I've ordered quite a few times thus far for delivery but never been in the actual restaurant itself. Delivery is easy - minimum order of $10 and it's free. They have a variety of options. You can even customize your own pizza, from dough (thin or thick) to sauce to toppings. I liked their pepperoni pizza and their deluxe combo. But the "smoked sausage" specialty combo pizza was no good - the middle was too wet and flimsy (toppings came sliding off) and the overall dough was just too soft/wet (flavor combination also wasn't that great). Large "specialty combo pizza" only comes out to exactly $17 pretax/tip, which is not too pricey. Overall, decent spot for pizza as long as you get the right one. Pepperoni!! read more

The search continues. In all honesty I'm abandoning hope at finding great pizza in LA. Totally on board with the butterflied duo singular slice, that is until, Crust is absolutely raw. See pic for details. Shame because it was decent , and I would have taken this over the overrated Joe's pizza. They both need drastic rehaul of the way they oven their pizza. Been going to Cheechs since I was a little bambina. There are many hip and great pizza joints around but cheechs just feels like home. First off, the owner is always there to take your order, give recommendations and he's such a sweet man. The food is the kind of greasy, delicious pizza you would eat on cheat day and not even feel guilty about it. Get the finger garlic bread. With cheese. Yes, it's a lot to handle but it's worth it. Stop thinking about it. Get it. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but the neighborhood is nice to walk in and you'll need the exercise after all those carbs! read more

I grew up in the Los Feliz area as a child and I never had the opportunity to try it until I became an adult. You would never think this pizza spot is here as it's quite hidden. I finally had the opportunity to try many items on their menu and I love small mom and pop pizzerias like this. I would order from places like this over the big brands any day. Their small pizza is the perfect size for 1-2 people who want something filling but light. Their calzones are HUGE. These are not personal size unless you were a giant. These can literally be shared between 2-4 people cut into slices. The chicken wings are so crispy and the potato wedges are good too!!! I had the Italian trip sandwich toasted and it came with a bag of potato chips. Although I've had better cheesecake, I would come here for the pizza. I also love how they have gluten free pizzas!!!! If you are in the area, they deliver. Try this small hole in the wall if you are in the Los Feliz area and support your local restaurants! read more

I didn't like the pizza at all. We ordered delivery. The pizza dough was wet. I don't know if it was wet from grease or what. The pictures say it all. It was gross. I don't really know what else to say about it because I didn't eat it after that. read more

Great independent pizza spot in the neighborhood. Perfect type of pizza for kids and I love that the crust is not a huge loaf of bread (I respect all pizza, it's just a personal preference). It's a solid straight forward pizza place that also has vegan options. Everyone who works there is so sweet too which is always a plus. read more

I really really wanted to like this place. Mostly because they deliver but also because I'm tired of reading amazing reviews for places on yelp that are just average. Well, I was disappointed. I ordered a supreme pizza and breadsticks. The pizza was good but when I got to the crust it was really dry and honestly overcooked. I'm not one to waste food and throw out the crust so it wasn't cool that I had to for this pizza. The breadsticks were dry to me, and it was missing marinara sauce. Maybe this place doesn't offer it with it but believe me, they would've been better if there was something for me to dip those in. So unfortunately I probably won't be ordering from here again. read more

Cheechs is another LA institution for all things Pizza . They provide very good quality pizza with amazing customer service/ delivery. Every time the delivery guy comes he's so friendly and always greets me and ask how I'm doing. I think it's amazing how something as simple and consistent can really make you fall in love with a place. Cheechs is known for its 2 for 1 pizza . Everyone will tell you it's the best deal ever. I really like all their ingredients but my combination I like is pepperoni, mushroom and sausage- yuuuumy! The mozzarella sticks are so good it makes you wanna slap yo mama. I get intense cravings for these at the weirdest times, in the middle of the night, early in the morning- it's so crazy. Best single slice pizza joint in LA!!! Hubby and I love coming here for a late night snack. We always get single slice cheese pizza ($4.00) and whatever toppings we want ...lot of options (.50 each topping). The pizza here is fresh, cheesy and omg the pizza dough is soo good. They certainly are good at pizza and meatball subs and wonderful service etc... All those things are above mediocrity with this small Los Feliz mom and pop . However ; one thing they do Is 10 star dazzling to the point where if they had lousy pizza and subs which they absolutely have not even come close to being Cheech's would still get 5 max stars here from me . So it is the coveted MOZZARELLA CHEESE STICK DIVISION .These sticks are so wonderfully dangerous, I advise anyone with addictive traits to just stop reading this review and Cary on elsewhere . A super sonic basil metabolic rate must be in effect for you to avoid the pitfalls of such a treat . mouth melting of A different kind . Never knew it existed until Caviar the mobile delivery service/ iOS app made it all possible . I would call their cheese pizza an "elevated microwave pizza" doughy but the cheese tastes like cheese and the tomato sauce is ok. Some would call that mean but it's def better than dominoes and Pizza Hut so ya? Def an improvement since the last owner three years ago. Also their slice portion is so large they cut it in half and you get 2 small slices. So that's def a plus. read more

