Staff was friendly and helpful. For a place that just opened a week ago, they were so organized! When we drove up, the lines looked pretty long. There were two lines that were both filled. But there were lots of staff servicing both lines so the wait times were no where near what i was expecting. I was thinking it would take me 30-45 mins in the drive thru. I was in and out in 15. Super impressed with everyone being on point. Food was great too. We ordered the spicy deluxe meal and it did not disappoint. Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. If you are expecting to eat soon, you'll have to wait quite a bit. Your place in line does not matter, whether you eating in for or drive thru. I've had bad experiences both and no longer even bother to go there, even if I see there is just one or two customers in line. Once, I've decided to eat inside and was just sitting there waiting for my food. As a matter of fact, I just had portions come out and had to wait for the remaining. I was pretty much done before I got the shake, drink and fries. Twice; I've gone through drive thru, and twice I've been in front of the line, and watch 10-15 cars BEHIND ME get their order before I did and drive around me. Note, my orders are not big. I'm just a family of 3, and my wife and I share a meal, get another sandwich on the side and get some nuggets for my kid. There would cars with bags and bags of orders, looking like large families getting delivered behind me. Makes no sense!!! Both times I've waited over 30-45min!!! NO JOKE! That is absurd! Trust me, the food is not worth the wait (food was cold and soft....meaning it sat there while I watched others pass me by), the service sucks, you'll wait longer than needed, and it's pricey. Save your time and go to 7-11 next door if you want something. TIP: If you want drive thru chicken, make the extra mile or two down the road and go to Raising Canes, where you get your food on time and tastes just as good, or even better. I'll bet you get your food faster even if you made that extra drive! I sent a review to the store and they gave me a free dessert coupon. It took a while for someone to ask me what I wanted. There was only 1 register open and several employees were standing around trying to resolve a customer problem. The bread was not too fresh. There were five or six employees around the counter and no one minding the dining area. When I asked for a refill with no more ice and I was given a refill with more ice. read more

Love Chick-FIL-A! I am so happy that they are now open on the West side. This location recently opened last month and I felt that the service was well run. We went through the drive thru. They had staff directing traffic and although the line was long, cars were flowing and people were getting their orders. We had a very nice respectful staff member take our order from her tablet, she also was able to scan my rewards code so I can get my reward points. She repeated our order and asked us if we wanted anything else more than once to make sure we were good with what we ordered. You can also order ahead from your mobile app and pick up your food inside or at the drive thru. Our food was ready pretty quickly. They had a staff member handing out people's food based on their car type and name. Very efficient. I ordered the grilled nuggets which are always so well seasoned I don't even need a sauce! The side salad is quite filling as well. Hubby ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and an order of crispy nuggets, the waffle fries were also tasty. Definitely a satisfying experience. read more

Every time I order a pickup order and my food is ready the workers just walk past me and ignore me even if I say "excuse me" !!! like I'm standing at the area because you guys don't put the food on the pickup rack so I'm clearly waiting for my food but they still walk past me. This has happened to me 2 times before so this time I full on walked behind the counter and snatched my own food that was ready. Ridiculous!! Yay! Finally a Chick-Fil-A in Kapolei! Waited a few weeks to check out the new Chick-Fil-A in hopes that the crazy lines would die down. Went on a week night and decided to dine in. The drive thru line was quite long. There is lots of parking right in front of the restaurant and when we got there at about 6:30 pm there were just a few people in line and we were placing our order in less than 5 min. The dine in area is quite large, lots of tables! Nicely lit and colorful. What was most impressive to me was the service for a fast food joint. The employees were constantly moving around, cleaning tables, emptying trash cans and as they passed tables with customers kept asking if they needed anything. Our food was brought to our table and when we were asked if we needed anything my husband asked for more napkins and sauce and the employee was more than happy to get it for us. Food was just as I remembered it, I had the spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries and decided to indulge and get a peppermint milk shake (holiday flavor)...Yummy! I have been to several Chick Fil A's across the mainland, and the Kapolei location has by far the slowest drive thru experience. Both Honolulu locations are much more efficient. I hope the management can retrain their staff to meet the standards of CFA speediness. During our visit last Saturday (lunch) the order was taken (not repeated) and with that a child's meal was missing. At the window we had to order and pay for another, to no fault of our own. Another prior visit, the order was taken promptly. We were informed they were out of Mac n Cheese. This was at noon! We were in line for 30 minutes with just a few cars ahead of us. On the mainland I have never waiting more than 15 minutes with a double lane filled with more than 20 customers. I do not understand how this location is SO SLOW! read more

The place is very and organized and of course the furnitures are new . The drive up is very easy as usual but we decided for dine. The crew are nice and able to get our orders very quick. The sandwiches and kids nuggets were really fresh. The guy was nice to give good amount of sauce. The only think the dinning table are not clean glad to have my own wipes and clean . While waiting for my order, I noticed those ahead of me getting their orders, but I was still waiting on mine. No biggie, but I could see that my food looked ready. As I glanced over to see if the lady would bring our food, I instead saw her on FaceTime with someone. I thought maybe she was on break. Nope..she was working! A fresh, tasty, healthy chicken sandwich. I had a deluxe, appreciate how they leave it plain with no dressing to allow you to add your own sauce. Several flavors of sauce are available. Service was efficient, friendly, and above average for a fast food establishment. I opted for a drive through order on my first visit to this new location in Kapolei. I added fries to my order, and requested several times to prepare it extra crispy. Upon receiving my order, I find that my request for extra crispy was overlooked. So disappointed! If we didn't like the original chicken sandwich we would be at one star. Biggest problem is that they can't get the $12 Market Salad right! The first time we only got chicken on the salad, so I called and was told to come for replacement. I returned and I did a quick peek before driving off. Even though mainland stores are renowned for their efficiency and timeliness, that level of service should not be expected at the Kapolei location. I would love to be proved wrong but seeing as I have visited this location at least five times in its two month existence, and I was the first car in the drive up this morning; plan on wasting (on average) 30-45 minutes of your day if you order here. I could over hear the staff joking about slowing the line down and stopping orders after only three orders were placed. One member said four times, "This customer is sitting at the window." referring to me as my food and drinks just sat on the counter. I won't be back. Please send mainland staff to train and equip a the quality workforce we've come to expect from Chick-fil-a. This is the slowest and least organized location I have ever seen.... Went there about 11:30 and the line inside had one person ahead of me. But the drive thru although long, looked like it was moving quickly. Inside the place was tidy and clean, great ambiance. The workers were friendly and stayed busy but attentive to the needs of the customers. They were aware of their surroundings and there are even workers who check on those eating to see if the needed a refill or more sauces. I had the chicken nuggets and ate them with ranch and BBQ sauce and they went well together. This is real chicken nuggets people! Very juicy and tasty! Not to particularly fond of this brand. Portions are small and lack in flavor. Unless completely drenched in one of the sauces, no flavor at all. My grandkids enjoyed it so I can't say that it was a total waste of time or money. The place is brand new so maybe they are still working on timing or flavor profile. Today I got the Cobb Salad with Spicy Chicken Filet with fries and 3 brownies (yes I have sweet and savory cravings during this time LMAO). The service was top-notch & this location might top the Ala Moana location by far (everyone has their opinions and I have mine). The salad was fresh and the fries were hot (as they should have been) I haven't bitten into the brownies but I know they'll be as fudgy and chocolaty as they should be! The fries here are half cooked w no salt, the order process is insane where they take 20+ cars at a time and constantly mess up my order. I understand it's busy but this is the island and island time is real, take less orders at a time, cook the fries longer, and make people wait.
