Pop Sampler box and a drink
Steven G.

Been wanting to try for a year....LOVE fried food! Parking lot is big enough. Nobody was dining in when I got there. Will get to it.. Ambiance/Cleanliness-Place is dingy and run down....scuffed paint on walls, vandalism to exterior, dirty floors. Not a place that I would leisurely dine in at again 2 stars Service-Counter person did not smile, welcome me in or ask what sauces i wanted. Cooks seemed miserable. Either they staff with the wrong personality for the hospitality industry, underpay or both. 2 stars Food-Got the Pop Sampler (3 steak fingers, 3 fried shrimp, 2 chicken strips, fries) small coleslaw and a drink...20 dollars. The crinkle cut fries were good, and well portioned. Nice crispy batter on chicken and steak, seemed same. Highly under seasoned. The shrimp were commodity meh tasting of ammonia. Coleslaw seemed fresh made and was quite good. Texas toast was average. Came with two cocktail sauces and ketchup. Had to ask for hot sauce (Texas Pete's). The best thing is that I didn't leave hungry, or get sick afterwards. 3 stars. Glad I went, won't go back, tied for worst restaurant meal in Tucson in a year.

3 piece dark

This place seems to be the local fried chicken joint. I ordered take out and the restaurant made certain adjustments to adhere to CDC recommendations for social distancing. My order was placed by phone, a three piece dark with crispy fries. The order ran about $7 and it was ready as promised. The counter service was not rude, but not friendly. I wasn't offered condiments or plasticware. I was just handed a bag and not thanked for my purchase. The chicken thighs were small and the breading on the chicken wasn't anything notable. Overall just OK for a fried food joint.

The bone is always the move, triple. Sunday funday so I went the other way, not in that way, but I did do something crazy.. I know it's crazy because not only did I get static from my shawty, co workers and friends were in complete shock when I said I ordered a burger at Lucky Wishbone that evening. Great things take time so patience is key when stopping by for a bite. When the food was brought out to our table the burger was bagged, once I saw the burger out the wrapper, I knew I made the right choice. I had the double burger w/ cheese on garlic toast, side of small fries and a black cherry drink. I highly recommend you stop by this location and try this burger! Great staff with a clean building restaurant! ps it does have relish which threw me off, I don't like it

A staple of Tucson's history, been eating here since before I was born. Can't beat the burgers on Garlic Toast, and the Steak fingers.

I have finally had a burger from Graze and regret not trying it sooner. Everything was super fresh…read moreand the 1/4 lb beef patty was grilled well. In addition to the usual toppings, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and Graze sauce, I added grilled jalapeños, spicy mustard and cheddar cheese. I neglected to see ketchup on their toppings list due to order anxiety, but my burger and fries were so good, I didn't need it. The burger and toppings weren't overly juicy and the brioche bun didn't get soggy. I was really surprised how well the paper wrapping stayed intact and I didn't have to deal with any messiness. The fries were also really good. They remind me of fresh McD fries - the outside hot, crispy, and lightly salted and soft on the inside. I should have tried the seasonal shake which is peanut butter, because Graze's shakes look good and I'm a peanut butter fan. Hopefully, my next visit will be soon and I'll grab this shake then. Graze burgers are super good and am not sure why there aren't more than two locations.

Graze never misses. Ever…read more The Graze Double with sweet pot tots is my personal go-to and honestly... elite comfort food without the heavy, greasy regret. Every bite is savory, fresh, and somehow still clean. How is it indulgent and light at the same time? The burger is stacked perfectly, juicy without falling apart, and those sweet pot tots? Crispy outside, soft inside, and dangerously addictive. If you want something that feels indulgent but doesn't leave you in a food coma, this is it. 10/10. Always coming back - staff is welcoming and polite , I love. ALSO they have curry ketchup! It's just a must try and if you're a sweet tooth- the chocolate milkshake is killer. Provecho!

