I liked the lady who took the order as she was very friendly and helpful in getting the order straight for me. I really wanted some brown gravy for my steak fingers but they don't have that and the wishbone sauce didn't really hit the spot. I wanted iced tea to drink but that was broke and the soda I got didn't really hit the spot. The steak fingers were more like hamburger fingers and didn't really hit the spot. My order was placed by phone, a three piece dark with crispy fries. The order ran about $7 and it was ready as promised. The counter service was not rude, but not friendly. Great things take time so patience is key when stopping by for a bite. When the food was brought out to our table the burger was bagged, once I saw the burger out the wrapper, I knew I made the right choice. The staff at all locations are always fast and friendly. I think they've got locations in all parts of Tucson. South, East, West, Central, & North. Look them up. You need to try the chicken. I think it's better than those chain restaurants by far! Crisp & flavorful! All their menu items come in different sizes & come with fries and texas toast. If you grew up in Tucson then you already know about Lucky Wishbone. I grew up steps behind the original Southside location on Irvington and 6th so as you can imagine we did frequent quite a bit. I love supporting local business even when it is artery clogging and unhealthy. Just don't do it very often. I just purchased the chicken strips meal and I was very disappointed. The chicken strips are thin tasteless and chewy. I love their chicken. I was debating weather stopping at Jack in the Box because they were both on my way home but I figured the specialized in chicken do theirs would be much better.....wrong! Very disappointed.
