I waited a long time to be greeted or get a drink order. It was 3 in the afternoon so not busy at all so that shouldn't have been a problem. I ordered a steak medium it came out very dry and no pink or red at all. I let that go as this is a cheap place. Then I got up and peed with half my food still on my plate and I came back to the table bussed. I hadn't paid or anything. I just decided to take a free dessert to go and get the heck out of there. I got the chicken fried steak with green beans. It was ok but I've had better. The green beans I had were sweet in flavor so that was different. My daughter and son didn't really eat the yogurt mixed with diced apples and golden raisins so that was a wasted side. Our waitress checked on us one time during our whole visit, no joke and that was awful. I must brag about their croissants and the cookie monster. Yum! I was also told when I first walked in that my party could be seated right away and then when I came back from the bathroom, we were all waiting so I had to ask to see what was going on and we ended up getting seated after a different hostess came back to the front. read more

When we first arrived the hostess asked us if we didn't mind sitting at the bar top and we didn't, but then we realized it was dirty and piled up plates were everywhere so then she gets us a table and the server was clearly ready to leave and even said to the hostess " You are not seriously going to sit me!?!??" We sat in a booth with that server and she was nice, but just hearing that she didn't want any more tables was a complete turn off so we ordered and pretty much just took a few bites and took the rest to go. I like Cheddar's a lot. The food is good - not like, uber-fantastic, but good - and the prices are more than reasonable. My dad and I were regulars here for a couple of weeks while we dealt with some medical stuff at the doctor's office nearby. The wait staff recognized us and were always friendly. My bf used to work here, we stopped eating the food after he saw the kitchen. This place is cockroach infested. They call themselves a scratch kitchen yet they use Idahoan Instant Mashed potatoes? Everything comes frozen (including fish and shrimp) and all sauces are pre made. I'd be happier going to Chili's. read more

I didn't realize that all the Cheddars have the same decor. This is a family friendly place. The Crispy Chicken salad is really good. It comes with a hot buttered crossiant. Yum! The portions are more than enough. The broccoli cheese casserole is also pretty tastey. The staff was very attentive and our food arrived quickly. The prices are great. read more

I really like this place! I've come to Cheddar's for lunch twice and am excited to go back a third.. I had the Chicken Fried Steak the first time (which I am told is "a Texas thing") and the Pork Tenderloin the second time.. both were excellent. Don't worry about leaving hungry, as servings are large and come with sides. A colleague of mine ordered the "Baked Spasagna," and holy cow, that thing is huge! I'm trying that next time! You'll be surprised at how reasonable the prices are here after seeing the portions.. lunch generally runs $8-10 per person. read more

I usually don't dine out at American restaurants, but I really like this place! Ordered the spinach dip and chicken pot pie. I got full from the dip and barely had room for the pot pie. Whoops. The price you pay for the amount of food is great! Service was great and it was crowded, but hey. You're here for daaaa foooooood! I promise today was the last time I frequent this place if I'm with more than 3 other people. The quality of the food for the price is not bad but the frustration of having to deal with their lack of being able to accommodate and service large parties (6 or more) is not worth it. The sad thing is that most of the time it is the kitchen that is failing the servers but what is even more sad is when you ask the manager for help they throw the server under the bus. After asking the manager for help today he comes back and tells us that we have only been waiting 13 minutes when it was actually 43 (we watched the entire 4th quarter of the Cowboy game on my cell phone) and had the nerve not to come back by to see if everything was okay. Let me be clear if you are a party if 4 or less you should eat here but over that go to one of the other restaurants in the area. read more