Because was waiting in the restaurant when it left the kitchen and I ate in the parking lot, it had little opportunity to continue to cook. The time between when it left the kitchen and I was in my car opening the container was like 45 seconds, maybe 50 seconds. My medium (pink in the inside) burger was grey and dry, more like well-done. See pics... The fixings were great and were what stood out...but there was little joy in the meat itself, as it was dry and overcooked. They weren't busy...was like 2:30 in the afternoon. It's hard to understand how a premium burger shop gets it that wrong, but it happens... Anyway, when you like Medium Rare and accept Medium because that's what most places like at a minimum, there's no dining pleasure when you get a burger that's Well Done. Did I enjoy it? Nope. But it least it was a high protein snack. That being said, am I irritated that I was served such a dry burger? Yep.

I had the Uptown burger which had a nice char - the caramelized onions and uptown sauce made it feel fancier than a standard burger. My husband had the Nashville chicken which was good too and packed a bit of heat. We shared regular and sweet potato fries which were crunchy and not too greasy - we preferred the regular ones. Food took a bit of time to come out even for a weeknight but it was worth the wait.

They also have outdoor seating with heat lamps when it's cold. Their burgers are delicious and I highly recommend their garlic fries! They offer smash burger patties, so just be aware if you're looking for thicker patties. Their chocolate milkshake does not taste gritty and tastes like the real deal! There are large screen TVs at the bar area, perfect for watching sports games. If you're in the area and wanting a burger, definitely check this place out!

I wish I had better things to say, but today's visit to Truland felt a bit underwhelming overall…read more We chose Truland since it's the closer option to Oro Valley compared to Graze. Our waiter was kind, but the service was a bit inconsistent throughout the meal. The outdoor seating is a nice option, especially on a beautiful evening, though the cushions could definitely use some refreshing and cleaning. Now, food-wise, it was a mixed experience. My husband ordered the Baja Shrimp Sandwich, which felt more like an appetizer than a full entrée. I had a salad with added salmon--it was fresh and well-prepared, and the salmon itself was cooked perfectly, but the portion of salmon was tiny and didn't feel worth the added cost. My teenager enjoyed the Early Riser burger with a side salad. The truffle fries were solid, but the side salad felt overpriced for what it was. Overall, the experience just didn't quite match the price point. I really wanted to like it more, and it's honestly surprising to me that, with the same ownership as Graze, the experience felt so different.

I ordered a small combo plate of ribs and sliced brisket (sliced with the grain and not cross it as it should have been) and my sides were greens and coleslaw. I did not see the sign that said all of their meats were sauced, but if I saw it, I would not have had them put sauce on anything. As someone who smokes a lot of food, when I taste meat, I want to taste the meat and the seasoning and the smoke itself. The ribs and brisket were very tender, but all I could taste was the vinegar in the barbecue sauce. It completely ruins the meal for me because if I wanted to drink barbecue sauce, I would've asked them for a side of it with a straw. I did not taste the meat, I did not taste the seasoning, I did not taste the smoke. I also believe that if a pitmaster floods their product with barbecue sauce, they are hiding something. So I can't tell you anything about the meats other than everything tasted like barbecue sauce. For the side dishes, I got the coleslaw which was tasty and the greens. You can see the picture I took after I finished the greens and it looked like I had a cup of soup. I don't know why they wouldn't drain the water out of the greens. Since I was the only one in the restaurant, I was also surprised that nobody came up to me and asked me how the food was. They were all busy on their phones or talking to each other than to check with one of their paying customers if they were enjoying their food. The place itself, physically, I liked because it was a hole in the wall type atmosphere. I don't think I would've chosen contemporary hip-hop for my guests to hear. So that's it, I'm giving it two stars only because the tenderness of the meat, but definitely not because of any other flavoring I tasted. I also felt it was extremely overpriced for the portion size. I tried it, now I can write a review and know that I will never go back again.
