Hard to get good service like that anymore and here I have had it every time!!! I had the Griefo first it was soooo good, tried the Humbodlt and today the midwest club. (Add the apicey ranch you won't be mad!!) lol Hard to say my fav. Probably midwest club for the bacon. The food is Fresh and delicious. Who doesn't like a toasted sub and for the $$ is perfect. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered two subs and a Rice Krispie around 8 PM. It's now midnight as I sit here and regretfully inform you that not only did I JUST get my order. Yes, 4 hours after placing it. But, it was also completely WRONG. I would strongly discourage ordering from this restaurant. EDIT: also woke up at 4 AM with aggressive food poisoning. By far the worst sandwich experience I've ever had. This place needs to be inspected by the health department. read more

Was just there last night my first experience --- WOW! Everything about my experience was perfect. The staff stole the show. Matt was our bartender who provided several suggestions of his very favorites food options, gave a taste when I was deciding between drafts and was always keeping an eye on us. He was genuine, kind and clearly enjoyed his job. Matt was also training Sean who was working his very first day who was also attentive and welcomed us back on the way out. They really made us feel special. I can't forget to mention the gal who delivered our food who worked in the kitchen -- she was so friendly and even shared with us some of her food favorites and told us how much she loved working there and being able to work with fresh ingredients. We had ordered the nachos and she shared with us how she likes them with Cool Ranch Doritos -- I am trying that the next time for sure. She even came by one more time before we left and offered us a meatball sandwich that was extra and thanked us for being so nice. What!! Nachos with Chicken served with nacho cheese Doritos and drizzled with ranch dressing. Didn't even feel guilty it was so good and easy to share. Next time I am trying it with Cool Ranch. White Widow toasted sub served with chicken, bacon and ranch. Came out with warm toasted bread and pickle. Look forward to trying more sandwiches because this one was perfect. We ordered the 12 inch and shared. The vibe of the place is comfy and chill. We sat at the bar in their comfy bar stools but they also have large booths too. So this place is stupid good. Back when we moved to Wicker in October this was our first dining experience in the new hood. It did not disappoint. The sandwiches are absolutely incredible. I typically get the pakalolo which is ham, pineapple, and a signature sauce. Jazz it up with the garlic bread and...FIRE. I always intend on getting a small size, but can't resist and end up eating an entire medium sandwich. There are tons of vegetarian options, and while I'm a carnivore, these sandwiches are also really tasty. The female bartender is very attentive and considerate with great energy, and you get a discounted pint if you buy a sandwich. The overall casual fun vibe is a "must" if you're in the neighborhood. 10 stars!! read more

So excited this location finally opened and even more excited I can relive my college days. The locations offers outdoor seating, pick up and delivery. They're fast, sandwiches are dank and their employees are super friendly. We sat outside and the owner himself walked out to turn on two heat lamps for us. They also sell booze and koolaid. My boyfriend has tried Cheba Hut before in Vegas and couldn't stop raving about it , so we finally went to go try it today at Wicker. The atmosphere is super cool but the wait time is pretty long. I know they take their time but we were literally the only people there and waited 35 minutes for two sandwiches. The best thing about this place is definitely the quality of bread ! Very delicious. I love Italian sandwiches but this one was lacking something , I'm not sure what. But I did enjoy the addition of the pickle. I'm not a huge fan of BLT's but I actually enjoyed it more than the Italian. The red sauce was flavorful, spicy and sweet ! The cheese bread had all the right flavors but my bread was literally cold. The cheese was not melted at all , I could pull the slices apart with ease. If I were drunk/high , I would definitely give this place 5 stars. This place is such a refreshing change and a real gem for Division street. The owners must have their hearts invested in this place because the friendly and attentive, FUN staff are soooo fabulous. I had a shit ass night I had ordered something else before cheba hut. supposedly my order was picked up (from a different restaurant) and the person had said it wasn't ready or something because by the time another Uber eats driver got there the person handing orders had told him that my Hawaiian food has been picked up by someone else. The Uber guy called me and told me to call Uber. Greattttt now to look for something else that isn't fast food or too heavy. No. I stopped by on a Monday evening for two subs, French onion soup, and hummus plate. None of it was memorable or good. Its like they slapped some ingredients together on toasted bread and charged us $35. In top of it all, whoever packed our food mustn't have cared bc they placed the two subs on top of a small cup of soup for it to be crushed and spilled all over my newly washed car! Okay...maybe that was a mistake. But the food wasn't even enjoyable. The onions in the soup weren't even cooked. The soup..what was left was luke warm and the cheesy top was not melted. It was awful. The $7 hummus platter consisted of cucumber sticks and pita bread with 4 tiny cups of hummus. What? Where's the tomatoes and olives listed on their menu? The subs...God just pass. When I called "Steve" answered and could just say, "like maaaaaan I am so sorry. uuuhhhhh man that sucks. Uhhh well what do you want. we will do anything uhhh to make it up to you man...." No offense but he sounded toasted himself. For the five staff that was there but our experience to have ended as it did... speaks for the kinda place this place is. Cheba Hut is my new go to for a high quality sub. The subs all have very fresh ingredients, and the bread is amazing. The garlic bread is the best. From order to eating takes about 5 minutes if there's no line. Bring a friend, and share the 12 inch "blunt" size. It's more than enough for 2 people. If the schtick of this place is that everyone working there is high, then they hit it out of the park. Let's start with 20 minutes to make two 4" sandwiches. Maybe they were understaffed you say? Nope, there were at least 10 people behind the counter talking and laughing which made me feel like my food order was interfering with their party. The food was just okay. I think we've legitimately enjoyed every single sandiwhc we've tried and I've become a regular and come in all the time nowadays.
