Wow, what a bunch of unethical sales people. THESE are the car salesmen you hear about; After being promised that my daughter can get a Chevy Cruze from them for $150 per month (everything included), with zero out the door cost, I told them the color she wanted, and I wanted to come in and get it. That was yesterday afternoon. The sales girl told me she would get back to me with available colors. I will make this as short as possible. They promised me the above car/price. A day and a half later, still waiting. She sent me photos of cars supposedly on the lot at that cost "just come on down'. I tried to confirm the colors, as the names she was giving did not jive with the photos. That's because she was using the old bait and switch. She tried to tell me that one of the cars she was calling silver (that was BLACK), really was silver, but the 'sun is making it look darker'....wtf? My last correspondence with her, was that the $150 quote she gave me was actually going to cost us "$200+", for a color we never asked for or wanted. This was via texting, so no denying it. Deceptive, unethical behavior. Best part, was that although we are were looking for a inexpensive lease for my daughter, my husband and I are both at the end of our high end car leases, and will be looking for cars in less than 2 months. Oh, BTW, I called Rydell Chevrolet in Northridge, spoke with Jorge. He told me 'no problem' on the $150 lease, sent me photos of the cars on his lot. Tried calling today to make a service appointment about replacing the battery to my 2014 Spark. Line got disconnected (I'm pretty confident someone just hung up instead). Called again, finally got some guy named Renee. I asked him about a battery replacement and he asked me to hold while he checked to see if those specific batteries are in stock (Sparks for some reason have specialized batteries... I only just found this out yesterday when no Valvoline carried them for my car) I /was/ on hold, with hold music... Then the line began to ring. And ring. And ring. Eventually I just hung up. It is quiet, smooth, but has a lot more power than the Prius. Plus it looks cooler. It's easy to use. I find it funny that we went to Toyota down the street and they didn't have what we were looking for (used Toyota Tacoma in a funky color, for under a certain price range) but then we went to CHEVY.... And they did! LOL! Regardless, my husband and I aren't complaining because we got just what we wanted and are over the moon! I hated my husband's old car for a LONG TIME... Well, he wound up going back the next day to test drive it and that's when love truly engulfed him! He told Chevy he wanted to trade in his old car for this and i have to say I was pretty shocked and pleased at the price they quoted for his car... Which made the truck my husband LOVES totally within our price range! Welp... I just spoke with a courteous Rick in the service department about replacing a key fob (keyless remote) for my car. They quoted $125 plus $62.50 for programming. Overpriced, but he was upfront about the cost and the need to program all key fobs at once (which was included). I've learned that some locksmiths in the area may sell and program keyless remotes at a fraction of the cost. Ever since I got my car from here around last Christmas this dealership has been nothing but a joy to deal with. Great sales team, pros in the management and finance office and the service department second to none! Not to mention it is all wrapped in just a beautiful brand new facility that is a pleasure to hang out in when you need to come down and get something done. Today I needed to have a few little items repaired and or replaced on my vehicle and my service person Alicia Lynch is always just so awsome to work with! She always takes great care of me whether I need a loner car or letting me know about a recall part that needs to be replaced and I really appreciate that. I came in bright and early at 8AM Saturday morning after stopping by and making an appointment with her earlier in the week and she was already there bright and early too to greet me...which was super cool. I wasn't sure if a couple things I was going to end up having to pay for or not but to my surprise and elation it was all taken care of under warranty and I got a free oil change, a tire rotation and a carwash and was done in about a couple of hours! Time flew by with the free Wi-Fi and comfortable couches. They have a wonderful coffee bar with pastries and fruit and flat screen TVs also just incase you don't happen to bring your iPad or Starbucks with you. Hint hint... Let me tell you the scam Pete at Keyes Chevy tried to pull on me. Preface: I got an oil change last month at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (21000 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364) and they spent about an hour and a half changing my oil because they couldn't get the oil plug off easily. Fast forward to two days ago...was driving down PCH and I got an alert in my car that said "Oil pressure low. Turn off engine." So I immediately pulled over and had to get it towed. My powertrain allowed me to tow the car to any Chevy dealer within 25 miles, so I chose Keyes since it was closest to my apartment. I spoke with Pete at Keyes, told him about the issue I had at Valvoline, and he told me that, after inspecting my car, that I needed a new engine because the people at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (where I got my oil changed a month prior) must have screwed up my oil plug and it must have fallen out while I was driving. So I had to call Valvoline to get them to replace the ENTIRE ENGINE or else I would have to shell out $7,000 myself to replace the engine. Well, when you file a claim with an oil change place like Valvoline, they have to make a trip to where the damaged car is to inspect the issue and see if it was indeed their fault. To their amazement, my car was actually still running and the engine DIDN'T need to be replaced... it just needed a new oil plug and new oil. The guys at Valvoline Instant Oil Change PAID for new oil, a new oil plug, and the diagnostic fees and took my car back to their shop to clean the oil off of the bottom of my car. I picked up my car from Valvoline and DROVE it home. Pete at Keyes tried to SCAM me out of an entire engine. I had trouble sleeping and eating while thinking I was going to have to spend $7k that I didn't have on a new engine. The people at Valvoline saved the day. I really don't like doing reviews but I would hate for someone especially a female to have to deal with the same issues I have. I bought my car in late august, I noticed the breaks were squeaking upon leaving the dealership and immediately turned around Moises the sales guy said they would fix it after ordering break pads. Since then I have been back THREE different