When i politely asked if he could please put a little more chicken he says" Double Chicken!!" So they charged me $2.19 for EXTRA chicken. I didn't even notice all the bad reviews until AFTER I checked in and I'm glad I didn't read them because I would've missed out. The place is clean and the staff was friendly. Albeit, they were all Hispanic and spoke Spanish to the clients assuming their Hispanic or know Spanish so that would be my only complaint. The service was pretty fast and the portions are HUGE. I ordered a Mexican Wrapito and it was yummy goodness. Their curry mustard sauce is better than Pollo Tropical- it's not watery. If I had a chicken craving, I would come here again. read more

I ordered delivery from this establishment at 5:41 pm. Two orders of deluxe. The man I placed my order with said 35-45 min to which I said okay to. Sounds reasonable. I have class at 7:05 and it's already 6:28 when I call back. He says your food isn't here he must be close to which I say okay thats fine thank you. It is 6:42 and still no food. I call back and the same man I ordered my food with answers. I explain to him that I'm very sorry but I have class soon and I can no longer wait and I even said I'm sorry I'm doing this to him can he please refund me my order. He asked for my phone number and says the driver is near to which I reply I understand but it took longer than expected and the driver still wasn't there when I was leaving. He then told me that he told me 45-1 hour to which I said no you said 35-45 min. And he goes it's only been 45 min and I explained to him no it's been an hour. I called you at 5:41. And he said no you called at 6:40 and I said no at 5:41. It's been an hour please just refund me my money. He then told me to never call his business again! That he is no longer going to send drivers to me because I cancel. I would understand if I did this all the time but I don't. It's the first time I've ever had a bad experience at this place and I know you have the right to deny service to someone but this isn't fair. I've loved the service from every other chicken kitchen location I've ever been to. I love the food, and it's been my go to for years. I recently was relocated for work, and was excited to see I would still have a chicken kitchen close by. Ive given this location a few chances, but I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of effort or care from the employees. Employees in the evening are never welcoming. No greeting when entering the restaurant. I work nearby so I always order my food for pickup. They don't verify the name on the order; it's easy for anyone to come in and grab a meal that's not theirs. Of the few times I've ordered, one of the female employees has been at the register, sitting on a stool while talking on her cellphone with her mask down nearly every single time. To be behind the counter while working with food with no mask on in the age of covid is disrespectful and dangerous for the customers. Will not be ordering from here again. read more

As the employee was tending to me the manager reprimanded the employee for adding the 3 pieces of leftover chicken to my chop shop she then began to scream at him and tell him that if he didn't get his stuff together she would be Replaced. Gave this place another chance today after previous bad experiences and was yet again disappointed. First of all the place smelled horrific!!!! Like old dirty wet rags were used to Clean the tables. This location makes ordering chicken kitchen not worth it. Calling to make an order is always difficult when there is a lot of customers anywhere - THAT I would understand. Now the rudeness, the sarcasm and the sheer lack of attention these employees give to their customer is unacceptable. Every time I've called, the background noise is so loud that the employee can't hear me. Every time I've ordered for delivery, it's taken much more than the "45 minutes to an hour" estimate (even though I live down the street). Since I'm so close, I've tried to call to pick it up but I can't manage to overcome the awful attitude they have. I refuse to order from them again. I'd rather drive the extra 10-15 minutes and go to the Pinecrest location. Wife and I stopped in to grab a little something after having a pretty terrible dining experience elsewhere. 8 pm on a Friday night and there is no chicken cooked. Says it's going to take 20 min. While my wife was trying to order I went to use the restroom. After I started to relieve myself in the urinal I hear a woman's voice from the stall yell "the bathroom is closed I'm cleaning". I ask her if she expects me to stop and she says "yes, get out". Yeah right lady. No signs on the door saying they were cleaning. Kept mumbling under her breath at me while I finished. As if all this wasn't bad enough, she was using a red sanitation pail to clean the restroom. It was on the floor next to the toilet. When she came out of the restroom she went right to the kitchen and put the pail on the counter next to all of the food. Oh and guess who didn't wash her hands? We were still parked out front when she continued to very enthusiastically and obviously complain to the grill cook about what just took place. This girl and this restaurant is trash. read more

I don't hate chicken kitchen by any means. I hate THIS chicken kitchen. For starters, they have a limited sauce selection, and they don't like giving you your receipt. It just seems shady that they try to keep your receipt from you. Maybe they're trying to stop people from getting 20% off on the weekends. The last time I went there inspired me to do this review. I came in around 8pm and there wasn't much of a line, but it was really slow due to online orders; I had to wait over 10 minutes while being first in line. Finally an employee came to my rescue and asked me for my order, I began to tell him, and before he finished putting the rice on my plate, the manager told him "you're really stupid, I told you to stay back there, you don't handle food." I lost my appetite just watching that fat chap lipped bitch yell at this poor dude. Then she tossed all the rice he put on my plate back into the heating tray and continued to reprimand him for helping me with my order. She obviously has anger/emotional issues, and has trouble leaving them at the door. It was unprofessional, uncalled for, and abusive to say the least.
