Would recommend 100% - the crew was polite, respectful of our items, and worked very quickly. They arrived a few minutes early and finished in less time the was originally quoted. As other reviews have listed, they provide FREE boxes (as long as you can go pick them up at their warehouse) - I've moved a few times in Chicago and have never gotten this service from another company. They also offer UNLIMITED wardrobe boxes at no additional fee (and packed/unpacked them for us!). Our move happened during the COVID stay at home order, the company called me the day before to assure us that the movers would have masks and would keep their distance (and asked us to do the same). I was so impressed with the top notch quality, thoroughness, speed and professionalism offered by Trini and Mimi of Chicagoland Moving & Storage. Owner himself came over for a quote the next day after I called. I really like the in person quote because they can look at your apartment and get a sense of how long it would take for the whole move, so the quote is an accurate estimate. Crew arrived on time, very fast and super friendly, moved my 1 bedroom within 3 hours with 3 movers (close distance move). They did a great job with everything! My husband and I have moved 3 times in 5 years, so we could be considered professional movers. We used a different mover previously, but my realtor recommended Erez and Chicagoland Movers, so I called for an estimate. Immediately I felt relieved from Erez's calm demeanor, and after my virtual tour for a price quote, his prices were very reasonable, including 3 weeks of storage at their facility, so I signed the contract. In moving day, the crew arrived on time, wearing masks, and immediately started protecting all the flooring in the house. Each item was tagged, logged, protected, and carefully loaded onto their truck. The crew was friendly and worked like a well oiled machine. Domingo was the Crew Leader and was incredibly nice and accommodating. We had to have our possessions stored for 3 weeks at their facility, which turned into 4 weeks, and Erez handled the last minute change professionally and calming. A day after the move-out, we received an email with a list of all our items to insure all were moved out.. On move-IN day, again, Domingo and the crew arrived on time, wore masks, protected everything that needed protecting and miraculously moved everything into our new, smaller home without 1 single bump on the walls, or any damage (scratch, dent, etc,) to any of our item. They were even kind enough to move a few items that I wanted in a different place than orifmginalky thought. And after the move-IN, we received a second email listing all the items moved in. This is a highly recommended firm for any move. We had a complicated move over two days from house to storage and storage to new house with 4 trucks and two teams from the moving company. The leadership team Erez Ron and Kristin kept in contact on move dates and timing and the team showed up on time or early for all of the appointments. We moved into a brand new home and the team worked very hard to protect the floors, doorways, and furniture. None of our furniture was damaged and there was a very minimal scrape from a rather cumbersome treadmill going down a rather narrow stairway. The team told us about it and we appreciated that. Sharing one more act of honesty, one of the movers was pulling our dresser out of storage, he found a $20 bill in the drawer and immediately found my wife to give it to her so it was not lost. I would highly recommend this firm for their terrific service and professionalism. We had both Tito and Isreal as our foreman and they both communicated everything that was going on and kept their respective teams moving. We recently hired Chicagoland for a local move. Having moved five times now in the past 8 years, I've had experience with other moving services, and none of them compare to Chicagoland. The crew was led by Tito, and they were amazing. They showed up on time (actually 10 mins early!), did a great job getting all of our boxes and furniture loaded up safely and efficiently, and got us into our new place just as smoothly. What was most impressive is that every other time I have moved I've gone back and found a lot of small things left behind, and these guys left nothing. There wasn't anything left for me to do or to pack in my car. When we arrived at our new house, they placed mats and cardboard down so that all of the floors were protected, and were extremely careful moving everything in and putting our large furniture back together. I was even impressed that the woman (Rachel) who came out to give me the original quote showed up in person at our new house to check on how the move was going. I've never even had a moving company follow up after a move, let alone check-in in person during the move. If I could give more stars I would, because these guys were just that good. And the final cherry on top was that they charge by the hour, and finished our move faster than estimated, meaning we paid LESS than we were quoted. While I have no plans of moving again for a VERY long time, I will definitely be using Chicagoland again if/when another move happens. read more

