Lines were out the door since we were there for opening night but they were ready for it. We were in line for less than 10 min! Inside looked very nice as you'd expect from a brand new building with plenty of seating (see photos). One unique thing I'd never seen before was their numbering system. Instead of a number, they give you a colored container which they also put your sauces in. Then they have runners bring you your order which I liked quite a bit. No dealing with number calling or calling out your order, they come find you. Alright down to the food. I tried the spicy deluxe sandwich and the SO got the nuggets with a peppermint shake and of course, a waffle fries for each. Unfortunately this is where things went a little bit south for me. The spicy sandwich was juicy and with plenty of chicken like any chick fil a sandwhich, but it didn't have much kick to it. Was it a great chicken sandwich? Yes, was it a spicy sandwich? No. The nuggets were a bit dry but one could argue that's because they use real chicken breast. The biggest downer were the fries were inconsistently salted; some had a TON some had barely any. All things considered, I can write all the negatives up to it being a new location and we'll definitely be back. TLDR: I'm stoked there's a chick-fil-a in town and will definitely be back, but still a few kinks to work out in the seasoning department. read more

Chick fil a is usually a 4 -5 star experience even with this being a fast food restaurant. Today was horrible. Unless you have time I highly suggest you eat else where on lunch. I mobile ordered my food so I would have to wait I checked in and the app asked if I got my food I replied no. Somehow they never got my order even though I was charged for it. An employee and two managers had to verify I actually ordered and paid for my food which I thought was a bit excessive. So I wait for 10 mins and finally ask what's going on the lady handy out the mobile orders had not started making my order because she wasn't sure which chicken I wanted on my salad.... she didn't look to hard I was sitting a few feet away. I picked up a to go order through the drive through earlier today and brought the food home. I ordered a deluxe spicy chicken sandwich, a side salad with Italian dressing, a small chicken soup, and a frozen lemonade. What I received after I got home was a very small chicken soup (the size of the cup has gotten smaller recently), a side salad with no dressing, a note stating they are discontinuing the side salad beginning April 3rd, an over priced frozen lemonade for the size, and NO SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH! I have been coming to this location (Hopyard Road & 580) frequently for the past 3 1/2 years I have lived in Dublin This is the third time my order was wrong or incomplete. Disappointed with pickup order and manager's response (9/26 evening). I wanted to save time so I ordered through the mobile app, waited at the front entrance for my name to be called and they were busy so I didn't stick around to check the bag, nor should I have to. When I got home I realized they left out the 12ct nuggets but I was charged for it. So at first site it was discouraging because the line was so long. It did seem to go fast, I may have spent about 25 min in drive thru. They do have two monitors taking orders so considering the line this was fast. There is a lot of food traffic and it was a full house. But once the order was taken it went by even faster. The service here is absolutely horrifying, very slow only 1 cashier for 200+ people literally. I've never seen anything like this before at a chick fil a. I was blown away by the fact that they have tandem drive-thrus which transport the food via overhead conveyor belt from the main building. I finally got to go to this place, after driving by several times and seeing long drive-thru lines and no parking. I went at 4:30 in the afternoon, and it was not busy. Here is my review: Food: Nothing special, in my opinion. Everything was just salty, with no other flavor. The regular sandwich was just the chicken and a couple of pickle chips on a plain bun. The bun was very thin. You can add your choice of sauce, so I tried the original sauce. It was also very salty. The waffle fries were nothing special either. They tasted frozen, not fresh potatoes, like In-N-Out. I felt I overpaid for what I got. Ambiance: This location has an area for the kids to play in, but at least there was a door separating it from the dining area. Still, it was very noisy. Kids not using their inside voices were very annoying. I don't think I will be back. I just don't see why people like this place. read more

