Sesame chicken
Kevin M.

Just ordered sesame chicken and it came like it doused in hot sauce and the chicken was fried twice. Oily and red. It doesn't even come with any broccoli. I used to order here back then and the food was good but I don't know what happened. They even got my order wrong when I asked for pork fried rice, they gave me white rice. SMH

i personally their sesame chicken/general tso's is really good. I've been getting it like once a week and it has yet to disappoint.

Half of what's suppose to be a jumbo shrimp. But you do get the legs still attached lmao

The only good thing about this place is that there's a nice seating dining area lol that's it. Food is average, customer service? Nope none. So I call for delivery and ordered something coming out to $7.65. Lady said minimum is $8, they can't deliver because it's not $8. are you kidding me ? So you about to lose a customer over 35 cents huh? I'm not a first time customer too I'm a returning customer many times now. So I said ok I'll pay the driver $8 it's not a problem. Lady was like "ok whatever you just pay $8" these were her actual words! What kind of manner and service is this? I hope owner sees and looks thru these review Ordered again from here for delivery today. So many things wrong with this place idk how they're still in business. Ordered shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce and hot sour soup. The sauce in the shrimp and broccoli was super watery. No garlic sauce taste at all. I did see some peppers but absolutely bland. The hot and sour soup was a mix of plain old egg drop soup and they threw in some spice and vinegar and some veggies. Damn. And the shrimps aren't cleaned properly. The legs of the shrimp are still attached and they are peeled very carelessly. These are supposed to be jumbo shrimps and seem like half of the shrimp was peeled away. And it gets worse. When the guy comes he looked at the bill I had in my hand before telling me the price. And then he looked at the receipt and hesitated a bit. Probably wanted to get more tips. When I open the bag no napkins at all. Absolutely terrible.

I am eating. Generals Tso's chicken. It was clumpy. It isn't crispy. It doesn't have broccoli too. For lunch... do not get it.

Luckily, there was only a short wait for our party of two at around 12pm...but I suspect the wait can be much longer later in the afternoon or during peak dinner times. Once your number is called, you go up some stairs to the eating/tabled area. There are tables and chairs for 2, 4 and more guests throughout the large space. The pace of the restaurant is very fast...as soon as you are seated, you are given tea and your waiter comes over right away to take any order you are ready to give. Its helpful to ask for a menu while you are waiting for a table so you know what to order when asked. We had some soup dumplings as well as a (large) soup. Everything was very good and out in about 15 minutes...very fast. The soup dumplings were great...but as expected are filled with piping hot broth so be careful when eating. They have some other appetizers and dishes available. There are also some drink options including cold teas, soft drinks and beer. Overall a great experience...despite visiting on a busy Saturday, we were in and out in about 40-45 minutes. Street parking can be tough in the area but there are a few garages around...one of the more reasonable options is the garage at the Skyview shops which currently charge about $6 for up to three (3) hours and is a short 5 minute walk away.

Another great pickup, another awesome packaging job…read more Driving 15 mins home and food still arrives hot and crispy. Udon noodles are delicious, rolls are crispy, xiao long bao are the best in Flushing, IMO. Ordering online from their website is best, plan to allow 30 minutes for your order to be ready. Would you like to be transported back in time to ancient china?…read more How about just testing your spice tolerance to see if you can hang with the best? Well, if you want all of that, PLUS hot pot, look no further - this is the place to be! There is a reason this is one of the highest recommend spots to visit when you're in Flushing. First off, entrance? SO UNASSUMING. It's like, the tiniest door, with no real obvious signage. Once you go through, you basically feel like you're in one of the ancient alleys of China - decor is 1000% great. We had a larger party of 7, and they were luckily able to accommodate us since we lined up a few minutes before opening on a Friday. We actually got IMO the best seats in the house - towards the back, elevated up on some steps, a mini pavilion essentially. But enough about the decor.. how was the food? Well.. GREAT! And honestly, for NYC prices, not too expensive (but a bit pricy for flushing I guess). The quality was top notch (highly recommend trying the mala quail eggs) and the spice of the broth was GREAT! We went with medium since our server (amazing btw, thank you Sean / Shawn / Shaun??) said that he can't even go near hot, it burns his eyes. Medium was just perfect - felt great eating it with some sweats, regretted it the day after, which means I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Meats were good quality, veggies were yummy. I wish the shrimp paste had more in terms of quantity, we barely had seven bites for each of us, but it was really good. Also, pro tip, probably don't order Napa Cabbage, a lot of their other dishes will sit on top of a whole leaf, so you'll probably get enough from that unless you want to consume half a head. Sauce bar is $2 a person - which might be shocking for some to know they charge it, but it's pretty much the norm at a higher end hot pot place in big cities. At least they don't charge $6-$8 like some places and only throw in a few apps/desserts to try to justify it. Overall, really loved this place, and would definitely go back.

It's very spicy with the signature Sichuan peppercorn, so if you're not into numb spicy, considered yourselves warned. We specifically loved the pig trotters. I've never had them like that before anywhere, so it's definitely a chefs special. They were made crispy on the outside but soft and flavorful on the inside. Highly recommend. All the other dishes were also fantastic. Portions are also great, we ended up taking lots home. They gave us free dessert jellies which is also a classic Sichuan dessert; they also had a deal where you get free drinks if you order a certain amount of food, so we got two free drinks. I would have given a five star if not for the super long wait. Granted we did go for Christmas Day dinner. We saw them having to turn away lots of customers. They are super popular. Main issue is there isn't a number system, so getting a table felt a bit random; we considered ourselves lucky. Our servers were very friendly and nice. They told us it would be a bit of a wait, but this was the longest I've ever waited for food: 45 min before the first dish was served. We ordered 5 dishes with rice (forgot to take pictures of two of them). I wasn't told one of the dishes I ordered wasn't available until 30 min after I placed my order. But when the food did come, they all can't together so we didn't have to keep waiting. The servers were also attentive after despite how busy and clearly overwhelmed they were, which was really nice. In conclusion, great food with good portions for spice lovers. Very nice servers and try not to go on Christmas Day since it can get really busy.

The environment is clean, and staff was welcoming when I dined here on a Friday evening with other Yelp Elites. The restaurant filled up with people very quickly. I cannot remember having better Northeastern Chinese food anywhere. The food came with an amazing presentation, taste, freshness and quality. I am a huge fan of the Cumin Flounder, which is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It is the best flounder that I have ever tasted in my life! The Beef Tenderloin in Brown Sauce is to die for. I loved the Minted Salted Egg Yolk and Sliced Pumpkin so much that I will come back here to order it for Thanksgiving dinner. If you can handle the spice, go for the Fried Squid Head with Spicy Peppery Sauce. It was the table favorite because most of us prefer the head or tentacles of calamari to the rings. The Molten Sugar-Crusted Yams and Dates were phenomenal. It came with a bowl of water on the side to remove stickiness from the serving spoon between helpings. We also feasted on the Sautéed Shredded Beef with Spicy Pepper, Cumin Lamb, Sliced Potatoes with Truffles and Salt and Pepper Shrimp. The pickled salad certainly tickled my fancy. TIP: Eat everything with chopsticks for portion control. Thank you Andie for putting this all together, and the birthday cake that Mike bought for you was a decadent surprise because it was so chocolatey and moist.
