I've been coming here since 2017, and Sergio and Francisco never disappoints. The food is great and especially the fish and shrimp tacos.

In fact, their air-conditioning was a reprieve from a hot day when we walked in. Alex greeted us with his friendly smile & very attentive to us even giving us some extra beans & radish to go. The various meat in the tacos were fresh & tender seasoned well, not overly salty & not spicy for the taste of a non-Mexican consumer. I would recommend people to try this place as it is one of a few family-owned establishments that really worth trying.

The store itself was small and accommodates parties of 4 or less well. They have a kiosk for ordering. This was a classic burrito so it came with beans, rices, onions, cilantro, cheese. Everything was seasoned well and I enjoyed it! I'd be interested to try their other items in the next visit.

Back in the age of dinosaurs, otherwise known as the 1980s, there used to be a smattering of El…read moreLocos around the San Gabriel Valley. And I have some genuine nostalgia for the place. When I was a little kid, my dad loved going to El Loco for the machaca burritos. I remember them being really good, although in fairness, my palate at the time was probably not exactly Michelin ready. So when I realized this El Loco was still around, I had to come check it out for old time's sake. I went with the chili relleno burrito, and I'm happy to report that it was delicious. And enormous. This thing was so big I could probably take a nap on it. It was cheesy, packed with flavor, and just plain old satisfying. There is one little caveat, though. I noticed the total seemed too high when I paid, and sure enough, I had been overcharged by about four bucks. I pointed it out, and the woman immediately apologized and said she'd made a mistake. I don't think there was anything nefarious going on, but it did leave me wondering how often a mistake like that goes unnoticed when someone isn't paying close attention. So, you know, maybe keep an eye on your receipt. Still, that's a relatively minor ding on what was otherwise a really good experience. The burrito was great, the nostalgia was strong, and I got to revisit a place that I remember from when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. And here's a fun little piece of movie trivia: Good Burger, starring Kenan Thompson, was filmed at this very location. So you can come here for a chili relleno burrito and get your Nickelodeon nostalgia on. That's a pretty solid afternoon.

I've passed Tacos Gavilan for YEARS off the 10 freeway and we've never stopped by. Yesterday, my…read moredaughter and I wanted Tacos so we figured this was a good option off the freeway. We ordered off the website, which we found to be EXTREMELY easy and efficient. The pickup time is shown and it doesn't vary much from what they give you - not like freakin' King Taco. That alone made me happy! I walked in to pick up our food and it was packed to perfection! Literally. The young man packing the order gave me all the salsa, onions + cilantro, and limón I needed. Condiments are packaged individually in their own package and I appreciate the convenience, because I don't have to worry about the little cups opening and spilling in the bag, The tacos are packaged neatly in sturdy plates not wrapped in foil and covered with a plastic cover. The tacos are average size with mild meat portions, it's not the best and it's not the worse. I personally love the small tortillas, but that is up to interpretation based on preference. The drinks are packaged in little travel to go pouches, not cups which I also love. It reminds me of Mexico and the times I was given a drink in a "bolsa" - iykyk. Lastly, I found out they have drive-thru which I've never known. I've always passed it by because I didn't want to get off, but this drive-thru lane is a game changer. I will definitely be coming back again when we are in the area. I will stop here any day over waiting 40-60 mins for tacos/burritos elsewhere. Gosh! I almost forgot. The grilled onions and beans de olla that they offer are the cherry on top. We loved them. We have no pictures because we ate in our car. I do have a picture of my drink though.

Fingers were soaked in oil and my appetite was gone completely I called the manager and he told me he would remake the burrito and assured me it wouldn't happen again... guess what... Absolutely DISGUSTING. there wasn't even a rush so I don't know how this kind of "quality" would be overlooked a SECOND TIME. Place has gone downhill. Don't waste your money or time coming. Heartburn and a greasy mess waiting to happen.

The asada is premium steak chunks that is superior to any other asada you would get from a regular taco spot. The watermelon juice is one of the most refreshing drinks one could get on a hot day. The hard shell crunchy shredded beef tacos are so huge, i got full off one on one visit to thus spot. The nachos are heavy as hell and totally worth ordering. The service can take a little bit if time if there is other cars in the drive thru... but, it's well worth the wait. If you hungry... this place will not disappoint. This will not only fill your hunger, it will change your life. Good food, great service, friendly employees. Try the Habanero hot sauce while you are there. That hot sauce is one of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and try this amazing fast food spot.

As you drive into the lot, you'll see 2 sets of drive thru's - both work. Kinda of like the old school In-N-Out's. I already knew I wanted the breakfast burrito with sausage. I also wanted to try the taquitos, but I held off and got an order of fries instead. After placing my order, I drove up to the window....I had no idea where to stop to be honest. Then I saw the register, so I stopped there. She employee read my order back to me, I paid and waited. It didn't take long. Got home and I dug in. Breakfast Burrito - it's thick. They filled that tortilla with beans, eggs, sausage and potato's. That tortilla was holding on for dear life. Look I'm a sucker for a good breakfast burrito and this one hit the spot. They didn't skimp out in the sausage and eggs. Most places fill it with beans and fillers. Rero's did not do that, it was a good ratio. Fries - look, you cant mess up fries. They gave you a huge box filled with them They also gave me a small bag of tortilla chips and they tasted a little stale. Like Chipotle chips. Overall good value and the burrito hit the spot. I would definitely come back
