If your going Chilis dont go here. Service sucks, food greasy and cold. Big waste of money and time. Tables went uncleaned for more than a hour on a not busy night. Ordered chips and queso, more than 25 mins later when the waitress finally came back had to remind her of the order. Then came out with the nastiest looking chips ive ever seen. Tonight I took my fiancé out to dinner, he ordered a regular soup and salad. He was unaware of how small the salad actually was. The sever over heard him tell me how small it was. (He was not complaining or upset though) but they graciously brought out another salad for him, on the house and also didn't charge us for our drinks. They were very attentive and exceeded expectations. I'm a regular, and have never been disappointed with the service. I highly recommend them! They have delicious food and have a staff that won't be happy until you are completely satisfied. read more

After having a bad experience at the chili's at mall of Georgia (waited 30 minutes and didn't even get drinks) we decided to walk out and head to this chili's at Hamilton mill. The experience was day and night. At the Hamilton mill chili's we were given a table right away and waitress got our drinks in a timely manner. I love reading all the reviews from people who say that they do not really like Chilis yet they went anyhow. That is funny stuff. But let me tell you, I have been a customer at different Chilis locations since they started opening in GA around the mid 90's. I have seen the chain fall from greatness at most locations. They used to be consistent no matter where you were in the country with great food at a great price. Over the years, the food became not quite as good and the prices kept going up. It was only recently that we decided to hit this locations after about a 2-3 year haitus from going to any of the Chilis locations due to bad experiences at MOG, Lawrenceville, McDonough etc.. but this location changed the game and put Chilis back in to "the rotation" for us (my family) and is the only one we will go to anymore. We consistently get excellent food and excellent service. If you walk in to a packed restaurant and the wait staff is spread thin, then yes, things may be a little slow. And yes, people do make mistakes and sometimes forget things. To summarize, this location has consistently good service, consistently good food and is in a great location. I may be slightly generous with the 5 star rating on this but 4.5 is what it deserves. read more

So my friends take me to chili's for my birthday dinner. We got here about 6:30. After a 15 minute wait we were seated. We finished our appetizers at 7:41 (I know the time because of a phone call right as I finished). It is now 8:37 and I still do not have my food. Just ordered one of their cheep 2 for 20 entres. The waitress said the kitchen is behind. Half the tables are empty and the people next to us (table of 4) have their food already and they were seated after we had finished our appetizers. They offered us a desert. I picked this place for my birthday dinner but will not be coming back. We finally got our food at 8:53. The table I referred to earlier is already leaving even though they got here after we ordered. They now say they had some backed up tickets in the kitchen. Another table that had come in long after we finished our appetizers is leaving now too nice and full. read more

I brought my son here because he requested it for his birthday dinner . I really wasn't excited about going here because I wasn't really impressed with the food or service the past few times we have eaten here. The whole family enjoyed the meal and sevice this time. I took my boys for dinner; it's been a while since we've been and they've changed the menu quite a bit. The food was ok; use to be better I think, but my issue is not with the food. They've new little tablet things on every table; you can order a drink, pay your bill, and there's games to keep the kids entertained. I'm thinking this is such a smart business choice, it frees up the server for a few things, it keeps the kids entertained (Potentially allowing people with kids to visit there establishment more since the kids are quite and entertained, it also expedited checkout, again freeing up the server and clearing the table sooner for the next customer for... very smart for business right! Well apparently there's a charge for use it; it's only $0.99, I was told there is a accept button when you first start using but I didn't know there was a charge since my son took to immediately. Now I'm not going to loose my house over $0.99 but I'm tired of all the little up charges that have been popping up everywhere, it does add up. They took what was a smart idea that would save them time & money and possible bring in more business and ruined it by trying to be too greedy. Sorry I know this is a bit of a rant , but I wont be returning to Chili's again anytime soon. read more

