Placed our mobile order at 11:20 when arriving at the drive through line we did not get our food until 12:20!!!! Yes, 1 hour later for 2 chicken sandwiches. What a joke! They couldn't find the order so they had us just waiting in the drive through the very young worker came to our truck 3 times and still did not know what was going on. We finally had to leave the drive through after sitting there for 45 minutes and go inside then waited another 15 minutes. Get it together CFA. Awful experience. I definitely would not recommend coming here, unless you want to waste 1 hour of your time for a shitty chicken sandwich! read more

Just the absolute best service!!! The staff is so friendly and genuinely positive, even through the heavy pace they have to keep up. The management is accommodating, welcoming, and kind. I have yet to have a bad experience at this location, and doubt I ever will. They even handed out umbrellas for guests outside when it was raining. I was on my way to Ulta this afternoon for hand crème and found myself at the beginning of the Chick-fil-A drive-through line... I asked the CFA employee "Andrew" what the hype was all about it... he replied "Southern Chicken!" I thought, "ok maybe I'll try it later." I drove towards Ulta and parked. After shopping at Ulta, the parking lot took me straight to the CFA drive-through line. Andrew re-directed me to order inside since "it would probably be faster." (But really it was because the guy in the truck behind me complained of me "cutting" him in line. Too bad Andrew couldn't just explain to the other guy that it was just how the parking lot was structured and that I didn't cut him - whatever.) So to play nice, I complied. I went inside and ordered. Waited. Accepted my order when my name was called. I drove away with my order and only realized half way to Kihei that they only gave me 50% of my order. Why would they call my name, hand me a bag to NOT give me everything I paid for at once? I drove back 25 minutes (out of principle!) to the Chick-fil-A drive-through and told Andrew what happened. He apologized, kept one of the receipts and said he would have a manager credit my account for the missing items. After all of the inconveniences from start to finish, at the very least, I was hoping for at least a decent or even average chicken sandwich. Sadly, it was a flat-out disappointment. The chicken was dry, lettuce was soggy, tomato slices was under-ripe (green/hard) and just a waste of calories. I don't understand the hype but maybe I don't have to. I just hope Andrew remembers to credit my account for the money spent on wasted effort. Was super excited to try here since my husband & I never had it before. Drive thru line looked short so we decided to do that.... 45 minutes later we finally got our food (mind you we have a toddler and thank god she was napping the entire time!) -- 3 spicy chicken deluxe sandwiches, 1 regular chicken deluxe sandwich, 3 fries & one 8 piece chicken "nuggets". First, the drive thru line is dumb. Idk if the mainland ones are set up like this but while waiting for our food we witnessed 3 cars get their food but they couldn't leave bc they were stuck behind a car who didn't receive their order yet. Second, their chicken "nuggets" are little itty bitty PIECES. Third, our sandwiches & fries were all soggy. The only good thing was the lemonade. I'm giving the Chick-Fil-A Kahului location one star because they have inconsistent service. Once I ordered two of the same salad and somehow they looked entirely different from each other. Another time they forgot to put the filet into the salad. Another time they forgot to give the salad dressing. Sometimes they forget the sauces, other times they'll forget one of the smaller items, like a brownie or side order of fries. read more

Never have I thought I'd leave a negative review for a Chick-Fil-A, but here it is. Placed on order with mobile app for pick-up inside. There were about 10 people in line waiting to order. Got my drink within maybe two minutes, so obviously they knew I was there. Then I proceeded to watch everyone who ordered after me receive their food and a guy who walked in with mobile order well after me receive his food. I inquired about my order at the desk and didn't really receive an answer. Meanwhile it's party central with the employees in the back. All huddled around doing whatever they were doing. I finally got my order after about 15 minutes which was ridiculous considering. No telling how many times my order was passed over. Do better CFA!!! read more

Don't get me wrong the food here is great it's chic fila the service however or just the mentality of the people that work here is wierd. Literally spent a 100 dollars on food and they were missing a drink that we paid for. They would not believe that we were right and that they forgot one of our drinks. They had to get the manager and they kept asking for a receipt that we never got which they also insisted that they gave to us. Took 5 minutes to figure out they were wrong and we were right. I'm just not used to this kind of service at Chick-fil-A. Every time I've gone there they've been so nice and over the top about making the customer feel right even if they forgot a drink, they don't make it pay for it if you forget to drink here you're paying for it I don't know it's just weird here. read more

Chick-fil-A food needs no introduction; it is always consistently very good. However the Kahului location suffers from poor service, especially during the lunch hour, a heavy traffic time. Having eaten at this location three times in the past two weeks, the service issues are not sporadic, they are consistent. The line to place orders is typically 10-15 customers long as the cashiers also prepare drinks and run them to the tables. Once you get through the long line, empty tables are not bussed or cleaned. After cleaning your own table, you'll find the condiments area poorly stocked or empty. While dining in each of my three visits, I notice employees taking lunch breaks themselves; at the height of the lunch rush. This is a poor practice which results in the poor service found at this location. Might be better to direct employees to eat ahead of the rush or after. Chick-fil-A prides itself on great service. The management of this location may need a refresher course to fully achieve the service a dine in customer expects. This rating is based entirely on service. read more

