We dined in and part of our order had a 3 piece strip meal and a 12 piece nugget meal. They dropped off our order but were missing the 3 piece strips. I informed the crew and they brought it out and apologized. I counted the number of nuggets from my meal and there were only 10. I let the staff know there were 2 missing. I assumed they would just bring the missing 2 pieces but instead brought out a whole new order. I asked if they wanted to take the 10 original back but they said it was ok to keep. Ever since I was a child, Chick-Fil-A has always been a part of my weekly culinary menu...util I moved to Hawaii. I was stoked when Ala Moana got the first Chick-Fil-A on Oahu, but was starkly disappointed when I learned Chick-Fil-A no longer served their chick'n strip. Regardless, when this location finally opened up across from Ka Makana, my little Ewa-dwelling self decided to give it a try after it had been open a couple of months. Thank goodness for technology so I can place my order ahead and pick it up via drive-thru or drop-in. When I arrived, the drive-thru lines were hella long as they have been at all new Chick-Fil-As. The exception to this particular location? You can dine inside! Now, I am never going to expect any Chick-Fil-A to be a "fast" food so I'm never going to expect speedy, expedited service. As many times as I have been to this location, I expect it will always be so. Though they run like a well-oiled machine, their care for the food and attention to detail will always make their production a tad slower than their counterparts. Of course, aren't all "fast food" chicken places running on the slower side? This location has wonderful employees who do their jobs well and seem nice enough; they don't tend to speak to any customer waiting in the lobby for their to-go orders. As I waited for my order, I observed you publicly belittling and embarrassing a young off-duty employee in front of guests and coworkers. As a manager, it is your responsibility to handle disciplinary matters in a PRIVATE and respectful manner. Instead, you chose to humiliate a 16-year-old in front of others, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment for not only the employee but the guests (there were 3 of us in arms length away by the Uber eats counter). Your actions were not only inappropriate but also reflected poorly on the reputation of the restaurant. If you are unable to handle the challenges of managing young employees, perhaps it is time to reconsider your role at Chicfila. I've always enjoyed breakfast here at Chick-fil-A when I visited the mainland and so glad it is closer to home, literally a 10-min. drive and never as busy as it is during lunch hour. The employees do very well at making sure each customer in the drive thru lane has been helped. I haven't been inside the restaurant yet but if it's anything like the service in the drive thru lane, I'm sure the experience is great. Having the mobile app handy helps to expedite getting your food quicker and gets you out of the main drive thru lane as long as the other drivers are aware that the far right lane is not a lane where you pick up your food at the window. I get my usual chick-fil-a biscuit sandwich with tater tots and iced coffee. My daughter loves that they have a fresh fruit cup so we always get that for her and she finishes it. read more

I ordered my meal and noticed a discrepancy regarding a promotion they had going on from 5pm to 7pm that day, as I brought it up she didn't know how to respond so I just left it at that since it was going to be a big ordeal for her to fix the issue. Waited for our food which came incomplete, missing the kids milk and other items. Finally time to eat however was served ice cold food, and I don't mean it was sitting around cooling down, I mean it was cold. I was honestly surprised at how great our visit to Chick-fil-A was. Normally when food chains come here from the mainland, they're subpar or not quite the same as how it was when I had it in the states. This visit was spot on! The food and the service were 10 outta 10. I ordered a semi large order which included 2 chicken sandwich meals with fries and salad, a kids meal, nugget meal, Mac and cheese and peppermint shake. I love that their kids meal came with a little book instead of a toy. It was perfect for my son. Some favorable mentions are the Mac and cheese, American chicken sandwich, nuggets and surprisingly the apple cider vinaigrette for the salad. Honestly, everything tasted great. The most shocking part of the experience was that the service was quick. It took maybe 20 mins total in the drive thru and that was with me starting in line across the parking lot next to Longs. Management needs to change dramatically the drive thru experience. I would frequent the restaurant far more often than I do currently if they would change the way they get your food to you. You see the girl taking the orders in the drive thru line and you feel good because you figure that your food will be ready in a timely fashion by the time you get to the pick up window. But that's the routine in a normal drive thru line, not this one. I got in the line at 9:55 am, my order was taken at 10 am and 15 minutes later the girl walks over to my car with my food. The problem is that I cannot get that food back to my house before it is completely cold! The reason is because of their inefficient ordering system! I was trapped in a long line of cars that did NOT get their food yet and I had no way out. Not only am I wasting precious fuel to sit in a long line of mumbo jumbo order deliveries but it's wasting my time! Why can't you just let the people drive up, place the order at the kiosks that currently sit there unused and then drive up in order and pick up the food. This review has a bit of mixed emotions. so I was extremely happy because there was no line in the drive-through when I went. It was about 1130 so right before the lunchtime rush. I immediately got my order taken. We got two of the new dragon fruit drinks. My son loves the frosty dragon, fruit, lemonade, and the regular lemonade. I got with dragon fruit pineapple was amazing. My food was OK. I don't know what it is, but from my order, I got the grilled chicken club and the bacon was so hard to chew.
