Restaurant wasn't that busy. Our server was new to the restaurant (maybe to even being a server in general). He was a very nice man but not on the ball. Took 30 min to get drinks. Our food took forever and sat under the hot plate a long time. It was not good except for the chicken tenders. Would never go back unfortunately.

Wow! Wow! WOW! Been here a couple of times and we're definitely hooked! Cheddar's by far has become one of my favorite places to eat in Cleveland now. We were seated promptly, and our waiter, Chris, was spot on. He continually checked on us, and it was done with a smile. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming as well. The food has been on point, a good value, and delicious. The cheddar cheese bites (with their ranch dipping sauce, which is some of the best ranch ever!), are a delectable treat. The complimentary honey butter crossaints are phenomenal and very addicting. My go-to is most definitely the Monte Cristo sandwich. If you've ever had Disneyland's Monte Cristo sandwich, Cheddar's Monte Cristo is very much alike. It's on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and is fluffy. Their raspberry jam is delicious and a perfect pairing. This night, we also ordered the half rack of ribs and broccoli casserole. Both were DELICIOUS! We've been happy with this Cheddar's location as it has been reliable and consistent with friendly service. A thanks to the Cheddar's staff for all you do!

This place is very inviting, friendly staff. It was quick to be seated. The food is spot on , full a favor and everything is freshly made. Table server was one of the best I've had. I will make a return visit. Keep up the good work

Their honey butter croissants are to die for. Golden, flaky crust with a soft, airy interior. Perfectly topped off with sweet honey butter that melts in your mouth. Sirloin was a perfect medium: inside was moist and pink while outside was seared perfectly. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I got it with mashed potatoes which had some chunks of small potatoes that I love. Corn was sweet and delicate. Super nice bartender. Can't recommend this place for dinner enough.

Cheddar's is great!! Traveling from Minnesota and stopped in for dinner. Food was good, but what made it a good experience was the service. Our server, Blair (I'm not sure how to spell it), was amazing!! She was really charming and was very on top of getting us what we need. I would come back just for Blair, if I didn't live 15 hours away.

But we ate the cold tamales and over cooked chicken because it was late. Family joined us two nights later and they, too, wanted to try Champy's so we agreed, thinking Friday night's experience was just not a good night. Gotta tell you - we should have just set the Benjamin Franklin $100 bill on fire - it would have been more fun to watch it burn and tell a story about it later. Spending $99.00 for burned, hard chicken livers, two pieces of once again overcooked fried chicken, one order of pickles and 6 wings - holy smoke! Terrible food for the second night in a weekend. When we got back to the hotel, the clerk at the front desk and the bartender asked us why in the world we went there - they would NEVER recommend this place. We've been to Champy's MANY times at various locations but listen when I tell you - this one in Cleveland is the worst in the chain. If you need a Champy's "fix" - first get your meal at Aubrey's across the parking lot, then just sit outside on Champy's balcony, try to overlook the pit bulls on chains and order a drink - your night will be much better.

Our waitress left much to be desired.. waited a long time for her to show to the table and take our drink order.. she apologized for the wait. Then we ordered.. waited again for drinks. A longer than expected time for food when comparing to places like longhorn or Texas Roadhouse which are competition. The food was ok. I forgot they season their steak quite heavily.. this steak was basically eating spice blend. Some enjoy that, to me not so much. I want to taste steak not over seasoned subpar steak. Usually the amount of seasoning on my steak indicates covering very low quality. It wasn't priced low vs competition. We had a child's dinner at the table for medium steak tips. They came out raw to medium. I was not comfortable letting it be consumed. Took quite awhile to get waitresses attention.. and the only offer was to put them back on the grill. I'm not a fan given cooks are usually not pleased with a kicked back steak. This dinner took way too long to get the meals and then the bill. I'm sure someone will say why didn't you talk to the manager.. what manager? One did not make themselves known in the establishment and having to return a child's steak should be prompt enough a boss figure to appear.