This was the saddest chick -fil-A ever. We went through the drive thru and there were two order takers. We got skipped by them, and could not get their attention. So, I placed a mobile app order...hoping to get my order quickly at the window. I only ordered one salad. When we finally made it to the window...about 20 minutes later, no one acknowledged us. The workers just kept coming out and helping everyone behind us. I guess about 10 cars went around us. We finally got an employees attention. He apologized for the wait...but another 5 minutes or so passed and we had no food. We were getting impatient. Finally, we were able to get the attention of a grey shirt employee (maybe a supervisor..named Tahania). She was so rude!! She did not listen to what had happened or anything....very unapologetic and unprofessional. She said they ran out of chicken...which made no sense...given the 10 or so cars that passed us. Her tone was rude and she said it will be right up. No smile, just a face of anger. When I got the salad about 30 minutes later...it had fried chicken...and I wanted grilled. That was my fault...I did not have on my glasses as I did not plan to use my app to order food. I told her I could not eat that...and she said "why should I help you?" I seriously could not believe she said that. She is not there to serve customers...and help them I guess. I just can not believe she works for a company that is known for great customer service. I also feel sorry for the staff she leads, she does not have the typical "how can I help you" personality that most employees have. First Chick-fil-A in the state and as busy as any other Chick-fil-A that I have been to. My coworkers and I decided to go here after work since it was their first time to one. This location was super busy but we came pretty close to dinner time. Had to wait 20 minutes to get into the restaurant and another 15 minutes before we go to order. Decided on a number 1 combo with a lemonade. And it was delicious as I remembered it. It took about 10 minutes to get my order. One of my coworkers decided on getting the market salad and grilled nuggets. That took 30 minutes. But he was compensated with some sort of card. Overall, was it worth it? Yes. My coworkers did enjoy their meals but would prefer to use their app, which didn't take online orders at that time. read more

This has to rank up with one of my worst meals ever! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and a chocolate milkshake for $14. I order my food and go to sit down at a table, its filthy with food scraps so I go to another table and then another, finally I give up and just eat at a filthy table. The spicy chicken sandwich was not spicy at all and very tiny. The waffle fries were fried in oil at 200 degrees so they had the maximum amount of grease in them without being fully cooked. The chocolate shake was the only decent part of the meal but was brought out to me when I finished my food. At this point my stomach started hurting at 5 PM and continued to have stomach pains until 2 AM. At this point I had explosive diarrhea, but at least the stomach pain was gone. Arrived at 10:30 AM. Spent an hour in the drive thru lane until our food finally came. AN HOUR! Several cars behind ours got served before us??? Only ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, a fry and a drink. There were only 9 cars in front of me in our lane (2 lanes). By now the manager should have figured out how to make getting your food faster. The scary part is that you can NOT get out out of the drive thru lane in an emergency let alone if you don't want to wait that long. Anyone who has been to a Chic-fil-A on the mainland knows how they speed up the process to 10 minutes maximum! We won't be back ever. read more

We finally waited for the lines to shorten before trying this place. I appreciate the patience of the cashiers taking our order. They are very helpful and pleasant. We order the chick fil A sandwich deluxe meal with waffle fries. My wife opted for the kale salad instead of fries. I upgrade my drink to either a lemon or coffee freeze. We preordered on my phone and drove through the pick up. They actually come to your car to take your order if you didn't pre order. When you pre order, you describe your car so they know exactly who you are. WE have dined in and are impressed with the servers who bring the food to your table. There are also a station where you can help yourself to more napkins, utensil and straws. OH.... you can request every single sauce you desire. Our most favorite are the original regular sauce and the honey mustard. They have bbq, asian, etc, but I stick with the original and honey mustard. read more

The place is really clean and the bathroom are really clean. However, I'd recommend to use paper straws instead of plastic straws as plastic straws aren't environmental friendly. Having this once in the mainland and recalling I wasn't that impressed tried it here on Maui. Ordered in the dining room , the lines moves slow but it wasn't horrible. Mainly noticed how I odd I found it how many workers don't seem to have much to do besides stand next to someone else and hover. Had the spicy chicken sandwich , fries and kale salad. The sand which I will never order again. I actually opened the sandwich after a few bites to see if it was a real breast and not a patty. Tasted only of salt and very soft , possibly over brined not good when paired with a flaccid piece of lettuce and mushy tomato. The kale salad was a welcomed break it was good . The fries tasted of potatoes but no real texture or flavor. I don't understand the hype. read more

In one word - overrated! I'm just not sure why the lines are so long because the food is very average. Raising Canes and Chick fil both opened around the same time and so close to each other. I've been to Raising Canes many times but I have only been a few times to chick fil a and only on the mainland and so I thought I would go to chick fil a. Well the line was fairly long and the service was sub par but the food was really disappointing. I want to love chick fil a since they are always busy but honestly, Raising Canes chicken fingers far exceed chick fil a's tenders and is waaaay better than chick fil a's nuggets. Chick fil a does have a larger menu but your vast array of choices doesn't mean your food is better. So after tasting my tenders from chick fil a, and being disappointed, I headed to Raising Canes for my Big Box Combo which did not disappoint. To each his own, but for me, I'll stick with Raising Canes. read more
