I've never eaten inside just the pickup but the food is always delicious and the sweet potato fries are the best I've had.

If I could write this review in one word, it would be duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Seriously, been here twice since they opened where Southern Smoke use to be (RIP), and I'm ready to go back. This use to be a food truck (hence the name), now is a brick and mortar (yay). They also have more pescetarian options and vegetarian options. First time I went, I got the sweet potato Borger. I figured i would get the sweet potato fries since that would be overkill. The burger was so freaking delicious, I nearly licked the Styrofoam container. The fries were good, but, they were... Fries. I did like the tangy salt they put on. I also tried a fish taco from my friend, which was good too. On the second visit, I ordered the spicy salmon with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was gone in three bites. Not because it was small, but because I inhaled it. Not overcooked. Spicy slaw. The only thing is the bun could've been better. Now they fries. I'm not a marshmallow and sp kinda guy, but their marshmallow dip isn't too sweet and it has a cinnamony taste. I was enjoying the combo so much, I almost growled at my friend who tried to get one. #noshame. And of course, service. I know I've ordered for take out both times, but the owner is so appreciative when you come in. He makes up for the meh bun! read more

We are new to El Paso area, so we hesitate to try local but love to invest in local. Chase the Taste was very good, we both had fish tacos. I will say they were perfect! Only one thing I would suggest is a healthy grilled fish option but none-the-less, DELICIOUS! We shall return! read more

Went here and it honestly was nothing spectacular. I had wings and the bbq sauce was more on the savory side, which I didn't expect but aside from that it was decent. Would have liked the wings to have been cooked a bit harder because the sauce made them a bit soggy and some of my sweet potato fries were burnt. This is such a yummy place! We had the cheeseburger and borracho burger with regular and sweet potato fries. They did a great job packaging everything for take out and including the condiments we needed. We felt comfortable and safe with their COVID measures while we ordered. One of my favorites anywhere is the chicken pesto sandwich and Chase The Taste's was awesome. Also tried their sweet and spicy chicken which was delicious as well. My coworkers opted for the burgers and they really seemed to enjoy it so it seems you can't go wrong here. I have to mention, when you order sweet potato fries you get a small cup of melted glaze(?). I LOVED the Poblano burger and I would love to see it on their regular menu; it would be my go-to burger. I liked the idea of the Buffalo cauliflower but it didn't withstand take out very well ( steam in the to-go box makes it too soft and it should have some crisp or texture). Customer service excellent. I would like to try the Buffalo Cauliflower again and the please tweak the Buffalo Chicken sandwich; my husband is looking for the perfect one in El Paso and we love local businesses. Cannot believe I haven't written a 5 star review yet for this place!! Have been here at least 10 times and I have greatly enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food each and every time. The food also comes at what I would call a great price!! My personal favorite is the Chipotle BBQ chicken sandwich (runner up being the fish tacos!). YUM. I also really enjoy the seasoning that they add to their fries -- it tastes a bit like lime (so if like isn't your thing, let them know). Have taken lots of friends here and plan to take family here when they visit. Love this place & happy to have found it!! read more

Wow! Place is great! Thanks God for another local business in the far NE. Way too many stupid chain restaurants. Tried it out for lunch and am now back for dinner! The owner obviously cares a lot about good food and good taste. I had the OG borracho burger and loved it. He made a Chile de Arbil sauce that was incredible with the perfect amount of kick. Service is friendly and nice. The young lady at the counter in the evening was very kind and helped me get the exact sauce I was looking for. Support this place and it's great food! read more

I've been wanting to check this place out, but was never in the area. Finally got a chance to check it out and the reviews are spot on. This may be my new burger joint. The fries are cooked perfectly and the seasoning they use is damn good. I had the green chile cheeseburger with fries.... The burger was soooo goooood! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. On the side note, the mini sliders aren't that great compared to the green chile cheeseburger. My child did not want to eat the mini burgera after tasting my burger. Also, keep in mind that they have daily specials and that includes the cubano and chile cheese steak. That was the only disaplointing thing. You cant order the cubano sandwich on a Sunday. read more

This place is a true great locally owned business. The staff(most likely the owners) were Top Notch. The food was the best burger I've had in a while maybe ever. My husband raved about his Green Chili Burger too. Skip the seasoning on the fries unless you like the popular Tajin Seasoning. My niece fell head over heals in love with their chicken nuggets, one point above Chickfila she said. Heck, even the toilet paper in the bathrooms was the best grade(Members Mark, better to me than Charming Ultra, it's what we be buy at home). And to top it off, they're earth friendly. Dear carne asada fries -- where have you been all my life (fries, green chile queso, grilled steak bits, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole cream and spicy salsa). I can eat these as a small meal in itself. You get a lot of them, even when just ordering as a side. The burgers are also excellent -- the spice is savory, but not overpowering; you can tell more than just salt and pepper is used, but you're not inundated with too much garlic, etc. I suggest the daily burger/sandwich specials as well -- you'll find gems. The dailies aren't on the website, so you do have to call. read more

Bumped into this place after a round of golf. I needed to call to see if it was open. Once I found out it was, the person on the phone asked me how far away I was. I told him I was about 10 minutes out. He asked if I wanted to order so it could be ready when we arrive. That is what you call attention to detail. The burger was fantastic. My fellow golf buddy is trying to stay away from carbs so they offered to wrap it in lettuce. When I'm back on this side of town, I believe I found my spot. read more