Cheech's is hidden off Hillhurst. There is a chance you've might have passed it on your way to Little Dom's, but it's there. The pizza is great. It feels a little more chewy and cake like, but has a satisfying crust. I went in for the slices, because a single man ordering a whole pizza makes me feel like I gave up on life. Anyways the pizza was great for a slice, but I wish it had more sauce... The restaurant/pizzeria has a a couple of tables that comfortably sit two people, but don't be mistaken this is a take out and delivery joint. Parking is street and metered, so be prepared... after all this is Los Feliz, and a lot of the residents refuse to drive in fear of losing their parking spots in the neighborhood. read more

I came here because Grubhub was having a deal and I wanted pizza. Saw this was family owned and decided to try it to see if this would be my new pizza stop. Sadly it didn't work out, the crust was obviously burned but the 2 guys working there were very nice and the pizza was ready by the time I got there. The crust is flat and I wasn't able to get any flavor due to it being burned. 3 stars for the employees friendliness! I didn't realize pizza was burned until I got home and didn't want to drive back since it was rush hour. Ended up just eating cereal at home. read more

Hey Yelpers! You know what they say about books and covers and not judging one by the other. Well this is one cover you should definitely not judge by the book -- the pizza here is fantastic! Or vice versa. Located in a shabby (no offense, Cheech's) storefront on Hillhurst, north of Franklin, with metered parking (at best) and two or three uninviting tables inside (this is largely a to-go place, but I eat here for lunch all the time during Los Feliz shopping trips), the pizzas have a unique crust composition (many reviewers compare it to pie crust, and I think that is fair) that is just delicious! The dough is hand rolled and tossed as you watch. Yum. Even more delicious are the prices -- you will be sure that you mis-heard when given your total, as the pies are, well, easy on the wallet (super cheap). The low prices you see on the menu are actually for two pizzas, as everything is in pairs here. Cheech's is a darling of the Hollywood/Los Feliz food delivery services, so you can sample these pies from K-Town all the way west. Or, like me, unfold a newspaper (or iPhone) and eat there. I am not kidding, the pizza here is awesome! read more

Honest to god the best restaurant I have ever eaten at, the man asked if the food was good and offered to make more of it wasnt, he also brought us 4 free slices of pizza. Wow. Okay. I ordered delivery from this place last weekend via GrubHub (a medium buffalo chicken pizza with caesar salad). Now, I don't expect too much from fast food pizza in general, but I DO expect fast service. Nobody orders pizza expecting to wait for that long (especially when the store is literally 1-2 miles from where you are staying). WELL, I ended up waiting for LITERALLY an hour and 40 minutes for pizza that was honestly just okay at best. I did call the restaurant about an hour and 20 minutes into my wait and ask about the pizza, and whoever picked up the phone was at least courteous and polite. But this still doesn't excuse the nearly 2 hour wait for what was very unmemorable food. read more

Nope. Attn: LA This is not four star pizza. Crust by nature of its name is supposed to have some "bite". This is best described as flatbread. Ridiculously mediocre. Went in my bf for a quick dinner last night and we both got slices and they were sub par at best. I got mushroom, feta, sun dried tomatoes and spinach on mine and he got mushrooms, sausage and tomatoes on his. The pizza was so doughy and tasteless and the toppings were just thrown on there and hardly cooked. Their prices are great but the pizza just isn't very good. Spend a few more bucks and go somewhere else. read more

How does this place have even 4 stars ???? Horrible pizza. I ordered 1 cheese and 1 cheech's pizza - they gave me 2 extra slices but the cheese had literally just tomato sauce with cheese near the crust and I ate one piece of the cheech and immediately food poisoning symptoms starting arriving. The pizza was trash by the way. The service must be horrible because how can you sit there making a cheese pizza with no cheese on it and then think it's ok to sell it. lol I'm sure they gave me extra pieces that were leftovers which is pretty disgusting. Anyways I spent the past 24 hours in bed off and on and throwing up and my stomach absolutely feeling the worst it has ever felt. All from this place. LITERALLY HORRIBLE. It has made it so i cannot look at a piece of pizza without gagging. Never in my life would I even wish this place upon my worst enemy. The pain it caused my entire body was literal hell. DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA DIE OR NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE FOR 24 HOURS. NOT WORTH IT. read more

If you're in the mood for cute girls to serve you great pizza while you get assaulted by acrostic messages on the wall then this is the ONLY place to go. They have a individual pizza and soda for 5 dollars which is good for lunch or dinner. By the door there are a ton of seasonings that you can add yourself. I like to drown mine in olive oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, and garlic. It makes for quite the pizza, and quite the stomach ache! Totally worth it. read more

This charming little pizza joint serves up yummy pies with speed and a smile. On the way home from an outing I ordered pepperoni and Hawaiian pizzas right from the Yelp app. (That was cool) They were ready for pick up in about 15 minutes. The pies were hot, fresh and good, but not as good as I was hoping. The pizzas tasted mild, and the crust was rather sweet and soft. I think I just prefer a more robust pizza, however I noticed the kids ate all their crust, which is highly unusual. It wasn't bad at all, just not my thing. I had a health moment and ordered a small Caesar salad too. It was delicious. Really fresh. I assume most of the patrons order for pickup or delivery, because the little storefront offers about four small tables for in-house dining. Didn't they have a deal in the recent past where you got two medium pizzas for $16 or $17? It's not on the menu so I called and the guy who answered said that he has never heard of such a thing.

