Cuties + Cuter Box (serving 2)

Stopped by Char-cute-rie and got the "Cuter Box" plus the "Cutie" sandwiches. Service was excellent and generous with samples. Everything was fresh and well made. Great spot right by Central Park for picnic style bites. Will definitely come back soon!

My partner spontaneously decided to do a picnic in Central Park and found this cute little spot for us to grab our supplies. Located right across from the Columbus Circle section, this quaint little shop allows you to rent picnic baskets, charcuterie boards or purchase a treat box to go. Boxes range in sizes from a personal box, one for a coupe or ones that feed 6-8. Each box comes with one meat, two cheeses of your choice, dried fruits, jam/ puree, two fresh fruits nuts, pickles and bread. The service is convenience and quite fair in price. You also have the opportunity to add desert: brownies, Goldie's or an array of pastries. A wide selection of beverages are available including wines, spritz's and coffees. The service is also available for catering and event planing on a larger scale. I can def see myself using this again for a girls event. 10/10 highly recommend.

Stumbled upon this lovely gem before taking a central park tour. The cafe is super cute, friendly & the prices are great! I purchased a cute Box for $19 which was perfect for 1 or 2 people. Theres a good variety of cheese, meats & nuts. Im so happy I found this place right before my park tour!

Great idea in theory (personalized charcuterie boxes in a location right next to Central Park), could improve on their execution. First to start with the good-- it's a cute shop, presentation for the boxes was great, decent variety of cheese/meats (and you're allowed to sample), prices aren't terrible. My main issue is their efficiency and organization (or rather, lack of). When we came in, I think there were like maybe 6 people ahead of us in line? But things move extremely slowly, it took over an hour to get to us. This was not helped by the fact that they allowed like 3 people to skip us in line (I'm assuming these were people who placed online orders, but I really wish they had a staff member dedicated to that). Even getting our crackers at the end (a matter of putting a handful of crackers in a paper bag) took almost 10 min for some reason. I think they also could've made more clear that you pay first before you make your boxes. Hopefully they improve on these issues; right now I doubt I'd return.

Placed a large order and when I went for pick up they were placed in thin paper bags that ripped.

I would not recommend Bohemian Picnics (also known as Char-cute-erie) based on multiple firsthand experiences. I hired them to provide a grazing table for an event, and they arrived very late, which caused significant stress for my client. After the event, my team was unexpectedly asked to clean and transport their dirty dishes and serving equipment. We accommodated this once. When I hired them again, I was very clear in advance that my team could not transport their equipment due to storage closing times and that they would need to retrieve their own items themselves. They agreed to this before accepting the job. Despite this, after the event there was frustration that my team did not transport their items. A team member arrived approximately two hours after my team had already left (around 10pm) and later stated that some items were missing, even though the event end time and retrieval expectations had been clearly communicated and agreed upon beforehand. I also placed multiple orders for their smaller charcuterie boxes, and there were recurring issues, including missing items and missed orders. On one occasion, heavy boards were packaged in very thin bags that tore immediately. Replacement bags were provided, but those also failed, causing the food to spill. When an order was incorrect due to their error and I did not have time to return, I asked if they could deliver to the park across the street to correct the mistake, and they declined, which added unnecessary stress during an active event. At one outdoor event, my client was also upset by the number of flies around the food. No fly fans or food covers were provided. We raised the issue with the setup person onsite but were not offered a solution. As a result, my team had to improvise by keeping trash bags over the food to protect it, which was not an acceptable presentation for a paid grazing table. After leaving an honest review reflecting these experiences, I was contacted directly by the owner in a way I found unprofessional rather than constructive. Overall, my experience showed a pattern of poor communication, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling of issues. Based on my experience, I would not work with or recommend this company.

Do not pass this up if you're headed to Central Park! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. From the moment we walked in, the 2 employees were super friendly and attentive. Once you choose the board or box that you want, they give you options on meat, cheese, fresh fruit, dry fruit/nuts, veggies, and a choice of jam. The kind guy building our box was so meticulous folding all the meat and arranging all of the ingredients so that our box was not only completely full, but also aesthetically pleasing. I loved all the detail down to sorting through the edible flowers in a container to choose the prettiest one to top our fig jam with. He was also kind enough to let us use the employee only bathroom to wash our hands and also gave us a map of all the best spots at the park to sit and have a picnic. Everything in our box was fresh and delicious and plenty for the 2 of us. They don't skimp like other charcuterie places. The shop itself is truly a one stop shop. They have everything you may need like picnic basket rentals, bottles of sparkling wine, baked goods, extra snacks/candy and they also have a drink station where you can order refreshers and iced coffee. We did not try them on this occasion but they also make mini sandwiches that look adorable. 10/10 recommend and will be back for sure during my next NYC trip!

Bistro is cute and service is friendly. Very clean and delicious and the perfect amount for a light lunch.

Service is slow. Mocha tastes like just milk. Do not recommend. If i wanted milk I would've gone to the grocery store. I wish I had a Time Machine so I could go back in time and never walk into this place. I guess I'm the fool for getting coffee at a charcuterie spot.

    To go food.

This place is super cute and the espresso is a great deal. The little sandwiches look amazing. Great date idea to have a picnic in the park. They'll even rent you the basket!

The green juice was so refreshing and the fries were delicious and the aioli paired with it was perfection. Our waitress was so nice and gave us some amazing recommendations including the falafel wrap (they have a housemade edamame falafel) which was delicious and my friend argues it might be the best falafel wrap in the city. Pickled veggies, fresh falafel, the works. The waffle was also delicious and it had an addicting maple-butterscotch sauce that kept us coming back (I wish I ordered one just for myself it was that good). Can't wait to come back, Banter Brunch days will definitely be a part of my routine.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