times to get breaks changed. The last visit which was this Saturday the service manager suhail told me that it is now a characteristic of my car and Nissans like his own squeak when you you need to break. Mind you that is the service MANAGER highest level of contact telling me that my car will speak forever. UNACCEPTABLE. The car would have been returned that day if I was not promised that it would be fixed and for something as simple as breaks I did not think that I would still be dealing with this issue, to add along with a squeaky car they removed the tint from my car because it was peeling and on the rear window it was not removed properly and there's half a tint on which I didn't see until they brought the car to me after signing. Why would they take the tint off the back if they didn't know how to do it properly ? Right I don't know. Along with that the drivers side sun visor is broken and has been on back order since before august. Every time I call the dealership they tell me to talk to service. Which leads back to the service manager who said my breaks will squeak forever. Either Keyes Cheverolet needs a new mechanic, service manager or they should not be selling Nissans if they can't change the breaks and get them not to squeak or don't sell defective cars . read more

In the market for pre-owned Bolt EV. I did my homework beforehand and looked up inventory in my area and they had 5 examples on the lot. Eventually narrowed down to one and I checked it out/test drove. Then the fun begins. Usual car buying shenanigans. Haggle back and forth on price. I walked off the lot at one point until they came close enough to my target OTD that I stepped back in. But then I got more flack from someone else on their sales team for what I was asking for in the price. Ugh. That little tirade from whoever that sales person was for nothing on their part. ~3 hours from stepping foot on the lot to leaving with a car near the OTD price (within a few hundred) I thought was fair. But while this car was CPO (Certified Pre Owned) with the "100s of point inspection", apparently they forgot to change out the cabin air filter which was original from the factory even though I have paperwork showing it was "checked". The maintenance schedule clearly states this should've been changed by now. Um no, it wasn't. Am I going to drive all the way back there ( I live 30 miles away) for a job that takes 5 minutes and a part that costs ~$30 I could do myself? Nope. Took care of it myself. So, after my entire experience I'd say this is par for the course of an auto dealership. If you're in the market for a car and they have it on the lot, come prepared and do your homework. Because otherwise they will squeeze you for as much as they can. read more

BUT -If you want no pressure no bs experience that doesn't make you regret devoting a day to buying a car come here - but ask for Sammy ahead of time. We walked in and said we know what we want and we want to test drive - we met Sammy and bam were in the car within 10 minutes. He gave us objective no pressure info on three different levels of the Chevy 2017 Volt . Even when we were wavering between base model and upgraded model he was no pressure hands off - always encouraging us to do what we felt comfortable with. Even when it came to talk price and terms , I felt like I was negotiating with the car dealership and that Sammy was on our side getting US the best deal - not the other way around. I've purchased many cars over the last four decades, and I can honestly say that my recent experience with Keyes Chevrolet and my sales person Andrew Babcock was, by far, the smoothest, and least stressful of all. I chose my car several months before it was available for sale. I came into the dealership, Andrew approached me and I began asking him questions about this car. Not much was known at that time; however, he answered the questions that he could and promised to contact me upon the car's arrival. In January 2017, I received an email from Andrew stating the cars were there and I could possibly test drive one. I came to the dealership and we took a test drive. I had several questions because I had not purchased a car since 1999 and this car was an all electric car. I found myself overwhelmed with all the technology that I knew nothing about. Andrew was extremely patient and over the course of three visits to the dealership, he taught me as much as he could about how to use the car. All this was PRIOR to the purchase. I thought that once the purchase was made, the wonderful service I had been receiving would end. That is not the case. The place didn't appear to be busy, so I wandered over to the receptionist. She at least asked me if I had been helped, I said "no" she said she would try to get a sales associate to help me. At this point I thought she might pick up her phone or something, but instead she started shuffling papers. I waited for a little while, still nothing so I left. I also had previously filled out one of those "Request a Quote" forms on their website, I did get one reply which was likely automated or from some boiler room, but no like follow up call or nothing. Just bought a used 2007 Zo6 Corvette from Keyes during their 4th of July sale. My salesman Guy Richardson was a pleasure to work with. Transaction went smoothly. I felt like I got a good deal on the car. Test drove before lunch. Then went home thought about it for a couple of hours, called back and made a deal on the phone. They had me in the car by sundown. Two semi minor issues did come up with the car during the 1000 mile warranty period. A small radiator hose leak and a minor body front bumper issue. Not completely unexpected that something could go wrong as it was a used car. Keyes fixed both of these issues free of charge even though they may not have technically been covered under the warranty. In my opinion with that they went above and beyond and really earned my respect. I am a 100% satisfied customer. When the time comes I will defiantly shop here first for my next corvette. Purchased my brand new 2020 Colorado ZR2 about a little over a month ago and was happy with the service provided by the Sales Assistant, Brandon. Awesome guy and easy going. I had an issue with my truck recently with the valve on my rear tire - Basically, the valve was bad from stock. This was about a little over a month after purchasing the truck and was a bit annoyed that I was already having an issue. This truck not being my daily driver, I know it's not something that has been caused by my own "wear and tear" - Less than 500 miles on it. I brought it in to the service dept. and they wouldn't help me sort out the situation and said it's not under warranty. Annoyed, since I don't drive it all that much, I went to speak to Brandon and Jeff in the Sales dept. to explain my situation.
