Having been to many Chick-Fil-A locations in several different states the food is all the same. A spicy chicken sandwich in Downey, CA is the same as it is in Salt Lake City, or Atlanta, GA. No difference. So food wise this location is no different than the rest and that's a good thing. The problem is this location is painfully slow. When the drive thru line is looped back around almost to the entrance, and it takes you 20 minutes to get through from start to finish, that's ridiculous. And on our visit they got our order wrong. We repeated it, they read it back, but someone inside apparently didn't read the screen and we got shorted on our order. 2 Stars. No matter how good the food might be, you can't give good marks for food that you paid for but didn't get. read more

All horrible experience with my food, staff is always friendly and helpful but 3x out of 5 my order was INCORRECT, I never have this problem at the one in the City of Industry. Drove into their long drive-thru line at 10:53 looking to order some breakfast (which ends at 11am on Saturdays). By the time I got to the ordering screen it was a few minutes after 11, and the person taking orders said they couldn't give me breakfast anymore because they stop serving at 11. Delicious! I came to visit my Aunt last night and I was already feeling a bit lazy, so hearing that I had to come to Chick-fil-A made me feel even more lazy! I will admit, the drive through line was a bit long, but there was staff ready to take my order on foot. Even though the size of the line was enormous, the wait time was not. 20 minutes and we were out! We ordered 4 chicken sandwiches, 3 orders of fries, 1 order of chicken nuggets, 3 lemonades, and a small ice cream cone. The entire order was correct! Upon arriving to the window, I was presented with the largest ice cream cone in my life... even though I had ordered the small! One cannot complain about that. They already had the drinks in a cup holder, which was amazing because a lot of places wait until you ask for it. The food was given to us in two bags, and it all fit perfect. The only reason I am holding back from giving the establishment 5 stars is because of the lack of sauces they had given us. We only received 4 sauces, which was a bummer because we had to make that stretch across all our food. My review is based on my drive through experience though! I been going here for years! I love this location and Chick fill a in general! Food: The food is always out fast, and always fresh and really tasty. I usually get the spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese, cookie yogurt parfait and an Arnold palmer with unsweet tea. Also, if you want to eat healthy they have healthy options such as the spicy southwest salad, it's sooo good with chili lime vinaigrette. The grilled deluxe with honey roasted sauce is also delicious. Also, if you're feeling breakfast the chicken minis are the best. You can even order them during regular lunch hours if you get 10 of them. Super tasty and expect the best quality. Chick fill a is a little more on the high end of fast food, so you get what you pay for. They very rarely mess up my order, and if for whatever reason it does happen they'll always been sure to fix it. Also when ordering food be sure to use your app for free treats! Service: The service is great, the staff is always polite even during rushes. They regularly ask you if you want a refill on your beverage as long as it's not busy. The staff is really well trained and you can tell they work well as a team. The only bad side of chick fill a is the app and the same inconsistent results I have with the app... There was one time when it automatically use one of my treats when I didn't want to use it and I told a female manager(?) with a blue shirt and curly hair... Fast service! And I mean fast that I was surprised. Please keep it fast. I have a 30 minute lunch break, so I was worried that it might take too long to drive there, wait for my order, and drive back. This was my first time here and the moment I walked in, the staff (all that I came in contact with) was welcoming me and smiling. It made me feel comfortable and at ease. If I didnt have to go back to work, I'd eat in at this Chick-fil-A. I guess Im not use to nice welcomes from other places because the warm, friendly atmosphere felt weird at first. Im just not used to a welcoming entrance and friendly service, but Id go here because theyre so friendly. Other places should learn from the Downey Chick-fil-A. Avoid this chick-fil-A like the plague on weekdays during after school hours, it's full of teenagers just sitting around taking up space. Today, I was asked if I wanted my food to go because there was nowhere for my children to and me to sit.
