He relied no combos. When we got to the window to pay, the amount was $8 more than we anticipated. After we got the food, I checked the bag and asked for the receipt. We saw that instead of charging 2 for $7 for the Dave single cheeseburgers (which was the special), we got charged $7 each. Oh no! So we asked for a refund for the difference. The cashier stated that we ordered wrong because we declined the combos. I'm confused at this point and asked for $7 back. She gave us $7 but kept our receipt. The actual amount owed back to us was closer to $8.63. But we took the $7 and moved on. And the Dave's singles were the tiniest Dave's single burger I've seen. Sometimes more than one or it'll be something like I order chips and cheese and they only put in the chips or only the cheese (both have happened). I think this is the third time straight I've gone to get milkshakes for my kids and the chocolate one has virtually no chocolate. The food bar was well organized, stuffed with various meats (chicken, pork, lamb, beef) and vegetables of all sorts. When handing your bowl to the check to cook, they put on a little show while you wait for your food which makes the wait not seem as long and at the end it is cooked to perfection. Our waitress kept our glasses full with ice cold beverages. Soft drinks are free for refills, however if you get lemonade, it is not. There is a soft service ice-cream bar for dessert after you've eaten. Makes for a nice touch although we decided to get dessert elsewhere. The tab for all 5 of us was about $128. They still have their soft serve ice cream for afterwards with sprinkles and chocolate strawberry Hershey's syrup. Lunch is a few dollars cheaper than dinner.
