wrong and make you go out of your way to walk all the way back to get it fixed, they'll "compensate" you by remaking the drink and a significant portion of the cup will still be empty if you didn't order full ice. I definitely will not be revisiting this location again, and I'm hoping the customer service at the SG location opening soon will be better. read more

At Santa Anita mall of Arcadia, we ordered the following: iced medium Da hong pao chapocinno with agar boba, quarter sweetnes (it is perfect boba tea with good strong tea flavors); mochi mango milk with agar boba at 1/2 sweetness. (A bit too thick and smoothies is hard to drink); water melon green tea, which kids don't like; I think it's better than average and refreshing in summer. Last lemon cha, just the lemon tea kids love. Lemon cha and watermelon green tea are part of joined promotion with restaurant nearby. The store is upscale as it's located on the promenade store out side at Santa Anita mall. Clean, but small. Service is quick, as my order is already done when I go pick them up; I ordered via an online platform with discount. I am incredibly happy that they opened this location at the mall because there is free parking. There are so many drinks I want to try but my wife and I decided were feeling something simpler at the moment so we ordered an osmanthus oolong cream foam cha with vanilla sweet cream and agar boba. The tea itself tasted very legit. The osmanthus really hits you, so you know that they used nice tea leaves to make this. Our only gripe with the drink was the lack of ice. This led to a drink that was initially barely cold and soon became lukewarm due to the very hot weather we've been going through as of late. Don't be like me and be content with lukewarm boba. Ask them to add more ice if this happens to you. The interior of the cafe really blew me away though. Although there isn't a ton of seating, all the decoration and ambiance was really nice to look at and enjoy while we waited for our drink. read more

If you're looking for a Boba place this isn't it I would say this is more of a traditional tea house . The service is fast. This location is in the mall. Every time I'm near the area I would always order my go-to drink which is the Blueberry Matcha (a must try!!) Always consistent with the drink and the oat milk is so good. Came here at a friend's rec and was pleasantly surprised at the cute interior. They had a line to the door on a sat early afternoon but the line moved quickly. There were so many good options to try and I ended up trying the avocado mango and a softserve. The drink was creamy and sweet. It had real fruit and was very refreshing. The matcha softserve tasted like real quality matcha. I just didn't like that there were posters and pics of a swirl softserve and the person at the register assumed I knew it was only matcha available. This was a cute little shop. From the outside I had no idea it was a tea shop. I thought it was a clothing boutique. My sister brought me here And that's how I finally found out about this place. It's a couple shops away from Daiso. The drinks were good. I got the matcha with blueberry oat milk and the brown sugar boba drink. I want to make note of something very important. Most parents who bring their children to boba shops will get the brown sugar boba. Although the ingredients did list pecan, it slipped my mind because my sister was ordering the drink for my kiddo. This note is a reminder to the parents, relatives, friends out there when you're ordering for a kiddo with nut allergies, some of the drinks here will have nuts. It's not very common to have nuts in boba, so I wanted to bring attention to this so you let the cashier know. Thankfully I always have allergy medicine on me for my child. We got matcha soft serve, and 3 drinks (dirty avocado, Sri lanka ceylon latte, mango mango). dirty avocado (1/5)- we did not like this drink at all. We asked if the avocado was fresh and they said it was. When we got it, you could barely taste any avocado and it's straight-up coffee. Sri lanka ceylon latte (4.8/5) - favorite drink from everything we got. Great ceylon tea flavor, not too light or too bitter. mango mango (3.8/5) - good fruity drink with a milky flavor. it's has a pop of bitterness from the pulp of grapefruit. matcha soft serve (3.5/5) - the texture of the soft serve was very nice and smooth. The matcha flavor is not too bad but had better. Plus, the soft serve is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. Overall, I would recommend to get only tea type drink since the the name of the store is CHA which means tea. And the worker was nice to replace the dirty avocado drink that we did not like and not drinkable for us. And we replaced it with Sri lanka ceylon latte since we like it alot. I was drawn to this boba shop because of the menu and pretty decorations compared to 3Cat which is just a few feet away. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. I was considering two different drinks and asked the employee at the ordering tablet for her opinion and she was so uncertain, soft-spoken, and obviously inexperienced that she was no help to me and I had to decide on my own. What's worse was that there were 3 other employees directly behind her laughing obnoxiously and goofing off instead of actually working or supporting their inexperienced coworker. One of them even had her purse so she was definitely off the clock and just hanging out contributing to the lack of professionalism. After I ordered, the cashier forgot to give the cup with my order to the other employees to have them actually start to make the drink so I waited five minutes for nothing. Then the coworker she handed it to actually criticized her for writing it down instead of printing it out - as if he couldn't have professionally and correctly taught and trained her how to do that. Once my drink was finally made, I was desperate and relieved to be leaving. One taste of the drink (a strawberry jasmine green tea) and it reaffirmed my resolve to never come back to this establishment as its quality didn't hold up and didn't have a decent tea flavor or fresh strawberry taste. There's a million boba shops in 626 and this one will likely close soon like so many others that cannot manage a business correctly and stay robust and keep high quality drinks and service a basic necessity. read more

Cha Redefine now ranks as one of my top fave boba places!! All their drinks look so good so I had a very hard time deciding but I ultimately went for their jasmine milk tea. It was absolutely perfection!! The tea was fragrant and the sweetness level was perfect at 75%. Their boba also has the most perfect consistency, chewy and soft!
