We were out pretty late and looking for something that was open till at least 10 and we came across cheddars. We are pleased to see a bar and told it was open seating so that was a plus because there were people waiting to be seated.. service at the bar was friendly and we had drinks really quick. Food was good and the vibe was just what we were looking for somewhat quiet couple TVs to watch above the bar and just to hang out. It was a good stop. we definitely come again.

Last minute dinner plans why not Cheddars! I can always count on a good quality of food and drinks to fill me up and they definitely have it. Good home style cooking! It was a Monday evening and we chose seating on the bar side at a booth. Our waitress quick and friendly made our time there seamless.

We love this place ! The food is simple, tastes good and great portions ! The pricing is not too bad either. Daphne and Mary are great servers here and the manager Jared you can tell loves his job he genuinely enjoys what he does! Came in for dinner with 7 others and everyone loved it! There's something for everyone here

I'm back...with family this time. Today is busier than Friday but the wait wasn't long at all. Tracy is an excellent server. She's engaging, knows the best selections and gives good suggestions. The Croissant rolls are too yummy. The Wisconsin Cheese Bites are a good choice for an appetizer. I selected the Fall-Off-The-Plate Baby Back Ribs with Red Beans & Rice and Green Beans as my sides. The taste of the green beans grew on me. A full rack is definitely two meals. The other orders were Steak & Chicken Tenders with Red Beans & Rice and French Fries, Fish & Shrimp with double Red Beans & Rice and Shrimp Alfredo. The Fish & Shrimp was enough for one meal. Everyone else had a takeout. The restroom was in good shape again. It was an overall good dine in experience!

Ok, I don't know about these reviews here. I personally came with a family group and had a great time. Our server was by far the best I've had in a long time. I was shocked how many times he not only check on us, but the fact he carried all six entrees with him. He was on top of everything, funny, and just great at his job. Especially with how busy the night was. I was not expecting the croissants in the beginning. Like who decided to make some of the most complicated breads? They were light, fluffy, buttery, and sweet. Kind of reminded me of the taste of sweet bread with a crisp from the layers. I think it's genius of them to have this as their bread identity. I ordered the corn meal crusted white fish with red beans & rice and broccoli. It was a hefty plate and I definitely had leftovers. I loved the steamed broccoli and it had garlic sauteed with it. The red beans & rice was good, but just a little too salty for me. Otherwise I loved it all. This was a great family gathering restaurant, date night, or just because meal.

Ate here at 5pm on Saturday and we were seated immediately. Their honey butter croissants are sooooo good. We also had the New Orleans pasta and the 8 oz sirloin steak. I'm knocking down one star just because the steak was closer to well done than the medium well we ordered. But otherwise, our food was good and the service was excellent.

I had a cheese burger and fries and I literally ate it all in less than 10 mins!

I brought my dad here to try a different restaurant other than Black Bear Diner. He's a creature of habit and likes what he likes. As long as it's American comfort food I knew he'd find something he would like. I thought he would order the chicken strips and fries but he surprised me and ordered meatloaf. I tried it and thought it was just ok. He liked and enjoyed it so that's all that matters. I ordered the country fried chicken with country gravy. The chicken was crispy and juicy. It was really good. The gravy and mashed potatoes were delicious, the green beans could've been seasoned they were kind of bland. There was a piece of Texas toast under the chicken which I thought was unnecessary. Their croissants are melt in your mouth yummy! Casual and clean and it wasn't too busy when we arrived. It got a little busier before we left. The food took quite a while to come out. Not sure if that's normal or not but our waitress was super nice and attentive. Overall it was a good experience and my dad enjoyed it.

The food is not the best but not the worst either. We tried the cheese curds and spinach dip as an appetizer which were great. For our entrees we had the BBQ ribs with broccoli casserole and corn, as well as the chicken pot pie. To be honest...Marie callenders frozen chicken pot pie is far more flavorful than cheddars. The ribs were ok, the flavor was great and the price was great but they were rather dry. Overall our experience was great because our server Ethan made it quite an enjoyable experience for us, as quality service is hard to come by nowadays. This probably isn't a place that I would ever come back to or recommend to a friend. It's very average.