My husband and I visited the Hamilton Mill store in Buford Ga. chilis is my favorite restaurant but this was the worse dining experience I have ever had there! The manager was rude and dismissive. The server was rude and inattentive and immature. The cheese was molded. My meat was over cooked and my husbands meat was undercooked. I ate my whole meal without anyone checking on us to see if we needed anything or provide a refill. The sever dropped my change on the floor and left it and told me it was probably one of my quarters. The portion size was distorted. I have never had more tortilla shells than ingredients. I had a tortilla left over and a plate of onions and peppers. If we had not been traveling all day and it wasn't late at night we would have left the food on the table and walked out. We scoffed down as much as we could tolerate and got out of there. The manager whom was so dismissive wanted to provide me with something for the change situation. That was too little too late. All we wanted was a decent meal and that was not provided. I will never go back to this restaurant again! read more

This location used to be excellent but has gone downhill. Ordered the grilled chicken salad, which was no better than a fast food one. Actually some fast food ones are better and much cheaper! Also the chipotle chicken bowl, which was very small and had no chipotle flavoring it at all. Salsa was thin and watery. (Mind you it's a Wednesday night , 8pm, slow night) Upon coming in, the host sent us to the bar (which we didn't want to) and she instantly went back to hanging out with her friends at the bar, Was there for 10 minutes no greeting no any sort of acknowledgement that we were there, bar was pretty slow, the two waiters there were far more interested in the table of teenage boys next to us. And hanging out with them. Ridiculous!! We sat there for 10 minutes and was walked past, servers on their phones, didn't even get a hi, instead they were hanging out with the table next to us with the four teenage boys. Completely unprofessional! We will not be returning to this location again especially since the servers here don't know how to differentiate being at work and hanging out with friends. read more

My family ate at this Chili's location on a busy evening in the bar area. Our server was on point and friendly. My kids loved the soft pretzel app, along with the corn on the cob and cinnamon apples that came with their kids meals. Swore off of Chilis a few years ago b/c it was getting worse and worse in quality yet the prices kept rising. Then not too long ago I tried this Chilis in Hamilton Mill. It's been great and we've been back 4 times in 3 weeks! All 4 times have been great! Food quality has been great, excellent customer service and fair pricing. Excellent Chilis location. Me and my family went to Chili's on January 28 2017 first and foremost we waited 45 minutes to be seated and then when we got seated, The Waitresses rude nasty and inconsiderate and brought out cold queso cheese dip. After waiting almost another 40 minutes the waitress came up to us and advised that the kitchen was running behind and at no time at all she informed us of this inconvenience to meet my family. I've been eating at Chili's for years but this will be my last time ever stepping foot in any Chili's restaurant. The manager should be fired and the whole establishment needs to reevaluate its customer service as well as inconvenience to customers Chili's you suck. read more

Do not get the smoke wings!!! The menu pictures a golden brown flavorful crunchy type wing. We were very excited to try a new menu item. But do not fall for the menu photo!!!! The wings they served were a mushy, yellow, no seasoning mess. The worst I've ever seen and nothing like the menu photo. When the bartender asked how things were I questioned the difference and showed her the menu and the product she agreed..... The two had nothing in common! This used ta be our go to place for takeout. You could always count on the quality to be good and consistent. Unfortunately that's not true anymore. In our last 3 visits the quality has gone way down. They now mix in slimy dark meat chicken on the nachos and quesadillas. They used to only use white meat. This is the absolute worst restaurant. My party of 3 were told that the wait was 25 minutes when we arrived; however, we waited for 45 minutes. The hostess told us to go to a table that was in the first come first served section...I didn't even know this existed. There was a gentleman who made it to the table first but I had to explain to the server that we were told to go to the table. Apparently the server was upset because we took the table and she gave us extremely poor service. We waited for drinks for 10 minutes and didn't receive any complimentary chips and dip until I complained to the manager. Needless to say I won't be returning and next time I will just wait at PF Changs for 1 hr...at least we would be seated and eating by now. read more

It's been years since I've been to Chillis, now I remember why. Food subpar, smoked wings were cold and not tasty at all. Buffalo boneless wings had hard breading and did not taste fresh. The slider burgers were ok, my kids didn't like them. The service was great and they have a tablet that displayed the appetizers and some of the menu items. The tablet also has ability to order desert and alcoholic drinks but not main course meals or appetizers. Kinda bummed about that. I was able to checkout and leave a tip from the tablet which was nice. Your card doesn't have to leave your hand. The thing I didn't like the most was that these tablets charge $.99 all access to play games. My kids were playing with it and I told them not to order any games and they didn't. But $.99 showed up on my bill. I didn't dispute it since they reffiled my sons orange juice 3 times and also comped my desert. Service great, food and tablet games no good and needs work. read more

