Ambiance: it's a small family style restaurant, limited seats inside, good for takeout orders Service: terrible experience, if you don't speak their language, expect very different treatment, our table wasn't served any water until asked three times, but their own people got served water immediately at the moment when they got seated, let alone super slow and forgetful, first dish wasn't served until 40 minutes after placing the order, and the bill came before all dishes were served, apparently they forgot to two items from the order but still charged Food & Drink: numerous items to choose for chicken, beef, lamb and seafood dishes Chargha Chicken - **** Half or Whole chicken marinated with their special ingrediant and BBQ special desi style in tandoori oven, spicy and tasty, recommend Chicken Biryani - *** weekend special DUM biryani is with bone, spicy rice Naan - **** Flat leavened bread freshly baked in oven, recommend Mango Lassi - ** Mango based sweet yogurt drink, not fresh Price: large portions, affordable prices and decent quality, expect $20 per person for a fulfilling meal

I've been coming to chargha house for over 6 months regularly. The food is amazing! Definitely recommend the Chargha (grilled chicken) Dhaal (lentils) also superb. Ali is a great owner and I would recommend eating here + it's a family friendly place!

Although this was takeout, now I truly want to return and dine here since it's 100% traditional Indian food. Service was very quick and food was fantastic! Bon appétit!

Honestly lots things about this place can be improved. When we came in and sat down, they gave us the menu, gave us time. Upon ordering food and ordering water. They took so long for the food and didn't even bring us water and we had request again. The restaurant wasn't super busy. We order chicken tikka masala, it was over priced for the portion of food. I have ate in other places too. The dish was extra sour, and chicken wasn't cooked enough, the chicken had no flavor from the curry itself. We ordered a beef biryani to go, def will never come again. It was 20 dollars for small amount of food, and didn't taste good at all. Also don't even get me started on the mango lassi we ordered. It never came and we told the guy to cancel it as we paid. Waste of money and time. Save yourself and go to any of south Asian restaurants. People who like this place clearly haven't tried actual authentic Indian food. This is coming from a desi

Order of rice. Huge amount for $4.99

We were looking for an upscale indian lunch/brunch spot and found this amazing gem!…read more We went on Saturday and I believe they serve breakfast from 8 AM. After 11 you have a bigger menu option as they continue the breakfast/brunch menu till 2 pm as well as dinner menu. We tried a lot of different things, benne dosa, Kerala fried chicken, Fig and walnut kofta, Masala naan and chai tiramisu. Everything was absolutely delicious! Sambhar was very authentic and the koftas were to die for! I have never had walnut and fig option but it worked so well. Our server Emilio was pleasant and efficient. The restaurant had a modern chic vibe.

After reading the yelp reviews we were really excited to eat here for our special anniversary…read more Unfortunately for an $80pp meal, we left feeling disappointed and very misled by the reviews. The food overall was very mediocre for what they charged. Actually every dish was very salty, like a mouthful of salt. The ambiance, presentation, and plating were very nice, but did not make up for the lack of 'wow' on the actual taste we were hoping for. Not only was it unremarkable, I'm not sure I would even call it delicious. It was just eh, and we ate it because we already ordered it. Honestly for a pure Indian food fix (no frills on "high end" ambiance) I would rather just go to an Indian lunch buffet for the price of one entree here, or even the Samosa house 3 item combo for less than $20, where the appetizers and food are way more delicious and fulfilling. - wagyu beef kulcha- do not recommend. Salty and reminiscent of a Mexican pizza made with ground beef. Don't be fooled by the "wagyu" label - crab bhuna- a bit of a letdown compared to reviews. The banana buns were good. The crab mixture was salty and the crab taste gets lost inside the heavily flavored sauce - gobhi bezule cauliflower- was okay. The sauce was a bit heavy - kotu parotta - mediocre flavored beef mush on the salty side. Unsure why other yelpers raved about this. - date and almond korma- the 4 little kormas were meh, but the sauce was good though. Kind of like your standard orange tikka masala sauce. - garlic naan - ironically my favorite dish they made here haha. It was actually crispy but had a fluffy chew and wasn't burnt. At least they got this right for $7 naan! Overall would not reorder any of these dishes and would not return. I love Indian food and really wanted to like the place but sadly it did live up to the 4.8 star expectations. Also random aside, when we walked in the restaurant smelled of commercial cleaning solution (like at the gas station), and the bathroom had heavy air too which made me hold my breath; would recommend some air purifier machines to neutralize the air.

This is a completely vegetarian restaurant…read more I came here to get their spinach masala dosa because I love my spinach masala dosa from my favorite South Indian restaurant near home and I REALLY wanted to try someone else's version. We soon found out that their dosas are not gluten free. This was a really big bummer. But...good to know for anyone who is gluten free. They do put wheat flour into their dosas. We changed our order to two vegetables dishes. We ordered Bhindi (okra) fry and Saag Aloo (creamy puréed spinach with potatoes. My husband ordered a chili garlic naan. Both dishes came with a hearty amount of basmati rice. While we waited for our food, I noticed the restaurant was full of Indian people and a sprinkling of other people (including me) which I think is always a good sign when I'm ordering Indian food. True to my observation...Annapurna did not disappoint. The saag aloo was perfectly spiced and flavored and I really enjoyed the meal. The Bhindi was also very good. My only complaint is that the leftovers for the Bhindi were rather sparse! So overall i think they did a good job. I was disappointed about the glutinous dosas -- i called to double check and my favorite dosa place back home does not have gluten in its dosas. So key is always ask and don't assume there's no gluten. Even though i couldn't have the dosa, i still really enjoyed my meal. I didn't dock any points for the lack of gluten free dosa batter because my food was still very good and I felt like i wasn't missing anything. The service was very good. I want to give a shout out to Rush who was our waiter and was very helpful throughout the night. Parking lot was full. We found side street parking fairly easy.