I have not heard of a deal like that from Cheech's Pizza. Pretty straight forward and consistent menu. Love the place and have been ordering from them for the last 10 years.

One of the best spots in LA for pizza! Their food is always hot and delicious. The owners and staff are so attentive and the ambience is small, cozy and quaint. The quality of the food is what is the best and it's made with Love! I have been to this restaurant several times and every time we go, no matter what we order it's always delicious! My husband ordered a meatball sandwich the last time we were there and he said it was the best meatball sandwich he's ever had!! Recently, For health reasons I have gone gluten-free and they do have gluten-free pizzas as well which I was pleasantly surprised! It was amazing and delicious. I had tried gluten-free pizzas in other restaurants, but this was the best one I've ever had. Doug and Allie are both very friendly and kind . Lots of nostalgia in there also. So Cheech's and I have been pizza provider/pizza eaters friends for a little bit of time now. Their buy one get one deal is thought to be unbeatable. I usually get the Buffalo chicken pizza which is rather good. But after my last experience Cheech's and I are going to have to part ways. My order was supposed to arrive in 45 minutes to a Hour knowing cheech's I knew it would take a hour. An hour AND forty five minutes pass. So we call, they say the driver should be here. He arrived 5 minutes later. When arrived he informed me he didnt have my ranch or any change. Therefore he asked me if I wanted him to go to the gas station and get change. I advised yes as he was not going to get a $15 dollar tip. When he returned I tipped he a few dollars and when he left he had the nerve to call me a cheap ass. This place is a hidden gem. At least it's new to me. I've been several times in the last couple of weeks to try out different menu items and they've all been terrific! The pizza is the best I've had in this town--hands down. The pizza came out a bit later and met the simplest of expectations. Heavy-handed artichokes integrated into the cheese and sauce, and soft, chewy dough pulling it together. The pasta dishes are comparable to what you would get in a fine dining establishment for a lot more money. The desserts are to die for. The service is also excellent. I love it! read more

Cheech's Pizza was best when it wasn't run by the prior owners daughter. Used to be 2 for 1 from its inception back around 1983-84 when it was Dr. Munchies Pizzeria. Cheech's Pizza is a Los Feliz staple. What makes it so amazing is the friendliness of who appears to be the owner, Doug (that and how inexpensive everything is). I can get a meal for two for around $14.00 total. That includes tip and delivery. There really isn't another place quite like Cheech's. She will base new pizzas on seasonal ingredients, holidays, and whatever is new at that week's farmer's market, so there is always something interesting and new! I love love love the broccoli cheese pizza (just as warm and comforting as the soup, but in pizza form) and she has done other great pies with pepperoni and hot honey. I love going with friends or my husband so that we can share each other's pizzas. I've seen pizza combinations I'd never seen before or that I ever would have though of on a pizza, and they're always so delicious! Melissa fires the pizzas on the spot just for you, after ordering. I'm so glad these are staple pies on a rotating menu because Wow!!! Probably two of the most culinarily creative pies I've ever had and the flavors were ingenious next level. It's like an iron chef decided to open a pop up pizza biz. The Funky Buffalo nailed the balance between the heat of a wing sauce (tempered down with the brown butter) along with the salt from the bacon. Add to it the funk of a perfectly portioned amount of blue cheese on top of mozzarella and the slight crunch of pickled celery (who would think of that?) made this 11/10 perfection. Every aspect of this pie was a well thought out masterpiece. The Bahama Mama Mia was another incredible pie. The play on the sweetness of exotic fruit with a honey drizzle against the spice and saltiness of the nduja sausage was sensational. An absolute must try if you can get a second pie to share. We also got a pepperoni polka to go and of course this was off the charts. Take your traditional pepperoni and add ricotta stars, pepper jelly and basil. I was done. Best ever. Definitely giving Pizza Daughter a follow to see where I can get my next bite. A million stars.

Service: 1/5. the waitress literally slammed an unopened bottle of sparkling water ($6) in the middle of the table and left it unopened and we had to pour it ourselves. The waiter bordered on being outright rude and dismissive. 2. Food: Smaller portions, slightly higher prices and the lamb was tough. The salad left out th cheese and pear and left only greens and arugula. Bitter. No sauce fior the potatoes or lamb and the wine list (glass) was small. Price: $200 FOR 2,AND WE LEFT DISAPPOINTED AF. 3. OVERALL: 2/5. RATING. WOULD NOT GO AGAIN. AND THIS IS A PLACE I USED TO LOVE. They are phoning it in and skimping on ingredients and portion size.
