I stopped j for dinner and after reading the reviews decided to try the fish tacos they seemed to be the overwhelming recommendation. I see why! They were excellent! They had a pickled cabbage on them that gave them a unique and fantastic flavor. The spiced fries that came with it were equally awesome. The service was fast and friendly and the prices are great. I had heard about this place from co-workers at The VA prior to the pandemic. With very positive reviews. I was there for Lunch with my honey. My sweet potatoes burger was so delish, i also had the carne asada fries and they had a very good spice and topped with pico.. my husband had the quesadilla burger. with sweet potatoes fries. Came here after seeing the advertisements on FB. Food in the images always looked amazing. So my bosses and I decided to try the Chase the Taste on the Westside of town, my bosses can be picky by the way. We loved everything we ordered (OG burger, Salmon burger) everything was absolutely delicious, tasted so fresh, not a long wait during lunch hour. Was excited to see something new that wasn't a chain in Northeast, unfortunately this is not what we need. The service is atrocious and the food is just so-so. When our orders were taken we had a question or two and the cashier couldn't explain anything, we finally got our order taken and had asked for to-go cups for our drinks. Had to ask three times to get the to-go cups. The $2.50 up-charge for the carne asada fries is insane for what you get - definitely not worth it!!!! Even if the up-charge was lower, the taste wasn't worth it; I ended up scraping it off and just eating the fries. The green Chile burger was very good and what I would get if I ever came again. The fish tacos were ok, but would try something different the next trip. The sweet potato fries were burnt so not sure if it was just a bad night or their regular, but definitely not a good showing! read more

This is a restaurant that belongs in a bigger, better city. We ordered the boracho burger and the pesto chicken sandwich. The bun was absolutely fresh and melted in your mouth. The burger patty was fresh, perfectly seasoned, one of the best I've ever tasted. The fries are super interesting tasting, a hint of lime and salt. We also ordered the carne asada fries. They were spicy but super tasty. Overall, I would rate this place 5 stars. I live far away but have no problem driving 45 minutes to eat here. 5 stars. read more

I'm going to say more like 3.5. I've been meaning to try this place every time I come home to visit. Today was the day I was able to come by and eat the green chile burger. Pros: Friendly and courteous staff, everything came out cooked to order, they serve beer with burgers and fries come with your burger order. Suggestions: Maybe offer a grill toasted brioche bun instead of the regular hamburger bun that was too soft. It didn't offer any separation of gustatory texture to take in the flavors of the chile burger. The bun just merged into everything else. Is it possible to tell us the origin of the "fresh meat?" Were the cows grass fed, locally sourced,etc. Get some HAND CUT fries, HAND CUT fries! Whatever you season those fries with, make it into an aioli...you won't regret it! Overall, Chase the Taste is worth another visit for me. Wishing you continued success!! read more

So I'm from out of town and was looking for a local place to get something tasty. Read the reviews here and said "ooo, this sounds interesting!" I was not entirely correct. THIS place is A.MAZ-ing. First off the staff is uber friendly. I walked in (this place has a tiny store front so don't miss it), said this was my first time, asked for the Big Bend hefeweizen to start and their recommendation for a burger pairing. Suggestion was the green chile burger. The hefeweizen was yummy but when the burger arrived and I took my first bite, I had an out of body experience. I mean OMG. It's hard to describe it's yummy-licousness adequately. The meat was perfectly done, clearly fresh, never frozen, charbroiled and the perfect size. The green chiles and seasonings were delicious additions. The bun itself was equally soft and moist, and the fries were a great complement. Yeah a tiny bit expensive but sooooo worth it. I'm headed back tomorrow for happy hour and another burger. I can tell I've met my new addiction. So go there, take friends, be ready for one of the best burgers you'll ever eat in your life.
