Today is one of those days. We wanted to try out this location so we did since we were already in town. Coming from the West side we rarely make it around this area so mine as well try it. Service was great and efficient enough to where it kept the lines going but it was up to the point where we got our food. The food was good except that they didn't give me my complete order. I had quickly checked the bag to make sure everything was in there and it did seem like it. So I left and come to find out I was missing an item from my order. I had called their phone line and left a message but of course, who would call back from a fast food establishment right. I would be surprised if I get a call back. Honestly, it would've been a good experience if the workers were trained to double-triple check the items before giving it to the customer. Now I'm out a couple dollars because of this. I dont know what system they got but its not working they always get the order WRONG! If you don't check before you drive off your order will def be wrong. Any other fast food like mc donalds or burger king might seem like they have no system but they DONT EVER forget or get the order wrong even if you dont check. There are two chick-fil-a's and I prefer the one in Ala Moana's food court because the other location's drive through congested the main artery towards downtown almost every morning with Mc Donald's directly across the street for years which also blocks a lane but that wasn't an issue until Chick-Fil-A blocked the otherwise directly across the street exactly where they recently built it. :/ i've only gone there when I was stuck to go there with friends who were driving and their staff they are young and very friendly and very quick to get people off the street with the lines just in unmanageable and causes a lot of stress, anxiety and a lot of people honking horns very early in the morning with large condominiums nearby. So I went back for lunch and used the 'reward' I got for completing their survey about my Chick-Fil-A experience which was a free chicken sandwich. I also got their waffle fries and a couple of their sauces; the spicy sirachia and bbq. The chicken sandwich was still nice and crunchy (and warm) by the time I got home. The waffle fries were cooked just right and the two sauces really complimented the meal. The woman who took my order was pleasant from start to finish. I went at 1028 and there was a lineup of cars on Beretania already for lunch. She was directing traffic and was helpful throughout my ordering. I received my order quickly and the woman who brought it out to me was also pleasant and friendly. The two experiences that I had were like night and day. Visited on 10/18/23 at 6:30pm. Line was not long, and moved fairly quickly. My husband and I are on a low carb diet, so we asked for lettuce wrapped which they obliged without any problems. We got the spicy chicken deluxe. The chicken was crispy, temperature hot and juicy! Looked like they worked out most of the kinks of being new as the line of cars were efficiently serviced. I grew up eating chic-fil-a, so I was super excited to try it in Hawaii. Before they opened here, I always tried to schedule layovers in Denver just to satisfy my chic-fil-craving. And I always eat it in when I visit my family back east. Anyhow, I was surprised at how well the drive thru set up worked here. The line moved quickly, and it was very efficient. The staff was very pleasant. My lemonade and waffle fries taste the same as I recall. But the chicken nuggets tasted different to me. They were just okay, and now I feel like I won't be going there as much as I anticipated. Maybe I'll try it again to see if this was a fluke but probably not anytime soon. read more

Five stars! Chick Filet did Honolulu right. Today is the start of spring break in Honolulu so mild traffic. No lines as I was coming home so I slid in line. Was greeted by the happiest checker ever. Thought I would give the new Beretania location a try on Fri morning for breakfast to-go. No line on Beretania St. Lots of employees at 8am to guide you through the line, take your order and payment. Friendly employees greeted you and thanked you. Think they have a great set-up. Got the bacon, egg and cheese muffin breakfast. Was as good as it gets. Had signage on Beretania St. to "not block driveway" for condo next door. Cones set up on B. St. to form line into CFL. read more

This location started as five stars but it's now only one. When they first opened they had plenty of help, two lanes open, quick service. I just left this location, everything has changed in just a few short weeks. They no longer allow you to drive up for curbside order, they no longer have the second lane open, you cannot place any orders into the menu when you drive in, and they are severely shorthanded so traffic is backed up. I asked one of the employees why this was happening and they said they don't have enough help. I told the guy who was handing the food out at the delivery that if they don't have enough help they need to pay more. It's one location that probably cost them a fortune and now I am no longer going. I want to drive in, order my food and drive out. That's not so hard, that's exactly what a drive in is. lf you can't order your food online for the curbside pickup then that option needs to be removed from the app. They told me the curbside pickup doesn't work because it creates more traffic. I'm not understanding the design of this building however I do understand good service. And I don't mind waiting in line if I can get my food quickly. Completely disappointed and never going back until changes are made. I guess l'Il be going to McDonald's across the street they at least have employees that show up to work and a pretty simple drive-in system. read more

The food. Eh... is good, but not wow where i am craving it. Is pretty tasty, but its still fast food tasty. I will say that its better than mcdonalds. The service is quick and friendly for the most part. People doing their job, most of them like it. Some of them are there for the cash. Its up and down, but mostly up i guess. My biggest complaint is the parking. For pick up orders you can only park on the road. There is a sign that says, "pick up orders" but its coned off. I asked the workers if these are reserved for customers who are picking up and they said no. It is for the workers. In fact all the parking stalls are for the workers. Why would you have signs for customers AND handicapped stalls that are inaccessible? Anyone got any answers? The lines are still long and i ordered off the ap. The best thing about this location is the convenience. The Cobb salad (my favorite) hardly has any chicken, bacon & cheese, mostly lettuce, and it's over $10. I've been to many locations in the mainland and never has this issue. They always say the receipt is in the bag, but most of the time I get no receipt. Seriously impressed by how fast the drive thru line went buy so quick, efficient and smooth sailing. There was a long drive thru line so I decided to just do it and see how long it took me. Literally 10 minutes! I was coming from Piikoi, turning right into Beretania to get into the lane where the drive thru was on Beretania. I think it was a good idea to have police guide the traffic flow, it would've been a lot more hectic I think if no police were present. Once I turned right into Beretania, I saw from behind me the line was pretty long on Beretania was well. But once I arrived into the lot, I was greeted by a young man, and proceeded to move forward to all the other workers up ahead. Seriously smooth sailing, taking my order while I proceed to move up. There were other workers that I assumed came from the mainland to help with this locations opening. Pretty awesome. I missed this place, used to have it all the time when I lived in Arizona, it was one of my pregnancy cravings I needed to have every week lol I'm so happy it finally came to hawaii. After all these years of waiting for the final word to get it down here haha. Anyway, ordered myself and my kids the chicken nuggets entree meal and a kids meal.
