Stopped here to meet my family for dinner after work. Services was good. Food was below average for a chain bar and grill. Had the Cajun shrimp pasta, it was ok. I ate about half before I decided I would rather just eat my kids left over fries. Wife had chicken fried steak. It was not fully cooked and had raw batter under the crust. Horrible experience ever! My boyfriend and I came to eat here on 10/18. As soon as we sat down, we ordered a spinach dip through the kiosk, never once received it. The waitress comes to take our drink orders and then asks if we want to order an appetizer, we told her we did already though the kiosk, but apparently didn't go through. So we ordered it through her. Then she asked, if we were ready to order, so we did. My boyfriend ordered a steak (medium). When he got his food, it came out well done. Mind you, the appetizer still isn't there, even when our food was brought to the table. THEN, the waitress comes and tells us, your appetizer is ready, free of charge, we won't charge you guys. We said fine, she comes back, the appetizer is in a TO-GO box...... my boyfriends food still isn't there.... We literally just walked out! Never going back! The manager was no help either! This was not a good experience. It started off with the minor irritant of the waitress giving us no straws, even though everyone around us had them. She took our orders, I ordered the honey dijon chicken with steamed broccoli and a loaded baked potato as the sides. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive, and wasn't even hot. Actually, it was barely even warm. The "loaded" baked potato was tiny, and barely had any toppings at all, the "chicken breasts" were preprocessed, preflavored shaped chicken patties, the honey dijon sauce was overpowering, and they put so much of it on the chicken that it got onto EVERYTHING, tainting the flavors of all the other stuff. I will say that, if they had used real boneless chicken breasts, and had not absolutely drowned the plate in sauce, it would have been a decent meal. Also, the steamed broccoli was excellent, as were the sauteed mushrooms that came with the chicken. But as it stands, not a great meal, especially not after waiting forever just to get it nearly cold. I probably would not eat there again. read more

I've come here for my salads for quite awhile and I would always get the half order of Onion rings to add to my salad. I was told that now that Dardens has taken over lots of things have changed! Half orders are no longer allowed on the onion rings! You have to buy a full order of 26 . Wow !!! Called the manager over to ask why the change and he didn't have an answer and didn't seem to care that I was upset with the change! However I was informed if you go to the location on 45 they haven't changed over yet and you can still get the half orders at that location. Guess I know where I'll be going from now on ! read more

My first visit to Cheddar's and I loved it!!! The atmosphere is great, very relaxing. I joined a group of business associates for a get together and I was impressed with Cheddar's. The menu had a great selection of items to choose from and I had the 8 oz sirloin. Cooked to perfection and the taste was spot on. Tender and juicy. Our server Jose was the BOMB!! Great service. He was always there when our glass needed a refill, clearing the dishes as we finished our meal. He was so professional and yet had a personality that would make you feel right at home. So far we love this place, good service, been here couples of times, one time the server forgot to bring us the appetizer we ordered and finally after reminded them that we didn't get our appetizer and they bring it to us in the end but then they give it for free because it was their mistake. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but not anymore. Went to the restaurant on Beltway 8 near Spencer on Saturday, June 3 to celebrate an anniversary of relatives and it was a disaster. It took an extremely long time for food to come and when we ask our waitress she told us she had just checked in it and they still had a couple of more plates to fix, we thought she meant others orders but not so. They brought out half of our order with no explanation about the rest of it and to add insult it was all cold because they had been fixed and waiting. We ask for the manager and he did not know what was going on and when we finally got the rest most of it was cold but no one seemed to care. The section we sat in was extremely cold. We had to ask the waiter twice to turn off the ac so we could stop shivering. They brought the manager but they didn't say a word to us. First time eating here and DAMN was it good. Not just good, great. Came here on a busy Sunday evening but despite that the wait time was not long. Estimated wait time was 15-20 minutes, actual time 10 minutes. The service was excellent. Our server, Angelica, was awesome. The food was delicious and we did not have to wait long for our orders to be ready despite how busy it was. Absolutely recommend the croissants. The portions are ridiculous for the price, my wife and I can always share the Chicken Alfredo, croissants, chips and queso with beef, and a mini chocolate shooter for under 20 bucks. He refilled our drinks without being asked, offered refills on our chips & salsa, he repeated our order back to us and was over all so attentive and friendly! My family an I ordered our own meals. My daughter ordered a maple chicken sandwich and found a long hair. This is unacceptable in general and especially when we are trying to limit contact with other people. This is so offensive and disgusting and I would NOT recommend eating here during or post quarantine. This is a health risk because whoever's hair this was my family and I don't know if they've been around anyone affected.