Tasty food, great customer service. The employees here are almost always polite and professional. Once you've placed your order, wait time is minimal. Though delicious, the food is a bit pricey. I'll admit, I was excited when I found out a Chick-Fil-A was opening up in Pleasanton. I mean, c'mon... them Chick-fil-a nuggets with original sauce are pretty tasty! Don't be surprised if there's a long wait (drive thru or dining in) when you get here. I imagine it will be like this for quite some time, similar to the long wait at any In & Out Burger. My 1 hour Bart ride from San Francisco was well worth the trip! It was my first trip to Chick Fil A so I was super excited to see what all the hype was about. The line to order my food was long but was quickly getting shorter as the cashiers continuously took orders. Upon sitting down I waited about 30+ minutes until my food was given to me ( which is a bit crazy) however I'm still giving five stars because : 1) the food was delicious 2) two employees came to ask if I was waiting on something and promised to check on my order which was thoughtful on their end 3) I believe the store manager came to apologize to us for the wait and offered us a food voucher for the next meal. I have two complaints. Both of these were take-out orders, so there wasn't much we could do. First, they forgot a sandwich in my order, and my grandma was left without a sandwich. Second, they gave me sweet tea instead of unsweet tea, and they also gave me a regular chicken sandwich with pickles (my order was a spicy chicken sandwich with chicken only). I ordered breakfast on the mobile app before the cutoff for mobile drive thru pick up. I waited in the long line and checked in and they said my order would be ready at the window. The employee told me they are no longer serving breakfast. I asked to speak to manager and with an attitude, Carolina said that there is nothing they can do for me. I enjoy Chick-fil-A about once a week and I've been to this location a few times. Like all locations, the staff were extremely nice and the chicken sandwich are delicious. If there is anything to note at this particular location was the drive in line and the small parking lot. My first ever visit to the Pleasanton Chick-fil-a: I sat through the drive through which eas not too bad. I ordered two Delux Chicken burgers. Once on the road heading home with my take-out sack, I discovered one plain, meat-only burger and potatoes. So dissapointing especially because I asked the girl if the sack she was handing me contained two Delux burgers. She said "yes". Decided it was my problem because I did not open the sack and check. So two days later, still craving a Delux chicken burger, I returned. This time the car line was quite long; which is 2-lanes, merge to one, then 2-lanes again and merge to one again. I was sitting in the second 2-lanes quetly inching forward when a female order-taker motioned me to get over into the other lane. I couldn't quite manover it but did manage to slant my car over partially into the other lane and waited for it to move. In doing this the lane I left proceeded to advance and the lane I was directed to just sat... I tried not to get irritated. But wondered why I was singled out to move over. No other cars instructed to do so. I ended up 9 -10 cars behind where I would have been. I have to think I should stay away from the Pleasanton Chick-fil-a. read more

Service here is consistently great, polite & timely. Tends to get busy due to popularity but food fairly consistent and timely. Please continue this level of service that provides for the community. As an example to other businesses. At times cleanliness of restaurant can be disappointing, so an area of improvement. However I also put this responsibility on the patrons as well. Chick fil a is one of my favorite places to go! Their food is always fresh and tastes amazing! The service is always on point, the only problem I have with them is that they are stingy on their sauce! I am unable to enjoy the food as much. I love sauces and they make the food so much more enjoyable, I also don't mind paying for extra sauce but I am always confronted with "sir we can only give you 6 sauces" even after I went it and bought food for 7 people...... in and out has given me all the sauce I've ever asked for! Can't go wrong with chick fil a! This location is great, right next to the freeway. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant clean. The lines tend to get long but that is pretty typical for chick fil A and they move fast. Parking is good ( shared with a nearby store and an in n out) Overall great location! Drive-thru: Kid never asked if I wanted any condiments with my meal, so I asked for ketchup after he handed me the bag. He attempted to throw the ketchup into the bag but failed and the ketchup packets just hit my car door instead. He didn't even feel bad and apologize for it. Went here last night to pick up food before going to the drive in movie at the fairgrounds and scored an extra order of large French fries!
