We ordered the Cajun Pasta which had a sauce that smelled and tasted horribly. We also got the sampler appetizer and while the tenders were good and the Queso was ok - the spinach dip was literally creamed spinach with a layered or cooked cheese and no dip. First time eating here. I want to like Cheddar's but I'm not quite sure. Food was mediocre at best. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken over rice with their kale salad. Boy oh boy was that chicken dry! I mean, I know it was white meat but come on. It looked like they left it on the grill too long. The kale salad was fine. Nothing special. Tasted and looked like the one out of the bag from Sam's Club...but with a different dressing. My water/H2O was great...but wasn't refilled. I will go back and try something else. read more

I come here frequently and there has never been one bad experience. Spinach dip is yummy! I normally get the salmon which is always fresh tasty and delicious. Anybody that comes here for the first time needs to try the chicken fried chicken it is absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed our dinner at Cheddars very much! Arriving at 7pm made us nervous that we may have to wait a long time to be seated. In fact, we were offered a table immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and professional ( This, unfortunately seems to be a bit of a novelty these days!) Despite our evening visit, I was able to order a lunch combo of potato soup and a Caesar salad. Both were delicious. The soup nice and hearty. My companion had the chicken fingers with baby carrots. He loved the chicken and we enjoyed the sweet carrots. (I stole a couple from his plate!) We feel like the pricing was very good for the quality. The decor was relaxing and pleasing. We have been coming to this location for years with my family and never once had an issue. Two people from our party ordered steak they were sent back undercooked. It took 3 times to get it corrected and even then one of the steaks was not Cooked properly. The manager was indifferent to the situation, basically no apology, until the end and then it seemed not sincere. The waitress was great and made the best of a bad situation. We were refunded for one of the steaks not the other-we both ended up taking them home to cook them longer-so disappointing. Where have you been?? Went for lunch with a girlfriend and Omg. We went on Friday and it was busy. Wondering if we would get in and out in our allowed time, we proceeded. We were immediately seated and the server came to take our drink order. We also ordered at the same time and advised we were on a time restricted lunch. We both had hamburger and side salad. Salad came out first. I had Cesar. I was average. A little over dressed. The burger was so good. Hot juicy and fresh. My only suggestion is I don't like mayo and the server didn't ask anything about our order. As I sat there I saw other food come out and it looked so good. I am totally going back for more.. We were EXTREMELY disappointed in Cheddars tonite. And it will be a long time before we as regular customers go back. We waited an hour for our food, my fish, baked potatoe and green beans were cold, my husband and sons food was lukewarm at best. Our waiter was also the bartender who took our order than hardly came back. We needed drink refills and needed to flag him down. I asked for my food to be warmed up... waited 20 minutes and my husband and son were nearly finished with their meal. So I watched them eat their lukewarm food. I went up to the bar and told him not to bring out what he was going to warm up because my family was finished eating for the most part and to take my meal off the bill. Some of the food here is really good...some not so much. Their Momte Cristo sandwiches are great but mostly made of bread. You are lucky if the fries come out hot. The staff is friendly enough. The biggest reason for lower rating is value. I got a cup of soup that came out in a mini bowl. It was laughable and it was literally 4 or 5 spoonfuls of soup. I have included a photo. It was $4.29. Delish! Dinner - All of us ordered some version of ribs for our main dish. You really MUST get be ribs!!!! I did ribs and shrimp, my hubby did ribs and chicken fingers (they have tons of different rib combos), and my girlfriend did just all ribs! The ribs are thick and juicy and fall right off the bone. Where else can you get catfish and monte cristo sandwiches in the same place? We recently took my family here and there were 8 of us. We ordered the philly cheesesteak, catfish, monte cristo, ribs, onion rings, and some honey croissants. Came on Tuesday 10/22/2019. Have to say as busy it was, I was worried. Then the server came, and everything was perfect from then on. I ordered the blackened catfish, and I don't know who prepared it but it was absolutely fantastic. We asked our waiter to express the gratitude to the chef. Everything was perfect, the appetizers of queso salsa and ground beef was perfect. The salads were great, and the catfish was hands down the best catfish I've had anywhere in Colorado. I have come in to this restaurant a few times now and during different times of the day and different days of the week. Each experience is different. My favorite days to go is definitely Wednesday's or Thursday's during lunch time. They are typically not as busy during that time. The service really depends on what area you are sitting in. If you sit at the bar area you typically get your food and drinks faster, since it's the place to hang out for all of the staff there. They do have