Their drinks are all made using fresh ingredients -- no syrups or powders. I usually default to a few of their best seller drinks, and they're always consistent on flavor / taste. This location is in the busy South Coast Plaza so there tends to be a line, but it moves quickly and the staff are pretty efficient at churning out orders. It can get busy and loud here since it's in a food hall, so be prepared if you come during peak hours! PARKING: Located on the Lower Level of the Collage Food Hall where Bloomingdale's is. This is inside a mall so you can technically access it no matter where you parked for mall, but I usually park where the Food Hall is so that I get to it directly without needing to walk through the mall if I'm not planning on shopping that day. Finally giving them another try after the first two disappointments. Order a Mochi Mango with crystal boba today. Even with 50% less sugar, it was still a bit too sweet for me. I usually love mochi but the mochi that they put in this tea is more like a mochi paste and not mochi balls. I didn't really like it. I was so excited about my mango mango drink from here, and it would've been so good if they used ripe mangos instead of the extremely sour ones they used. The coconut milk was the perfect consistency and sweetness, nicely cooked sago, and the perfect amount of crystal boba. That mango was insanely sour though. Even when I mixed it in to the rest of my drink, it couldn't be mellowed out. I would definitely come back in hopes that they have some ripe mangos on hand, but I feel like they should just not serve the drinks if they don't have good mangos. Stopped by for a drink while walking around South Coast Plaza. I got the fresh orange green tea, which is an ice-blended tea with fresh orange juice. Super refreshing and light, but I wish it had been blended more thoroughly because I kept getting chunks of orange pith. I'm really sad to say this but ever since I first discovered Cha Redefine a few months ago it's just gone downhill every time I've gone since then. In my last update I mentioned that maybe it was a potential fluke but I've gone back 3 times and it's just the same lackluster quality. The Mochi Mango is the only drink I would get from here because it was so good the first 2 times, but every time afterwards the mango drink portion was so milky and barely had any mango flavor. I only kept coming back because it was a seasonal drink and I was optimistic that maybe it would be good again before it gets taken off the menu but I was just disappointed every time. Today I went back for what I think will be the last time. I saw they still had one of the seasonal mochi drinks on the menu--Mochiberry. It is supposed to be the strawberry version and I was once again optimistic that it would be better, but unfortunately I was met with the same quality. Way too milky and barely any strawberry. The mochi part was kind of skimped out too, I would say this is the most inconsistent part. Some drinks I've had a good amount, others not so much. The workers also seemed a bit less happy to be there so maybe something else is going on that I'm not aware of. The Sri Lanka Ceylon milk tea was mild-ish in tea taste, I like my milk teas to be strong in tea flavor but still milky in consistently (enough to stick to the tongue, that's my standard!) and it was a bit on the watery side but it wasn't terrible.