I told the person at the front that I just need a table for 1, and she said the wait would be about 10 minutes. Thankfully though, I only had to wait 2 minutes and 12 seconds. The booth area I was seated it wasn't dirty or damaged, and it had a very classy look to it. I ordered the "Reese's Peanut Butter & Nutella French Toast", which comes with 2 eggs (I ordered sunny-side up) and sausage (I went with turkey sausage). The food took 17 minutes and 50 seconds to arrive. I note how long it took for transparency purposes only (I had a book with me to read, so I didn't mind the wait). After ordering, I did use the men's bathroom, which is a single bathroom (thankfully, it was vacant). Its not a very big bathroom, but I didn't feel claustrophobic in it, and was well kept. Here's my thoughts on each part of the meal: The eggs were cooked well and tasty The sausages (it came with 2) were not dry and didn't taste like frozen brand named sausages from a grocery story The French toast was great. Very peanut butter-y flavor (which is what I was wanting), and the strawberries were vibrant and sweet. It came with syrup on the side, but honestly, the French toasted was great even without the syrup (though I did put the syrup on after I tasted the toast as is). Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal and experience at the restaurant. Thanks to my server Kayla for being friendly, and thanks to Fisch (I hope I spelled your name right) for making a tasty meal. Now, I had mentioned to Kayla how I was interested in trying out the "American Dream Golden Pancake" meal at some future point, and after I had paid for the meal, a guy came to my table (I'm sorry, I didn't ask for your name) and not only inquired if I was satisfied with my meal but also offered me the "American Dream Golden Pancake" meal to take home for free. This was a highly unexpected goodwill offer which I took up. This meal also comes with 2 eggs (I chose scrambled) and sausage (I chose pork). Now, as with any meal you take to go, its not going to be as good as when you have it in the actual restaurant. Despite that however, I was able to reheat the meal good, and here's my thoughts on the items in the meal: The eggs were flavorful and not rubbery The sausage patty wasn't dry and was tasty The pancake was crispy (I toasted it in my oven), the strawberry and blueberry cremes were great. The strawberries and blueberries were sweet. Golden Yolk was a truly great spot to eat it, and if you're in the Cleveland, TN area, I'd highly recommend coming here. Update 2025-12-09: I came back to Golden Yolk for a lunch a little more than a week before my birthday. This time, my order was a Southwest Power Omelette with a side of Mixed Greens and Cinnamon Raisin Toast (I could've picked Sourdough or Wheat Berry). Everything was great, and since it was close to my birthday, I was given a free birthday biscuit topped with their Blueberry Dream Creme and whipped cream. I'd recommend coming here for birthdays.

It came with a huge flaky biscuit topped with a generous scoop of sausage and bacon gravy. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were seasoned really well, and the bacon was nice and crispy. My husband got the build-your-own omelet, and it was very well made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was lively and a little loud, but it fit the restaurant perfectly with its modern Southern vibe. Pricing was a little high, but nothing crazy in today's market. Will return!

Every time I try a new "Franchise Owned" restaurant I am usually disappointed. " Eggs Up Grill"…read morelived up to my disappointment. So to save you some time I will say this. If you want a Sunday breakfast spot where you have to wait 20-30 minutes for a table and then another 30 minutes after ordering for your food to arrive and once it does, the meals w cold. Then "Eggs Up Grill" is your kind of place. Granted we had a party of seven so I will defer the table wait. However it took 35 minutes for our food to arrive. I had a " Build your own Ham,American cheese & Mushroom Omelette w/Grits & a buttermilk pancake. My wife had 2eggs over medium w/potatoes, toast and link sausages. The sausages were burnt and we had to ask for some un-burnt links. My pancake was cold. The Grits were watery and I had to hunt for a mushroom and more than one bite of cheese on my omelette. Coffee was good and the servers would keep it warmed up. The rest of our parties food also was served up like warm to cold. One person got the burnt sausage links too. No one in our party thought much of the food or the cost. My advice for Sunday breakfast in Cleveland TN go to " Cameron's" Better food, better service, better prices and " Cat Head" homemade biscuits.
