THIS PLACE LIES. We had a coupon for this place: $10 off your order of $20+. Ordered and added a few extra things to get the total to $20. Got a receipt after entering the coupon and the code didn't work. Called after waiting 20 minutes past our estimated delivery time to check on things and mentioned that the code didn't work. Was then told that the coupon only works if it's $20 total BEFORE taxes, which the coupon does NOT say, anywhere. Both the employee and the general manager I spoke to about this were very rude, not helpful and said the only way they could apply it was if I ordered more, therefore calling the driver back and waiting additional time. At one point, the manager basically said it was my fault for ordering so early. I apologize for giving you business; didn't know it was such a problem to apply a coupon that you refused to let us use due to a couple dollars difference. The card even says "restrictions written on back" but says nothing about the order must be $20 total before taxes. Never again. Not to mention: pizza still hasn't arrived and it's now 11am (estimated delivery time was 10:30). Edit to reply to the deceptive comment: I did not call this business after the driver arrived. I called twenty to thirty minutes BEFORE the already late driver arrived. So right off the bat, this business is lying. Second of all, how nice of a business to assert that I'm trying to pinch pennies! Isn't that so kind and exactly how you treat customers? When placing this order with the coupon in mind (and by the way, legally speaking: if you want to have the coupon be applicable to a total after taxes, you have to notate that--simply just thinking "that's how every business does it" is not how you run a business), I did not think of taxes. I simply added things to my basket until the total showed over $20. However, again, I truly appreciate the business saying I was trying to pinch pennies. That's so incredibly demeaning and beyond how I have ever been treated by a business. Finally, my attitude did not escalate until I was treated rudely by the individuals on the phone. Again, however, I'm not at all surprised this person is lying in their response to make the business look innocent. Again, this business was arguing with me over about a dollar or two. Had I ordered a dollar more, the coupon would have been applicable by their terms (which were not listed on the coupon). These people are liars and trying to rip innocent people off; do not order from them. I am allergic to onions. I placed an order through Uber eats which unfortunately did not have a note section to request no onions. I contacted the business within five minutes of placing the order and try to explain myself to the guy on the phone. He seemed to have been very upset that I went through Uber eats and let me know about it and also let me know that when we place the order through Uber eats Chicago Pizza does not get paid by the customer but by Uber and that he did not care that I was allergic to onions the pizza was already in the oven. So I'm just supposed to eat this pizza with onions on it. Super ridiculous. I appreciate the education on the ins and outs of Uber eats and restaurants and how restaurants get paid but that is not my concern and that is not something that Customer should be punished. I've been ordering from this place for a few years. Their pasta dishes and sandwiches are usually solid; and delivery is always fast. But, the pizza I ordered tonight was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. It had almost NO sauce. What I got was less of a pizza, and more of a dry, brittle, flavorless pizza dough with cheese. We were craving pizza, but had to find gluten free options. Drawn to this site because of the way the site raves about their amazing gluten free crust. I bought it. I regret it. The deep dish crust is gummy and pasty. The crisp outside of it is tasty, so if I ever get tempted to go here again, I'll opt for thin crust because I couldn't even eat the gloppy crust, it was just gross. The cheese, sausage and veggies were very good. My leftovers will see me taking the good stuff off the crust and just heating that to eat. I'm not from around here any more, 40 years removed from living in Chicago, so I'm not used to paying $26 for a small pizza, especially for one that I have to throw over half of it away. read more

Don't order anything but pizza from here. We ordered delivery from here. I ordered bbq chicken wrap combo with chips. They forgot the chips which were a whopping $2.50 (must be some damn good chips at that price... wish I had some.) The wrap itself was more of a vegan wrap with very few pieces of chicken in it. The only reason I gave it three stars is because the kid answering the phone is very nice and polite tonight. The order was wrong, partly because the online ordering system is very confusing and partly because the online site keeps resetting the menu choices and delivery info every time you modify something. Great food- I have ordered delivery from them for many years. Too pricey though. I've noticed it gets higher and higher all the time. Too much $ for pizza toppings, all of the prices get higher each time I order. With the delivery fee, tip, tax and high prices built in I spent over $50.00 on a medium 2 topping pizza, chicken tenders and a side salad. $50.00!!! I know many restaurants have struggled during the pandemic, however this is not one of them. Take out and delivery places have thrived, so there's no need to raise prices this much in my opinion. The first time I dined at this fine establishment I drunkenly stumbled in and got a slice. After proclaiming it as the best pizza I've had in my life I was assured by friends that my feelings were only such because I had indulged such pizza at two in the morning three sheets to the wind. So I went back, and while the pizza wasn't quite THAT good, it still absolutely held up. I've since been back for their non-pizza