Tvs on every wall so if you come by yourself you have something to watch, if they do take a few mins on getting the food out. As for the dinning area I never had a good experience sitting there. Both times our server disappeared for long periods of time even though they only had two groups in their section. It took us close to two hrs from the time we walked in the door to be out the door. Since they don't really care if you have been waiting for your food for almost an hr. Both times my food came out cold. Only reason I didn't send it back is because I was starving by that time and needed to go back to work. I really enjoy the fact that you can get the lunch portion even for dinner and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to eat here. They have some good healthy options if you are on a diet. *****Also bring a jacket with you. They don't believe in keeping the place warm and have the A/C on. Call me a simpleton, but I've never eaten at a Cheddar's that I didn't love. Basically a chain restaurant, but one of the most underrated ones. Maybe because no one really knows what Cheddar's is all about? Maybe I'm a little too passionate about Cheddar's, but have you had their honey butter croissants? Talk. About. Fluffy. Really, the fluffiest croissants in all the land. Like someone else has mentioned, Cheddar's has a generic menu, all the basic stuff you could ever want. Sometimes I don't know what I want and basic is good. The menu is the perfect size and super straight to the point. I pretty much always get the same thing when I'm here. Grilled catfish with broccoli and sweet potato fries (worth the extra 70 cents), a house salad, and mango iced tea (free refills for the win). My food is always cooked the same and always tastes great. Service is always pretty good and the ambience is a lot classier than you'd expect. Even at the busiest of times, we have never waited longer than 15 minutes for a table. Conclusion: Eat here. Honey butter croissants. read more

My girlfriend and I showed up as we were in the area. Nice restaurant, and not too busy. Wasn't immediately greeted as the Mgr was talking to his workers. We wanted to sit in the bar to watch some baseball and they have 4 TVs. We ordered the fish tacos and lemon peppered chicken . The fish tacos were great. I also ordered the Texas tea drink, omg it was great!!! It was huge and very much worth the money. The lemon peppered chicken was good and very filling. We both also got side salads, they are must haves. The Cesar and the house salad were both big and delicious! The service want horrible but it also wasn't over the top fantastic! (NOT COOL) Then our lunch came out 2 minutes later, so our Sandwich got cold. Disappointed. Have to say the Monte Cristo was YUMMY... When you have a large party & children it's not a good idea to give the Bartender the table. Took 10 minutes everytime we wanted a drink & had to flag someone down. Other servers were helperful dropping off drinks and delivering food, but it wasn't their table. She not only had to serivce our table, but make all the drinks for everyone else in the restaurant. What a great experience! We had such a nice server- knowledgeable of the menu and excited to be at work! The variety of food was extensive. We had a cheeseburger- delicious and cooked perfectly. The Alfredo pasta which was also good and large portion. The kids meals were good and nice portion size. The Mac and cheese was delicious! It was busy on a Thursday night but we didn't have to wait. First off, we went to Cheddar's last night (Saturday) after going 4 different places and being told we had an hour to and hour and forty five minute wait. We called Cheddar's, told them we had 6 adults and a baby and they quoted us 20 min. When we arrived, we checked in and were told about 15 minutes. We ended up only waiting the 15 min for a table which was great because my brother and sister in law had their 2 week old baby and we didn't want to be waiting long. However, we did get seated at this tiny booth that was not going to accommodate the baby we said we had. It was a very frustrating moment but the manager walked up to us and told us he was working on combining 2 tables and would have it ready in 5 min or less. Thank goodness he saved the day because we were all extremely irritated that the hostess would try fitting 6 adults and a baby in a carrier in a tiny booth!!!! As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by our new waiter and he was excellent! We ordered our drinks and food very quickly and had amazing service from him. The food was all around pretty good, nothing fancy but quick easy food. For 6 adults, our bill was $63 (granted I shared a meal with my mom but still, cheap for sit down). I think their prices are definitely reasonable especially for a sit down restaurant in our area. The lighting in Cheddar's is interesting, they have little spot like lights and depending on which way you move you may be right in the light or completely in a dark spot. We had to keep rotating chairs when we would hold the baby so that she wasn't in direct spot light. I do like the fan feature on the ceiling, it creates a calming effect. The restaurant gets very loud, especially on a Saturday night! I do feel like this place is relaxing though, especially for our family of 6. All in all, it was a pretty good experience, I do like coming here and will continue to. I think they need to work with their hostesses and learn how to accommodate certain families (with babies) and maybe work on their attitudes but other than that, I had a good time.