This company rescued us with two days notice in early October after the house we were supposed to move into to had not been properly vacated by the previous owners. They were fast, thorough, careful, kind, and safe. Masks were worn the entire time. I don't think I even saw them take a break from 8am-5pm. They also stuck to their original estimate, which is rare. I can't say enough wonderful things about Chicagoland Moving! I contacted them a few weeks back along with several other moving companies. Their bid was not the cheapest but it wasn't the most expensive. What won me over was the communication from Erez (believe is owner) regarding our less then normal move. After speaking with me directly, rather than just filling out online form like other companies, he detailed quote. Upon our arrival back into Chicago 4 days prior to move, we live out of state, he came to condo to put eyes on our things and make sure quote was accurate. The day before move Tito and his team came out and packed everything up and got us ready for our reserved elevator time the next morning. Next morning Tito and team arrived prior to elevator reservation as to be ready once we could get moving. They were quick, efficient and careful. Onto our first stop, our storage unit to pick up everything there. How they got it all into the truck I have no idea but they did. Then onto our destination we're we unpacked into two storage units. Carefully organizing for access. They finished in u see the estimated time. I even had the storage unit manager at uhaul comment on how good these guys were and how well the packaged our furniture. I have moved across country 3 times, moved within cities at least 5 more times, this was the best experience I've ever had hands down. They made sure to thoroughly wrap all our large and breakable items and were able to navigate the narrow stairway without any damage. Selfish Convenience Over Customer Satisfaction. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I only got as far as attempting to schedule an estimate! I used their online booking tool to book a visit to receive an estimate, and then received an email the following morning asking to reschedule for a more convenient time (noted to be due to Friday evening traffic). Already disappointed. Moving is such a very chaotic time, and so we thought we might alleviate some of the stress by hiring help. We moved just a few miles from a condo to a condo. One had a tiny elevator and I was concerned that it would be pushed beyond its limit but they must've taken couches down the stairs because nothing broke. They did a fantastic job and I couldn't have asked for more. They were considerate, diligent, serious, prompt, efficient and finished a half hour earlier than the estimate allowed, so their estimator was right on, for the most part. I highly recommend them, and my realtors have already gotten their info to refer to others, as they also saw the great job they did. I was drawn to this company by the great reviews, so I used them for a move from Chicago to Louisville. The positives: the estimate was competitive, and the team both packing and unpacking were polite, professional, and efficient. If I were rating on them alone, they'd certainly get a 5. The negatives: timeliness and communication. I was moving out of an apartment complex with a strict moving policy- I had to pay a large amount of money to book the elevator for a 4 hour block from 8-12pm. I told the team about these parameters and that I needed them to be there by 8am. I reminded them via email before the move and was annoyingly adamant about it. 8:20 of moving day rolls around - nobody's arrived yet. Getting nervous, I called them up and they sounded confused, and said, "maybe we can be there by 11:15?" What! I panicked and they then said they could make it by 10AM. A little better, but still definitely not what we had agreed on! When the team arrived they said, "sorry about the mixup, dispatch told us to go do another job first, then come to you." So not only were they late, if I hadn't called them to ask where they were, they probably wouldn't have shown up until 11:15, with no communication to me. Even after I had made it very clear that the move had to be done early. They were out of the elevator by 12:00 on the nose (my anxiety was through the roof at this point; my apartment charges double the move fee if you're late. I spent the entire morning pacing around.) but they weren't out of the dock door I booked until 12:06. Fast forward to delivering the stuff in Louisville. They said they'd call me the day before dropping it off to let me know when they'd arrive. 5pm the day before rolls around, no phone call. I called them, they had no idea (so I guess nobody was planning to call me) and said they'd figure it out and let me know. Returned the call and told me 9AM. The following day my phone rang at 7:40 saying they'd be there in 15 minutes. I'd rather earlier than late, but still there's a miss in communication here. Overall, they're good movers- they packed everything quickly and well- but they won't keep you posted on timing. If that's not a big deal to you and you're flexible on specific times- go for them. If you're in a boat like mine where your apartment requires timeliness, keep looking. For me, when I'm paying that much money, I think it's fair to expect them to stick to an agreed time. read more

Beyond awesome! Hired Chicagoland to swap rooms of furniture in my house including a slate-based, incredibly heavy pool table. The crew of 6 showed up exactly on time and were extremely polite. They moved all the furniture in 30 minutes and double checked to make sure the furniture was where I wanted it. There was a 2-hour minimum charge and a small truck fee. This is a very good moving company. I would use them again or recommend to friends or family. The two owners I met during the estimation are treating their business seriously. The movers were doing a great job packing and moving and all very polite. I packed some stuff myself as well and run out of boxes. It was Xmas time of 2017, super cold days. I called the owner and ask if I can have some boxes delivered. Within couple hours, they have someone delivered the boxes in different sizes. Can't beat the service. Moving went well too.