selections (pasta, sandwiches and the like) and everything seems to hold up nicely as well. It may not be the best food in town, but it is definitely a meal worth having. Gluten free pizza lovers rejoice! So happy to finally find a decent piece of place that carries gluten-free crusts and not just any gluten-free cross really good ones! I'm talking crispy yet light and flaky crossed with flavor that isn't cardboard! The sauce has a nice flavor not too sweet. The cheese taste high-quality as well as all of the ingredients I've tried so far. You can also get garlic bread that's gluten free as they make a gluten free focaccia that is delicious. The Establishment itself is clean and nicely decorated nice welcoming casual ambience. Delivery is what I typically do and they tend to be very prompt and give good estimates on their Pizza ETA. I think some places just tell you an amount of time without actually taking into consideration how long it's going to take. Chicago pizza is usually very accurate. I've only ever had wonderful customer service experiences at Chicago's Pizza, and the staff has all been great overall. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease back in 2012 and I've been on the hunt for a safe (no cross contamination) and tasty pizza ever since. Even though many places now offer gluten free foods, many restaurants don't understand what Celiac is and just think that gluten free is another fad diet. They are misinformed and uneducated on the importance of cross contamination and what foods actually contain gluten. However, for people like me who actually HAVE to eat gluten free or risk getting extremely ill, I have to say Chicago's Pizza is by far the best restaurant to eat at. My boyfriend found a coupon in our neighborhood and saw that Chicago's Pizza offers gluten free deep dish and stuffed pizza, as well as gluten free sandwiches, pasta, salads, apps, and desserts. We decided to order last night and I am SO thankful we did. Chicago's Pizza is very knowledgeable on Celiac disease, takes cross contamination very serious, and actually makes their gluten free pizza delicious (and if you have the burden of eating gluten free, you know how awful some gluten free pizzas can taste). I even had my boyfriend (who does not have Celiac and does not eat gluten free) taste it and he was shocked by how good it was. I'm a huge fan of this place. As someone who is Gluten Free, it's amazing to find a place that has gf pizza that tastes normal. Their deep dish is great, as is their thin crust. It's a little pricey, but worth It and I find myself ordering from here 1-2 times a month. Two days ago I ordered an XL gluten free pizza and an antipasto salad. I didn't end up eating the salad until yesterday and It made me violently sick and I'm now home from work still sick. My boyfriend said not to eat the meats because they didn't look good but I did anyways, thinking I've never had a problem with this place. Anddddd now I regret It. Yes 5 stars for Chicagos, probably unexpected for most people seeing this on Yelp, let me explain: I have had a long history with Chicago's Pizza. In college Chicagos would be a rather standard late night food delivery solution so actually I got to know their pizza very well. I would say that it is good stuffed pizza... I stopped ordering from them for a while because on a huge order (like 40 pizzas) we got jipped like 2 or 3 of them. I got mad and didn't order from them for several years. However, they recently introduced their gluten free pizza. My girlfriend who has celiac disease was very excited about it and for the last few months we have ordered it a few times. - The first time we tried the gluten free stuffed pizza it was so doughy that it was really hard to eat. The crust and dough wasn't working at all. I would say poor performance. - We tried on another occasion the thin crust, which was also ok. - Yesterday we tried the stuffed pizza again and something has changed! Their gluten free stuffed was so good that at a point I was really scared that they delivered to us the wrong pizza. After confirming, I realized that they must have improved their recipe and actually I would now say it is probably the best gluten free pizza I have had in Chicago. The pizza is no longer super doughy as it was before and the crust is actually quite crunchy. The crust is different from the regular chicago's stuffed pizza, but the actual pizza part I would say is very very close to regular Chicago's pizza. For my girlfriend it was mind blowing, not only can she order pizza like a normal person but they also deliver until 5 AM. Wow, this place was SUCH a surprise. When you walk in, it's not much to look at it; if anything, it gives off a bit of a cheap diner-y feel, especially with the case of pizza slices on the counter, like I see at some gas stations. I had reservations that the deep dish here would be any good. Complimentary house bread was whatever. Grilled calamari appetizer was whatever. By this point, I suspected the pizza would be extremely mediocre, but we had come here for the gluten free deep dish as my boyfriend has Celiac, and I figured crap gluten free deep dish is better than no deep dish, I suppose. And then magic happened. Our spinach/Italian sausage deep dish arrived and it was SO AMAZING. Perfectly buttery, flavorful crust (could NOT tell it was gluten free at all, wtf!) topped with gooey, melty, saucy happiness. I COULD NOT believe how good it was. It's better than Lou Malnati, better than Giordano's, and only SLIGHTLY below Gino's East. Barely though. Huge pie, btw (the small had 6 slices). Ended up having an amazing sangria as well and the waitress was seriously the nicest. As I said, the calamari and bread were very forgettable, and I can't speak to the other thousand things on their menu, but just get the damn pizza. You won't regret it. Have you ever seen someone pour salt on a slug? How this glossy, plump little creature dries to an indiscernible