It's not good place to be at I had 2 job interviews there one with Beau and one with Bryant, Bryant told me I got the job at the end of the second interview and he said he would have me start really soon but they never gave me a call or day for me to start and I called them like 6 times for what the day would be they said Beau who is the GM would call me back and give me a starting day but I never got a call back or anything they pretty much blew me off on all the calls I made specially Beau they never gave me an answer and never got back to me. They made it look like they we're trying to ignore all my calls. Beau and Bryant are just both really insecure and just don't know how to manage a company obviously they need to be taught on how there doing a pretty bad job on communication. On how it was for me!!! Beau and Bryant are just terrible at management and are not meant for managing a restaurant at all. they just really need to work on it and try to actually get better if they actually want to get better at management!!! read more

I went to this location with my boyfriend for a quick date night last weekend. The wait was only about 5 minutes, which is great for a weekend in Cool Springs. However, our server was not properly trained and really brought down our experience. He forgot to put in our appetizer order, rung up the wrong drink (ordered a Painkiller and got a Bloody Mary), and brought the wrong side with my entree. So, overall, it was not a great experience. I've ordered from here in the past (to-go) and I've had items left out of the order, which I didn't realize til I got home. Prices and food are good, though. read more

It was a random weekday around 4 and the restaurant was relatively empty so I thought I would go here for a quick meal. I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo with broccoli and a baked potato. I also had a spinach dip for an appetizer. The spinach dip was average so no complaints. There was queso in the dip which made the taste a little different. My meal included an over buttered potato, dried out rice (under my grilled shrimp), room temperature shrimp, unseasoned broccoli and chicken tenders. I've had this meal at cheddars in NC and TX but this time it was not worthy of even finishing. I need to find another cheddars in the TN area that can live up to my cheddars standards. read more

I hate that 5 is all I can give, because I would definitely rate them a 10 if I could. This was our first time eating here and we will definitely be back. My kids loved the fish tank and the big dining room fan. We had the triple treat appetizer with the nachos, potato wedges and the Wisconsin cheese bites. It was all fantastic, but the cheese bites were phenomenal. My 4 year old had the kids Mac n Cheese and loved it. My 11 year old had the kids grilled cheese and fries, he ate it all, which doesn't always happen. My hubby had the ribs and chicken tenders with a salad (the honey butter croissant OMG yummy) broccoli and cheese casserole and green beans. I got the steak and fried shrimp with broccoli and a baked potato. The steak was the best I have had in a long time it was SO TENDER! The broccoli was perfect it was soft but not mushy still tasted fresh and flavorful. The shrimp was large. We had to bring home three large to go boxes of food. We did splurge on dessert the fudge cake for the hubby and I (EXCELLENT). The boys split the monster cookie and LOVED it. Our server, Bryan, was TOP NOTCH! It has been quite a while since we had service this on point at a restaurant. After we finished we were walking by the fish tank and the manger asked us how our dinners was and we told her great but the server was spectacular! She asked who and when we told her Bryan and she informed us that he was brand new and had never waited table before. I couldn't believe it. It was great! Refilled drinks before we could even ask. He was definitely friendly! This is definitely a new favorite for our family when we are in the Cool Springs area and looking for a place to eat. read more

Worst experience. Worst management. Arrived at 1:13 pm on 4/26/19. I know the exact time because I had a doc appt nearby at 2:00 so was keeping up with the time. Maybe only 40% of the tables had customers so not close to busy. After having to go inform the host and stop a passing by waitress that nobody had come to our table, our waitress showed up at 1:26. 13 minute wait to ever see our waitress. She said she was dealing with a "gift card problem". The whole time we were waiting the table 10 feet from us was having social time with 3 other waitress and waiters chatting it up with 2 customers that must have been locals. They'd pulled up seats and were even sitting in the booth with these patrons. The whole time we are staring at them clearly waiting on service. At about 1:30 we ordered. Both of us ordered blackened salmon salads. At 1:47 our food was still not there. I found our waitress and said just cancel my order I've got to leave. No apology ever this whole time. Ordered curbside pickup, 2 orders of the fried chicken with gravy. Very nice staff but the food was not very good. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The gravy was the consistency of soup and tasteless. It appeared to be watered down. Will not order again. For $30, the food should be better. read more

Great service! Nothing short of the typical great food at cheddars everywhere else. Cheddars always has a wide selection (sometimes too much) for unbeatable prices. The food is great. The food was really good for the price but the service was unacceptable. We ordered a spinach dip appetizer. After 20 minutes I went to the hostess stand and asked for assistance. It was delivered at 25 minutes. Exactly when our food was delivered. The appetizer plates were set in a stack, the food was auctioned and no empty glasses were removed. We sat empty glasses and plates at the adjacent empty table and not one employee cleared them or perceived a problem. The hostess tried to seat said table but relocated upon seeing dirty dishes. But didn't t clear them. While our server was polite and really trying to please she like the manager didn't know what good service and subsequent service recovery entailed. While I appreciate the discount on our bill I would have much preferred a nice meal with great service and I'm willing to pay. I probably won't be back for a while but I wish you well. read more

We were really looking forward to Cheddar's opening in Brentwood but what a disappointment. First the good things. Attractive, comfortable decor and service was great. My ice tea didn't come close to being empty before another arrived. It's too bad the food didn't rise to the same level as the service. We started with the Chips and Queso. The chips were very stale and the Queso was very bland. My wife had the potato soup and club sandwich. The soup was very good but the bread used for the club sandwich was not toasted as you typically expect with a club sandwich. Rather it had the texture of a grilled cheese sandwich. The manager blamed it on the potato bread they use. I had the chicken tenders. The chicken was very moist and was nicely breaded. However the breading was again very bland. It just had a strong floury taste to it. Maybe the kitchen needs to learn how to season. read more