First time here. Sunday evening, not too long of a wait. Was seated and our waiter was Andrew. Excellent service, very attentive and got our orders correct. We ordered the trio appetizer, spinach dip, chicken tenders and queso dip with chips and salsa. They were all good especially the spinach dip. Main course, there was 6 of us, we ordered: grilled t bone steak with loaded baked potato & broccoli cheddar rice casserole, grilled 8oz sirloin with fries, rice & beans, chicken tender platter with ranch dipping sauce, fries and broccoli cheddar casserole, chicken tender platter with delicious hot honey dipping sauce, loaded baked potato & corn, grilled shrimp alfredo with loaded baked potato & steamed broccoli, and chicken fried steak with loaded baked potato & broccoli cheddar rice. Steaks were cooked perfectly as requested- they were juicy, tasty & tender. Chicken tenders were crispy, all sides were good. Overall, the food was delicious. We had great service, good food and a nice, enjoyable environment. The restaurant was busy but staff were quick to clean tables and pick up. Would definitely return.

A Taste of the Bayou Right Here!…read more Walking into Flavors of Louisiana feels like stepping straight into the heart of the South--where the spices are bold, the portions are generous, and every bite carries a story. From the moment I sat down, the warm hospitality made me feel like family, and the aroma of Cajun spices drifting from the kitchen let me know I was in for something special. The Food The star of the show is undeniably the seafood dishes. The crawfish étouffée was rich and velvety, with layers of flavor that only true Louisiana cooking can capture. The seasoning was spot-on--bold without being overpowering, spicy but balanced. The fried catfish was golden perfection: crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. And don't get me started on the gumbo--hearty, smoky, and brimming with soul. Every side dish felt like comfort food elevated. The hush puppies were crisp little bites of heaven, and the dirty rice was so flavorful it could have been a meal on its own. The Experience What I loved most was the authenticity. Nothing felt watered down or rushed--it was food made with love, patience, and pride. The staff checked in often, always with a smile, and you could tell they genuinely cared that you enjoyed not just your meal, but your entire experience. Final Thoughts Flavors of Louisiana isn't just a restaurant--it's an experience. It's the kind of place you come to when you want food that warms your soul and reminds you what real flavor is supposed to taste like. If you've never had authentic Cajun or Creole cooking before, this is the perfect place to start. And if you already love Louisiana cuisine, you'll feel right at home. Authentic. Flavorful. Prices here are fair as the quality is good. Heard one person mention the sauce is good at pier 88 but everything else is better here...I'd take cooked to perfection than a little better sauce. You should too traveling or native. I'd post a pic of the crawfish (live it's in season) but they were perfectly cooked amazing flavor and I smashed the whole pound before I thought this place deserved the atta boy!

The ribs are perfectly DEELICIOUS and cook out approved. Frijoles, ooooh nice, savory and filled with slow cooked love. The service is FABULOUS! You feel welcomed, it's very down home neighborhood feel. Me and my family went. (The 3 of us probably made too much noise.) but Eric's makes you feel relaxed and kicked back because the food is the show! It was our first time and there's no rushing you through the order process and they explain how it works, happily. It seems that everyone is humble and makes you feel like this is their love language. My family, the 2 of them had a burger and fries, chicken wings, pulled pork and brisket with Mac n cheese and cole slaw. When I reached the table, they both said the brisket was the best they've ever had! I feel like it's priced right! It's family style, so ordering by the pound makes so much sense. We ordered separately, but we each have good amount of food leftover for a day or two for me. We wanted to try SO many foods. We discussed needing to get the banana pudding next time. We all live downtown Phoenix but coming out to the suburbs for this, was A PERFECT TREAT for a Saturday dinner. My colleague suggested Eric's and WOW, she was SO ON POINT with this suggestion. Oh, they brew their own tea daily. Sweet and unsweetened. Oh, how could I forget the MUSIC! OMG, THE MUSIC! 70s RnB, SOOOOO COOL!!!

Her ID had a small dent in it -- still clearly valid -- and instead of handling the situation appropriately, the security guard snapped her ID leaving it almost completely in half. Destroyed it. Then turned her away. That is not only disrespectful, it's completely out of line. Security's job is to verify IDs, not damage personal property. There are proper procedures for questionable IDs, and this was NOT one of them. No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation -- just unnecessary force and a complete lack of basic respect. If this is how they treat people at the door, I can't imagine how the rest of the establishment operates. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else where staff know how to handle situations professionally. I'm just curious - is the security guard now going to pay for her new ID?? This is OUTLANDISH behavior coming from a plain old Jane of a security guard. Clearly he didn't make the cut at the police academy...

The concept is simple: order your meat by the pound, pick your sides, grab a dessert, and snag a beer, specialty soda, or fountain drink on your way to the register. I can grab as much white bread as I want, refill my own drink, never have to flag someone down for napkins, and I've had some great conversations with other patrons. The brisket is consistently good, and I always order it moist. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is another favorite, but the baked beans deserve their own mention. They're loaded with bits of shredded pork that add both texture and smoky flavor, making them one of the better barbecue sides around. Rudy's is one of those chains that doesn't feel like a chain.
