I've been to this place multiple times, and have never been disappointed. It's fantastic! The chicken tenders are amazing; so meaty and so juicy and flavorful. You can choose from a variety of sauces. (Definitely get the wings tossed in the sauce; trust me on this.) My favorite is the chili thai. Delicious! You also can't go wrong with the chicken sandwich. It's a terrific chicken filet, with cheese and sauce; it's like the exact same price as you'd pay for a chicken sandwich at McDonald's or Wendy's, but so much better! So flavorful. There are a bunch of sides to choose from as well, but I always stick with the fries. They're so uniquely cut, and the seasoning that goes on them is terrific. And don't forget the waffles part of the chicken & waffles! It's a terrific waffle, very doughy and also very flavorful. I always get the honey butter as my topping on it; it's superb. We've supported them since the owner started his small business off a roach coach truck and merged to this location. We hadn't gone in since he opened doors to the spot until yesterday. First off the seating are picnic tables painted red & out seems they don't properly clean after customers leave because i went to sit & my arm got stuck on sticky residue (gross). Then, we're looking at the menu selection and the cashier had no patience in allowing us to observe what's on the menu (mind you we were the ONLY customers in the joint) i had to keep repeating myself to get, to wait! This cashier has no customer service at all. Once the fried wings came out they were supposed to be crunchy and deeply fried but they weren't, it was chewy and parts uncooked. Tucked away next to the corner liquor store is this gem. I arrived late at night, around 9:30pm, in search of some good ole comfort food, and they did not disappoint. Ordered a 4pc tender & waffle combo with hash fries and a soda. I asked for my tenders tossed in honey bbq/buffalo and got my waffle with honey butter and powdered sugar (which is the way they are typically served), my mom got the same but with her tenders tossed in sweet thai chili sauce and sweet potato fries instead of hash fries. We waited a good 15-20 for our food, but i didn't mind as this meant it was being made fresh. As soon as we were handed our food we wasted no time digging in. The waffle was BEYOND amazing, the texture in comparison to other waffles was impeccable. And the honey butter and powdered sugar gave it just the right amount of sweetness which rendered syrup unnecessary (although it is available near the napkins and ketchup). Seriously, this waffle is in my top 3 best waffles I've ever had. Now for the tenders, the meat was tender and the portion was plentiful. The crust was crispy... maybe a little too brown for my taste, but nonetheless a good chicken tender. As for the sauce, i tried my moms sweet thai chili and preferred that over my bbq/buffalo combination. The hash fries were seasoned well and crispy. The sweet potato fries were mediocre at best, limp and soggy. Although the hash fries were acceptable next time i would just skip the sides all together and order another waffle. Overall a great comfort food fix, with a good portion for the price. The waffle by far steals the show. I would come again if i was in the area, maybe call ahead next time so my food would be ready to be picked up once i got there. Gave four stars, for the lacking sides. Side note: I also appreciated the fact that the waffle and chicken were separated from each other by parchment paper. This allowed me to decide if and to what extent i wanted those contrasting flavors to mix. read more

We ordered delivery and it was awesomely simple and delicious. My child (7 years old) just asked if we could send a "thank you" letter to the delivery man which seemed like a good sign. The chicken and waffles was delicious. The Mac and cheese (for the kids) was decadently amazing and the broccoli cheese bites were sneaky in their nutritional value (?). We loved the food but were a little sad that the extra sauce (mango habanero) didn't make it with our order. A fabulous experience all in all. It was hot and not all dried out - cooked to perfection. One of my friends had a chicken sandwich with sauce on the side and said it was a little on the spicy side.
