    Honey walnut shrimp

This place is the real deal. My brother and I got the potstickers, szechwan chicken, and honey walnut shrimp. All were excellently cooked, with no overpowering flavors and all of the vegetables cooked just right. The potstickers were perfect, with obviously handmade wraps. My brother thought the honey walnut shrimp was a bit sweet, but I thought it was perfect. Very juicy! Fast service. Will return.

Really great local spot! The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Portions are generous, and everything tastes like it's made with care. The staff is super friendly, and the service is quick. Plus, they have almond cookies - a love of mine!. Definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area.

Since I left New York I always wanted real Chinese Food and now I've found it. The Orange Chicken was phenomenal.

Everything was excellent especially the service. I usually don't get impressed easily but we will certainly be back.

Found this place being in the shopping center on Chapman and decided to give it a try. We went around dinner time on a weekday afternoon and the inside seating was very open. There was a good amount of tables inside! I ordered the vegetable tofu Soup, tender beef and broccoli, and honey walnut shrimp. The veggie tofu soup was seasoned very lightly (which was exactly what we wanted!) and the veggies and tofu were cooked just right. The honey walnut shrimp was absolutely delicious and would definitely recommend! The beef and broccoli had a great sweet and savory sauce that was very good. The service covered us well and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal. They were also quick to provide and additional requests we made. Altogether, my group enjoyed the food and it was a good experience!

Quality family-style Chinese restaurant, hidden in Orange. This spot has been around forever. We stopped by after a hike, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, stir-fried prawns, and crab rangoon. I love how the stir-fried dishes weren't greasy or overly heavy with MSG--just nicely seasoned. The sweet and sour chicken leaned a bit sweeter than I prefer, but the flour coating was very thin, making it a satisfying meal. My only complaint is about the crab rangoon--it was good, but I could mostly taste the cream cheese, not much crab. The restaurant has a calming vibe, which I really appreciated--and the food matched that feeling. Service was Professional and Excellent!

    1) the people are excellent!!! Almost everyone checked in on us multiple times... very family feeling... 2) the decor is nice and fun... with a Chinese flair... black red and white with a couple happy buddhas and even a cross on one 3) the food is excellent... we had Salt and pepper pork, cashew chicken, house chowmein... it was perfect so flavorful and not greasy (just how I love it) we wish we could pack it up and move them to Sacramento where we are seriously lacking in good Chinese food! Thanks for a delicious late lunch

A little but if everything! Faves: org chx, honey walnut shmp, chow mein but it wqs ALL soooo GOOD!

This place is amazing! Words can't describe alone the service you get overall. From the extremely friendly staff to the great quality food that you get. Another great thing about this area is you usually will never have to fight for parking! From the moment my family and I entered, we were greeted right away and immediately sat down. Our orders were taken and the food came out within minutes. They also ensured to check on our table from time to time, but at around 5:30-6PM, they began to get busier and the restaurant started to get packed (even their to-go were busy.) But they never stopped checking on the tables that were already eating as they seated new guests. Now to the food. We ordered Aromatic Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Basil Chicken, Crispy Wontons, sides of rice and Pot Stickers. Everything was very flavorful and the rice/chicken was almost perfectly made/moist. The Honey Walnut Shrimp here is probably the best I have ever had from anywhere (and their best seller). I highly recommend trying at least this if you come. Crispy Wonton and Pot stickers will speak for themselves because they were definitely crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. The Aromatic Chicken and Basil Chicken were perfectly seasoned. As a result, I was not dissatisfied one bit, and would absolutely recommend you try this restaurant at least once. I'm sure you'll want to come back for more!

We ordered combo C while making a few substitutions to our order along with a few additions. This combo fed 4 people and there was plenty of food left over. We did have a slight language barrier with our server who unfortunately brought out our meal incorrect multiple times. Our server however was quick to correct his mistakes and very apologetic. Good customer service in spite of mistakes goes a long way. The atmosphere is casual, and low playing 80's rock echoed throughout the dining area. The restaurant had a relatively small dining room which wasn't overly crowded at 6pm-ish on a Friday night. The bar counter hosted a couple guests as well. The honey walnut shrimp was arguably my favorite meat, while the house chow mein was my favorite side. The restaurant provided complimentary fried wonton crisps complimented by sweet and sour dipping sauce. This was the perfect starter prior to our food coming out. I look forward to returning for the great customer service and fresh prepared food. ***CLOSED MONDAYS***

Looks like a converted bar with plenty of booths. Our no nonsense server warmed up to us as lunch progressed. We ordered sweet and sour and king pao chicken from the somewhat (?) lunch menu, both very inexpensive. My wife liked the hot n sour soup. My egg flower soup was a STAR! Not too thick, great flavor and nice and hot! Some large egg rolls were included. A little oily for my taste but again, Irene liked hers. You can ask for some S&S/mustard dipping sauce. A slightly different take on how they prepared the mustard. The sweet and sour was decent breaded chicken with good homemade sauce, chopped onions and peppers. No pineapple darn it. My Kung Pao could have been called Kung zucchini! That was okay as the portion was huge and I shared some. Plenty of peanuts too (I wished they had been cooked inside the wok..). More than enough fried rice (we took some home. I always ask myself would we come back? A resounding yes as I have to try their egg foo young! I admit I was disappointed that the tea is in a single serve bag instead of a pot.

It's hard to find a nice halal restaurant that has good ambiance, food that is different from the usual options, great taste, great service, all of it. My absolute favorite is their spicy beef dish and their honey walnut shrimp. If you like dumplings I highly recommend their Xiao long baos! Also, the beef buns are really cool too-- they have a crunchy pan fried bottom and are soft buns with a delicious beef filling. One thing I wouldn't skip is the lychee soda, a more niche choice but trust me it's worth it! I will say that the portion sizes could be bigger but you're paying for the quality and ambiance as well, and it's worth it. Overall I love this place and plan to go time and time again.

I can't say much about the service they provide or the ambiance of the place. I also ordered the spicy beef wontons which were the star of the show and white rice. The soup dumplings, chicken Xiao long bao, were dry and a bit stale at the top twist. They didn't have any soup inside either, unfortunately I was really looking forward to this meal after a long day so it was pretty upsetting. Although, the spicy beef wonton were a dream. I personally liked them a lot better than the Ding Tai Fung wontons. They're so savory and so juicy. I will definitely be visiting for the wontons!

The parking is okay, its pretty small but its do able. We went to eat around 2 PM on a weekday so parking was great and the restaurant wasn't too busy. What I liked about their menu was that they offer smaller plates if you want to order individually, and also offer family size plates for sharing. We of course opted for the bigger plates. We ordered orange chicken, chow mein, white rice, broccoli and beef, and pad thai. I want to start off by saying I'm typically picky with my orange chicken. It usually has a tad of an artificial flavor. This place was realllyyyyyy good. The flavor was good for all the dishes we got, the portions were very generous and more than enough for 3. The servers were all nice and checked in periodically on our table. Honestly I would come back here, knowing its affordable with fair portions and good flavor!