Not a good start to dinner when we wait more than 5 minutes to have a server take our drink order. When I politely gave our server a heads up that my husband has a really big thirst and could she "please bring him 2 drinks at a time?" She was really confused. When she returned 10 minutes later with our appetizer she brought 1 drink which hubby literally drank while she stood there taking our food order. I was like, "see what I mean?" She had a blank stare. We didn't see her for another 15 minutes by which time hubby had drank my water. When she finally brought refills he, again, drank his while she stood there talking to us. Ugh. I realize this is out of the normal but she acted like she couldn't and wouldn't accommodate our request for him to have 2 drinks at a time. This place isn't quite what it used to be. Last night (12/14/18) we showed up somewhere between 9:00 and 9:30 pm, later than we usually eat but I had just purchased a new vehicle so we went to eat late. When we showed up the hostess was too busy in conversation with what we thought was just a friend to help us at first. Turns out the girl that was laying across the front bench in the waiting area, with a bowl full of mashed potatoes was actually an employee that had recently got off work. Next, 3 more employees (2 of which were off shift and 1 that was supposed to be working) come and started loudly talking and continue ignoring us while speaking very inappropriately and crudely. We were very hungry which is why we didn't leave at this point. We finally got to sit down and our waitress, Holly, was wonderful, she was the only waitress we saw, raving from table to table to help patrons. Over the next 10 minutes we watched the same employees that were supposed to be off their shift run back and forth from outside to the kitchen, and the same girl with the mashed potatoes walk around with her bowl of mashed potatoes, being extremely obnoxious. I'm not sure where management was last night, but clearly these employees were not afraid to be as rude and annoying as possible. Not to mention, when we finally did get our food, the quality of it just wasn't great(I'm sure the kitchen staff was distracted by all the people constantly running and giggling in and out of the kitchen). read more

You just about can't go wrong with Cheddar's. I've eaten at Cheddar's restaurants all across Tennessee and I've never been disappointed. I've eaten at this Cheddar's location a few times. Recently, I went there today for lunch with my husband. Each time I've gone, whether the parking lot is packed or not, I've not waited more than 15 minutes. The parking lot is large and the restaurant is as well. So, it can easily accommodate many people. The hostesses have always been friendly and greeted us with smiling faces. All I've ever ordered is fish (grilled salmon once or twice and grilled catfish) and it was seasoned well and very tasty. The fish entrees usually come served on a bed a rice with 2 additional sides. I ordered the broccoli and cheese casserole and the mashed potatoes. No complaints! The portion sizes are awesome, your food comes out in a timely manner, and the prices are very affordable. We will certainly be back! read more

Very disappointed with service..1.Asked for highchair and got seated in area that didn't allow so waited 15 minutes for booster seat with an active toddler 2.Asked for soup pre meal and it arrived 5-10 minutes after main dish 3. At food delivery asked for additional utensils as we got 2 not 3 sets..after my husband ate 1/2 meal with his fingers my husband walked to bar and asked manager for a set along along with a drink refill (that had never been checked in 1st 45 minutes at table). 4. After waiting 15 minutes for check and no sign of waiter asked other server for it..luckily manager who came over to print check realized that my husband was who asked for refill and utensils so ended up comped meal..after he originally mentioned just a discounted one. It was a very unpleasant time, service was the worst I've had. Definitely won't be coming back here and will not recommend. We came here as a party of 5, and 3 of us liked our food, that's why I Sam giving this place 3 stars. The good ones were a salad that I don't remember, a grilled chicken dish and my New Orleans pasta (it was very tasty and flavorful, the pasta was cooked to just al dente, and even the toast that came with it was perfect, I liked it very much). The bad ones were the sirloin steak and my husband's ribeye. Both should have been medium, but were way overcooked and very dry. I tried the ribeye, it was very bland and hard, I didn't like it at all. It came with two sides of your choosing (Mac and cheese and buttered corn), they were also just mediocre. My brother-in-law's sirloin was even worse, and he asked for a replacement after taking the first bite, as it was burnt. They were very apologetic and gave him a new one, but the steak was still over cooked. They also gave him a gift card because of this episode, which we appreciated. So the food can be hit or miss, the service was ok, it was a bit difficult to get our waitress to refill our water, but it was also a very busy night. read more

Bad service today, we waited 10 minutes before we even saw our server, when we did we where ready to order, so we did. 15 minutes later our food comes, still didn't even have anything to drink (we only ordered water with lemon) so, with our food sitting in front of us, we told the food runner. He goes and gets our waters. The BOWL of tortillas soup literally was 1/4 deep and just broth with 2-3 tortillas strips in it. NOT one piece of chicken. Not one. Ugh! There was some mix up and confusion as we seemed to have two waiters, and neither knew what the other was doing. As a weary, sleep deprived Canadian traveller, I was quite grumpy from the heat and humidity (which I'm not used to,) and I sort of took it out on our waiters when half my order didn't arrive, and the part that did wasn't at all what I expected. But these fine people didn't give me any guff back, a manager came to our table and "made things right" in a friendly and professional manner, offering apologies and menu alternatives I could try. When the check came, they didn't even charge for the food I finally decided on! I am amazed at how accommodating they were to one very difficult customer... ME. Good food Great Service! Three of us had a nice dinner! Baby back ribs! Batter fried shrimp, and the light calories sweet heat chicken and shrimp all were quite tasty and we had a great server! We had a great experience. The food was delicious. Lots of good food options. I love that the "healthy" options were actually the same price or less than some of the other options. And delicious. We liked everything we got. Ribs, Chicken tenders, the healthy spicy chicken dish (can't remember the name) were all good. Love the decor.
