I got the dish I had enjoyed before, the general tso's chicken, and the texture was way off. Instead of being crisp the chicken was very chewy and unpleasant. We ordered lots and shared it family style, and all of the food was brought out by our server out rather quickly. We got the half HK style honey roast duck, the Mala soup dumplings, the crab Rangoon, the crispy oyster mushrooms w/ chili sauce, the flame broiled honey glazed BBQ pork, and the house special Hong Kong Five Spice Braised Beef Brisket. The highlights were definitely the BBQ pork, crab Rangoon, and Mala soup dumplings. I really liked this place. We ordered the traditional dumplings, truffle dumplings, Dan Dan, truffle rice, and the szechuan chili wontons. Before sitting down, I had said that soup dumplings are typically good. So far, I haven't been able to distinguish quality of one handmade dumpling to another. But, this restaurant definitely proved me wrong. Everything we got was very good. For us, the service was probably a 3 star. I ordered the BBQ Pork, Dumpling Noodle Soup, and Pork Chive Potstickers (substituted with Hot Oil Dumplings). Success starts with amazing food first. And they did not disappoint. It reminded me of a place back at home in Honolulu called Mini Garden. Front of the house service is what keeps you in business. It would help if the server took my order down on a piece of paper, or if I could place my order digitally at the table. Sever a bit too forgetful. The kitchen needs to work on speed as they will no way be able to handle high volume ordering. 20 minutes to get 10 pieces of bbq pork. Another 20 minutes for soup. After they realized they had no potstickers, another 20 minutes for hot oil dumplings. I am not sure how good this kind of food is when it arrives for delivery. I feel bad for the Grubhub delivery drivers who had to return multiple times for a single pick up order. Over time, I see this being a go-to destination for me multiple times a week. read more

I tried their truffle pork soup dumplings and mala soup dumplings. They were so good. Brownie points for tasting good while being unique. I took a leap and was very well satisfied with my decision. I also had their five spiced beef burrito wrapped in scallion pancake and it was one of the best tasting beef pancake burritos I've had. Taiwanese style food. Interior is clean and stylish. Its not very large of establishment. We waited about 15 minutes for a 7:30pm reservation. Once seated, we ordered right away. The food rolled out pretty quickly after ordering. Food was very good, while portions were just average. Prices were (to me) not matching the atmosphere. We ordered the Chinese meat ball, black truffle fried rice and the pork potstickers. Over all the food was decent and service was good. Except the meat ball took a while, the rest came quick. The waiter kept checking with us to make sure if we need anything. In my opinion the meat ball and fried rice worth a try. I don't recommend the potstickers since it's $12 and only comes with 6 pieces. The taste was just decent potstickers, not amazing. They told me more will be added to the menu (they are soft opening) and they recommend black truffle duck which needs to be reserved a day ahead. read more

I love this place!! The duck is sublime. The fried rice is a must order and the xiao long baos are good enough to rival DTF (and beat out dough zone easily). The only miss I would say is the wontons- the sauce isn't quite as developed as compared to DTF. The drinks are a great value- especially for happy hour. They have a Somak tower in the form of four bottles and the happy hour occurs even on the weekends.