My husband and I have a 4 month old that is teething and today we were running errands and trying to find the perfect way to calm our son. Half the day went by before we realized we hadn't eaten. We looked around and found Cheddars and decided to stop in. Makysia was our server and she way amazing. We told her we were starving and ready to eat and she took great care of us. Our drinks (Mango sweet tea)were always full and the service was quick. Before we knew it our food was served. I had the salmon with bourbon glaze and we also ordered the croissants. (Order these you will thank me) Everything tasted delicious. Overall great experience and we will defiantly be going back. I only had one take-out experience but it wasn't anything special or enough to get me to come back. Anytime a Monte Cristo is on a menu, I get it. This is one I wish I would have skipped on. Instead of typical French toast bread, the entire innards of the sandwich are wrapped in a doughy, hardly-fried excuse for a corn-dog. It was less than desirable to say the least. It's possible the other food is just fine, but for your own good, stay away from that atrocity. I did however have a cup of the cheese-potato soup which is the only reason this a 3 star and not lower. We went to Cheddar's a few hours ago and we were greeted with friendly service and seated within 1-2 minutes. The server was very fast and friendly and brought us our drinks immediately. I had the blackened salmon, fries, and green beans. My girlfriend had blackened salmon. a baked potato, and broccoli. The food was very good. The only thing was that it took a long time to get the food, about 25 minutes. I guess this is how long it usually takes because we have been here a few times and it seems to take just as long. The waiters are so rude and have no idea how to put in your oder, they'll make you wait 30 minutes until they realize they never summited the order and the kitchen will mess up everyones order so it's sent back and they'll mess it up again. Came here for my birthday dinner today. The only thing good about it was that we didn't have to wait too long for a table....however as a party of 11 they tried to seat us at two different tables! They don't even move so we couldn't even push them together. We sat for over an hour before we got our food. My food was cold by the time it came to our table. Also waited super long for our margaritas to come out. We had to wait so long for our food that we didn't even know who our waitress was. Had the Chicken Fried Steak. Just so-so. The wait staff was great and that's 2 of the 3 stars. The CFS tasted like it came frozen and was fried. I definitly prefer freshly made food but the prices here seem to match the quality. It's our standard, middle of the road American food. Hubs and I stopped in for a quick bite and an adult beverage. We are from CO and here working. We weren't to impressed with the Cheddars back home but wanted to give it another try here. We were impressed. We sat at the bar top and was waited on by Jess and Adam, who did a great job. They were both very busy and didn't skip a beat. Hubs had the chicken pot pie, they forgot to bring out the salad but no problem. It was something different to try and pleased. I tried the lighter portion whitefish and will definitely order it again. It was delicious. We couldn't get over the menu. So many items under $10. We went in on a Friday night at 5pm. Customer service!! This rating is more for my server. She's the best I had here. I had ordered a steak and chicken and my steak came out well done as I ordered medium.. She came by as I cut the pieces and asked her if I may have a1 sauce since it was well done. She was kind enough to offer another one and get it fixed correctly! She came back with a fresh plate and everything was perfect! In between the time, she came by to see how I was doing! I appreciate her and the staff to get it fixed in a timely manner with no issues! Been coming here for multiple years, with friends and family. Usually it never disappoint me when it comes to ribs and sweet potato and broccoli cheese casserole. It never let me down. Brought my mom here today to get our usual rib cravings. But instead my sweet potatoe is watery and a bit sour. And ribs was dry and burn on the edges. The manager has replace my burn and dry ribs but kinda weird how the cooks can sent that out the kitchen. Also chips for the spinach dip was all broken. Good thing the our server was awesome and brought extra chips the first time. Server and manger was very friendly and resolve the issues quick. But the leftover ribs was just dry to the last fiber when I got home, it was just cover in the Bbq sauce to make it look like it was juicy. But that cover up. At the end it was thrown out. Felt a bit cheated. But hopefully the next time we visit here ribs will be better. read more

I just returned the most disgusting chicken Alfredo. Alfredo sauce was like water and chicken was not cooked well. Tasted like rubber. I tried to explain to Manager and he was rude telling me " if you don't like it you don't like it" then asked if I want them to remake it. Hell to the No. Cheddar's is forever off my list. The food was very good. I had the 8oz sirloin it was very tender. The croissants were awesome. I tried my sons buffalo chicken tender they we're very good. The waitress was excellent. It was our first time to any Cheddar's and the manager came over and gave us cookies. I will definitely come back when we visit. Normally cheddars is solid with good service and good food this time both were horrible... took a little while to get to us.. then we made our orders and my son who is 6 always I mean always get grilled cheese and some pineapples whoever the waiter is normally makes this happen.. but apparently this time hey don't have any fruit... umm ok I guess he sensed I was pissed so here he comes later with 2 slices of pineapples while placing the pineapples he knocked my bread off my plate.. never got another piece... like really... like really you just didn't have any fruit.. so my Cajun pasta was so dam salty I need a gallon of water after it was ridiculous... the other food was fine per my kids but at the end it took forever to get a to go box even my kids were like it takes this long for a to go box.. then we finally got our tab and normally you are ready to go when you pay not this time sat for a good 6-10 min waiting on him to pick up our tab so we could leave I mean cmon man.. this is the first bad experience I've had at cheddars and its really leaving a salty taste in my mouth... read more

Best value concept meal!! The Asian Chicken salad is an exact 'knock-off' of the Cheesecake Factory's Hawaiian Lua salad....except is $5 CHEAPER! The Tilapia with mango salsa is also fabulous. This used to be my favorite place on this area, until last month. As we waited at our table, we noticed a group of middle aged ladies waiting to place their order and speaking Spanish casually, then a young waiter came in and ask for their ID and said it was because they have an inspection; however none of the the other patrons were asked to produced an ID. We looked at each other and felt bad for them and promised we would never again eat at such a place. I'm not sure if this is something encourage by management or it was a misguided waiter with a strong bias towards other ethnicities but this is plain wrong and should not happening in a place like this. read more