Don't plan on having a drink if you eat at Chili's. They charge $5.09 for a domestic bottle of beer. We tried the new onion ring appetizer and I wouldn't suggest it. It was burnt and very greasy. We tried the fried pickles a couple of weeks before, and they aren't good either. Very greasy. We seriously only keep going there because there's such a limited number of places to eat in Buford. The food came out fast and tasted great, the lunch specials are cheap and filling, we had an appetizer and two lunch entrees that came with soup/salad all for $19 and ended up taking stuff home! The manager came by our table when our entrees came out and told us the fries were going to be a couple more minutes so that we could have them fresh instead of the ones that had been sitting out. He brought them out and they were delicious and hot. We really appreciated him doing that. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This is probably the best Chili's I've ever gone to. read more

Everytime I have come to this location I have had a terrible experience. Either the food is cooked wrong or the server is just no where to be found. But I give them the benefit of the doubt because I've been in the service industry and know how it can be some days, however, today was the breaking point. *it has never been busy when I have gone.* My sister and I went in, having not eaten all day we were pretty hungry. Ordered the Asparagus appetizer, it was great. Good omen, right? Nope. My sisters order was 100% wrong. She ordered the citrus chile steak.. comes with tomatoes (she read this as potatoes by accident, her fault) asparagus, and fries. The one she got came with tomatoes and a salad, no fries, no asparagus. When we informed our server, Chris, about this he told her it was basically the same thing. She then told him she has a vitamin C allergy and cannot eat more than a certain amount a day, the tomatoes would set that off. He took her plate back to the back, we were seated near the kitchen and could hear them laughing about it as he walked away. The manager came out to talk to us and basically told her that she had ordered it wrong, but it was ok cause everyone does it and even gave an example of when she did.. No he gave the wrong thing, she read ONE word wrong. The next time her food came out her steak was over cooked, at this point we were done and she just told Chris that she didn't want the order anymore. He walked away saying "it definitely had more than enough time to be cooked more than medium.." While waiting for our check, I noticed that some of the lettuce in my salad was going bad. It was one piece, not a big deal. Until the manager tried to tell me it was the spring mix and supposed to have some purple on her, to which I responded by showing her the very evidently brown lettuce. I decided I was done with my meal. The managers response was basically to give us two $5 gift cards to use next time and comp our entrees, ok, fine. But when we said we wanted to use the gift cards to pay for our $6 bill for the appitizer, she basically told us we won't get the remaining balance. We said whatever, and left. We will not be returning to this location. I advise people to spend a little more in gas and go to the Mall of Georgia location, it has much better service. read more

I just left this location, so I had to write a review! I enjoy eating at Chili's but this location really disappointed me. I ordered a bacon burger which is really not that hard to mess up, my sister that was dining with me order the same thing. I have a severe allergy to peanuts, tree nuts and tomatoes so Chili's is a safe place to eat. My order was taken back more then once because the topping and also the temperature of the burger. My burger was supposed to be medium and my sisters well done. So you can only imagine my frustration when I get a well-done burger, and she gets a medium Burger but hers has tomatoes on it. So there's no way that we can switch. So the next one was medium but with tomato. The server apologized several times she also brought over the manager Lisa. The server explained that the kitchen kept messing up and she was deeply sorry. Lisa the front end manager didn't say many words at all, when the service was explaining the situation. All that manager said was do you have any further questions. I gave her the craziest look, will shaking my head no. As the manager I felt like she should have came over to the table explained the situation and see what else could have been done instead of the server trying to save the situation. Yet, all she had to say was do I have any other questions. I never asked you a question for you to ask me do I have any questions for you. Also as a manager your customer service skills should be phenomenal where you can jump in and fix the problem especially if there is an allergy issue. Let alone the meal being taken back more than once. With all this being said I paid my bill in full and I still tipped the server because it wasn't her fault. I did leave the last order sitting there on the table. Also there were other guests dining with us, their food came out fine. read more