patch of nothing in less than 15 seconds? This is the feeling I got after taking a bite of this pizza. Salt, salt, salt, dear god more salt. The pepperoni was salty, the cheese was salty, I think even the crust was salty but at that point I couldn't taste much anymore. After 2 bites I gave up the good fight and threw it out. Folks, I am a salt whore. I would much rather have a salty peanut than a sweet pastry any day of the week. But when even I cant handle it you know it's bad! Everytime I order from this place, they bring deliciousness to my door! Mmm, I've ordered delivery from here three times and I have no cause for complaints. I've ordered the pizza once at 3am and it was good... although the memory is kind of fuzzy. The two other times I ordered their chicken noodle soup... delicious and italian sub. Also good. I have tried their caprese sticks and its okay. I had to add my own balsamic vinagrette to make it taste the way I like, but the basil was really fresh. Yummy! Chicago's boasts a menu that should satisfy no matter which pizza philosophy you espouse. Thin crust, thick crust, and regular crust are all available as well as a list of "gourmet" options for each. Their gourmet options are all very tastey if not mindblowingly unique. I especially recommend the mexican and greek pizzas. Not a pizza fan? No problem. There's also a wide variety of appetizers and a decently sized pasta menu. Fettucini con Vodka is a must try! Chicago's loses 1 star due to extremely inconsistant delivery times. I have to say that Chicago Pizza was good to me last week. I had just returned from an out of town trip. It was getting late I was tired and just not up for cooking. I decided to give them a try since I could get delivery. I wasn't disappointed by any means. I ordered the veggie gourmet pizza and added prosciutto. It was delicious. The didn't skimp on the toppings at all. There was lots of eggplant (anything eggplant is tasty in my book) and spinach and mushrooms and even broccoli. They were also generous with the prosciutto. I really like straying from the Big 3 of Deep Dish, so a friend recommended Chicago Pizza for a date spot. I was definitely not disappointed. It was pretty low-key for most of the night with only a few other tables filled. The complimentary focaccia was a really nice touch, and the entire restaurant had a great atmosphere for a date. My friend raved about the crust and I was not let down. It was definitely one of the better crusts I've had since moving to the home of deep dish. The sauce was ok, but didn't blow me away. The cheese and toppings were applied liberally and went well with the entire pizza. I think if the sauce were tuned just a bit and not spread so thin, this could easily become a favorite. I've never heard of this place being packed and parking is mostly meters, but usually pretty easy to find. read more

I almost always order out so I can't say much for the location itself. But the food is pretty good. The thin crust pizza is ok. It tastes good but the crust is always a little tough. I love the pasta. They have gourmet pastas that are relatively inexpensive averaging about $12, and they really load the bread on you. It also comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. They also have dessert including an assortment of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. Service is great. I usually order out and the delivery is often under an hour even during weekends. They disappeared from Grub Hub delivery for a while for some reason but they have returned with a vengence with no minimum, so you're not ordering large pizzas with 100 buffalo wings just to meet the minimum. Can you write an objective opinion on just one type of pizza? HELL YEAH! I have had Chicago's three times now and each time I have gotten the same kind. Their Four Cheese Pizza with tomato and basil. BALLS! That is some damn good pizza! The gouda cheese is perfect on it. The roasted garlic stands out with the fresh tomato. Now, granted, the first time I had it was at 4 am after a night of drinking. Let's face it, at that time, eating a shoe would have been amazing. Absolutely LOVE Chicago's Pizza! I have been ordering delivery from here for over 10 years and the food is always hot fresh and on time. Here is a list (in no particular order) of some of my favorite menu items: Fried Cauliflower: Breaded, fried and served with a side of marinara. These crispy little guys are one of my absolute favorites. Try them with a side of ranch as well. Niki's Creation Salad: Mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, walnuts and gorgonzola cheese with a special dressing that I am assuming is homemade. I have been eating this salad as long as I've been ordering from Chicago's and it's one of my favorites in the city. Pizza: So Chicago's Pizza does have really great deep dish but my favorite on their menu is from their gourmet pizza section and is called the Grecian Delight! Goat cheese, green olives, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, mozzarella cheese, and sliced fresh tomato over pesto sauce makes it freaking A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I always ask for extra goat cheese but it's great just as is. I noticed recently on the menu that several menu items can be ordered gluten free now including this pizza. I know I've had other amazing dishes from here but these are my go to's when ordering. read more

Yes!!!! Such a good decision! I was diagnosed with celiac a couple months ago and have missed good pizza, and this place is amazing. They have dedicated pans and ovens and the service is great. They brought out gluten-free bread that was even better than the pizza! It was warm and fresh and crunchy yet soft and had the consistency of normal bread! My dad even liked it more than the regular bread. We got the deep-dish with pepperoni, green peppers, olives, and pineapple. Fantastic. This was the best gluten-free pizza I've had so far!
